Cats in general... meh... but I enjoyed the story. It's well written and the human characters are relatable. The author did a great job with the human emotional side. From the panic Maison feels at thinking he's lost his sister's kitten to the angst Evan feels at realizing he's in love with his best friend and the consequences of that love. Even the fierce protectiveness that Evan's mom has for Maison comes across loud and clear. Excellent job!

Being a trafficker... and researching such individuals is one thing. Rescuing someone vulnerable is another. Andy has insights as to how the business operates. He is speculating as to what toll it takes on those who were its victim.

I am safely back home and happy to be here. I do love seeing new places and Chicago surprised me in a pleasant way. It's very much like NYC but a lot cleaner. All too often, we hear just the bad stuff, but I can honestly say I would go back for a touristy visit if I ever have the chance. Airports and planes, however are an entirely different beast. Too crowded and people are in way too much of a hurry. Give yourself time and it's less stressful. I did have to break down and request a wheelchair in Tampa when I landed. After 3 days of walking way too much, me and my air compression boot needed a break. It's the first time I've ever had to do it. I felt rather self-conscious. I got a little aggravated when I saw a guy who had requested pre-boarding in Chicago (like I did) and limped on the plane... nearly race off with no limp when we landed. I can't stand idiots who abuse the system. I felt bad requesting assistance and I have a damn good reason.. but that's just my nature. Have a happy Friday tomorrow!

I did it two years ago and lost 75lbs. It's a great program as it doesn't just focus on what to eat, but also the when, why & how to eat. It addresses the mental aspect of why we choose the foods we do and how to change it.

Just like in every story, this one too will play out. You just have to let it. Don't forget that Andy is in over his head with this. There is no such thing as Rescuing Victims of Sex Trafficking for Dummies. His only priority right now is to make sure Matt has a safe place to land while he figure out what to do. The logistics of bringing someone back into the real world from the land of the missing is not as simple as going down to your local DMV and getting a new ID. We can't forget that Andy is an author. His mind is artistic, not logistic. If that were the case he'd be an accountant. He needs a hot minute to gather his shit and figure out his next steps. Trust the process.

Matt is rightfully scared and skeptical. He's had a rough few years and is going to need time before he can accept support which is something he doesn't have much experience with. Andy and Maeve have the patience and maturity to do what needs to be done. I'm off to the airport today to fly home. Definitely looking forward to my own bed. As always, fantastic chapter tim!

I MADE IT FIRST ON PAGE 3!!!! I think Kaanan just wanted to unload what he considered tainted goods. The money was a mere drop in the bucket to him. Poor Matt. He is currently stuck in limbo on an island. He has no idea what Andy has in store for him. Yes, Maeve said they mean him no harm, but he's been told that before. His anxiety must be through the roof. Great chapter tim! Today was a long, long, info-packed day, but we ended it with an awesome meal at an Italian restaurant. I had the best lasagna and cheesecake I've ever had.

In my world it's because Kellan is Reilly’s Lambda. Their's is a unique relationship and it's part of the bond they gave. Reilly felt hurt and betrayed by his wolf. Logically he knows the animal is traumatized but emotionally he's still dealing with something that manifested when he was young. He's still processing even though it's been several years.
