Days later, Devan Black took a seat in one of several empty chairs facing a colossal Florida ceiling window in the hospital cafeteria. He flicked his digistrap that popped a hologram of Castle’s room broadcasted from the surveillance cameras. The patient was asleep and had yet to wake up. He swiped his digistrap to check the telemetric data and saw his vitals as stable. But there's no certainty; the conclusive proof was he needed to be awake to ensure he’s survived his cleansing. Tapp

Truly madly deeply do. I really wanted to stretch how much Castle as a character can take. Makes you think how much shit he's gone through in the past for him to survive several cleansing whilst half-awake and not succumb to getting mindfrayed, you know, his brain turning into putty. I have dealt little with his past, but it's a prequel idea I'm willing to write 100 years from now, since I haven't even finished writing the 1st act. 😆 My ambitions are like, "This'll be a 5 book novel," but reality and my brain is telling me, "Bitch...you have chores. Who's gonna feed your cat and uproot the trees?" Also, I wanted to add that there are some cases where some individuals aren't suitable for cryogenic sedation (literal brain freeze, while going through the operation) but I didn't want to complicate it, so I cut it off. It's probably a future storyline or something, but I won't deal with it right now. Although, it somehow gives credence that Castle was never alone with his experience, that going through several cleansings was the literal case of choosing death over this, or a case of: I'd rather die than go through this-scenario, and gives him empathy for others who'd gone through the same harrowing experience. But I'm not writing a 1k novel, so no. You sneaky...🤣 I hate you for uncovering zeh plot devise. YIZ, the relic will have a bigger role in zeh future, coz zeh future storyline ties up with zeh Black's zeh problem. Around chapter 12, zeh relic plot line will introduce probably a character that was so much fun to write. He was mentioned in the first chapter. Zeh character and Castle's banter is akin to Black and Sergey's relationship: they're all a mess, and I love them for it. As for Dr Chaudhary, ooh...there's a reason why they don't want Castle sleeping, again. It's a MAJOR plot that I won't spoil, because it's a plot that spills over ACT II. Plus zeh Doctor has a very important role (theoretically thinking) if I add that subplot, which I'm already writing right now, that also links up to the zeh relic, and a link to ACT II.

The next chapter is definitely one of my faves only because it's the chapter that wrecked my focus because I was writing so much and the plot grew bigger—in a good way. Besides the, erm, honk honk scene. 😅 I realised that I haven't written much honk honk lately. I wanted some honk honk in the pages but my brain was like, "You have issues. Seek help," so I'm now forced to write it if it comes. Fast forwarding now to my mind when it comes.

…INSIDE OPERATION DECK 05, MARK CASTLE’S SURGERY… On the first day, Castle stirred from his sleep. When he opened his eyes, the fragments of light huddling their way into his eyeballs gave it a sting. Feeling the weight of a hundred people on top of his body without the strength to salvage any movement from his listless form assured his mind that he was in a terrible quandary. Without visible images decipherable by memory, he relied on his hearing. But all he heard was a continuous buzzing

Yes, Jacob is the Prince of Genovia. Prince's Diaries was meant to revolve around him, but Anne Hathaway got the role, so they turned his character into a female. I'll be making sure all of you got confused which to root for for zeh love triangle. The question is: Will Black choose someone who needs him because he's loved by him, or will he choose someone who loves him because he needs him? Thanks yousss! Alice and Black's family/gang will have a bigger role the 2nd Act. As for the Mind and Body affinity, it's the entire premise that leads to ACT II. I'm nearly getting there, just piecing everything together before I write it. I just need to iron out some details.

Petrified by his own ruminations, a tap on his shoulder brought him back into motion. He turned around and saw Agarion with his arms spread open inviting him for a warm hug. “Come on, what are you waiting for—vimrowid?” He wanted to command his feet to reciprocate his greeting. But his six pairs of eager eyes expressing different emotions and his good-humoured face amidst the long-braided grizzled locks of facial hair made him cagey. The small man had always kept him on his toes in ca

I have a thing for my character's love interest, butting heads with each other. Plus it's really all about the steamy sex scenes for me and how they made, er, Male Shepard, the passive one which made me discover his kink of letting someone in control for a change--makes sense for a character destined to take charge in saving the universe. He has to find someone who'll take charge of other things, in the, er, bedroom department. As for Ashley, the writers seem to really hate her. I'm not fond of her xenophobic tendencies given it's 200'ish years into the future and she's sounding like she lives in the midwest. She really gave me space-Karen vibes, that one. As for Kaiden, I feel like he's one-sided on things that have affected him on a personal level, which contradicts his upbringing on being open to things. So there's a disconnect with some of the shit he'd said on ME:1 over his actions on ME:3 that leaned more towards Shepard's ideology. I've always had a game boner for Alistair when I found out you can mod him, a few years after the game was released. I think I discovered this from a YT vid and I was like, "What is this sorcery! He's too spunky, just how I like 'em. I have to play this." Also, Cullen looks like a cousin so, I kind of steered away from him. Haha. Dragon Age 2 male Hawke though, chef's kiss.

He's definitely a sassier Chewbacca if Chewbacca stopped grunting and spoke like R2/D2, with that added manner of a gentleman. I'm currently writing a scene where Sergey and Andrew are talking shit about some characters while the two of them are having a Bridgerton/Downton Abbey afternoon tea, inside Sergey's digistruct. I'm still deciding if I should add it. But Sergey's definitely Bridgerton's "The Queen" or Downton Abbey's "The Dowager Countess" so far.

🤣😂 This is the last flashback. I'm done with flashbacks myself since I've pretty much explained now and have gotten Castle and Black to the precipice of where I want them to be. And as for the confusing characters, there'll be more characters to come. 😆 If I manage to finish book 1, I'm turning this into a three part book. So every character referenced will show up eventually. Don't worry, sometimes half the books I'm reading I don't know which is which. So I prefer reading a completely finished book so I can zoom past my reading and later go back to analysing past situations and scenarios to further strengthen my understanding of the character's plot and purpose. It's difficult with this kind of setup. That's why I try to make my chapter titles catchy and snappy, so that if in case a reader has to backtrack at a previous chapter, it's easier to go back to...rather than think, "Was it in chapter 4, 7 or 9?"

🤣😂 I wanted to say something so bad when you mentioned from your last chapter comment: I badly wanted to say, "Er, it's actually Castle and Black who went back into the past," but I didn't want to spoil it. Since in Chapter 2, Fractured, I gave a reference or a (dent) to, erm, possibly, how it happened: It's somehow a direct reference to Black not being affected by Castle's powers, but also is 'kinda' affected by it in a way--which will be discussed later in the future. Like when Castle looked into his Time Sequence when he was fighting the Black Soldier's team, Black wasn't a part in what he'd seen in the future events. Which, kind of, gives him assurance that the FUTURE Black is really his DEAD Husband, because, if and if, his dead husband was the only person whose future he couldn't see and could never see, and Black seems to be that person whose future he couldn't see and could never see whenever he looked into his Time Sequence, then does that mean, Black is really is dead husband? But then again, that'd be too easy wouldn't it? Ahihihi. That would bore the shit out of you and the other readers if I turned it into, "OMG. They're really the same person!" If you want to read the spoiler, maybe a semi-spoiler, then this will give context to why Black came back with Castle. This will further be discussed in Act II as this will involve Black's entire backstory, history, and will circle around the purpose of their journey in Act II. Black and Castle are the only ones who remember that timeline. Meredith and Sergey had no idea about the 'Castle Murdering Everyone and Going Back in Time-timeline' had happened, that's why they were all surprised to see Castle bleeding out. Imagine, they were all talking about him a few minutes ago, and the next second, he was in his seat with a hole in his chest bleeding out? It would definitely raise questions about whether someone had tried to kill him, or if the bomb inside him might have gone off (which only Meredith, Black, together with the High Council are aware of), or if someone in the room had tried to kill him. I'm not gonna discuss about such possibilities. This isn't a suspense thriller novel. If I focus on it, this might turn out to be a 500k novel. 😂 But this will be referenced lightly, in the next few chapters. However, it does make you think that Sergey, who said that 2 out of the 3 things that were shown to him by Sleeping-pod-Castle, had turned out to be true, would he not question the possibility that scenario number 3, 'Castle Murdering Everyone and Going Back in Time-timeline' might have actually happened? If I were Sergey, I'd be like, "Hang on...This schmuck was meant to be revived today, turn into golden floating Adonis/Arexian, and Murder Everyone then Go back in time. The first two have already happened but where's the Murder Everyone then go back in time scenario? What if it's already happened since right now, he's in his seat bleeding to death with a hole in his chest. ERMERGERD! I'm a good detective! Someone pat me in the back." And it also makes you think that if Castle had shown him premonitions of the future, are there other things that he might have seen that he hasn't told anyone? Also, there's really no reason for Sergey and Meredith to go back to the past with Castle and Black. I had a draft where all four of them went back into the past. Meredith turned into a sulking B-each that hated Castle and I was like, "Er...She's turning into a Karen. I need to revise this," which made me realise how much she loves her brother. Plus I couldn't think of any plot-reasons/devises how TF the four them were able to go back in time. He's really soft on his family. It's a different side to him that I loved writing about--which happens in the next chapter. Plus his deeper backstory will be really exposed around Act II. But yeah, he will have a childhood that has affected with how he views the world. And as for his uniform, yeah, I made sure he looks like a Space Medieval fighter with emphasis on his bootylicious. I'm already in the works of showcasing, er, Castle's guns and muskules of glory, for research purposes, regarding with what he'll wear by the time I start writing Act II.

When the first few lights seeped into his iris, Mark Castle swallowed and forced down the sour, acrid lump down his throat. And when he regained a semblance of his five senses—as he wiggled his toes and fingers, craned his neck a few inches to make sure he still has control of his body, touched the loose strands of hair on his arm peeking out from the hospital gown, and flickered his eyes from the still white light permeating through his eyelids—the moment he gazed upon the faces lined up around

Aww. Thank you. I'm excited about the next chapter, though. It was disturbingly very visceral and gave me a bit of a nightmare because I really pushed the envelope of how much Castle had to go through. Sorry, but I like my characters to suffer. They get a lollipop afterwards, anyway. But don't worry, he'll get some kissu kissu and some loving--in his dreams. 😆

Well, you see, I don't intend to thrust my readers down a rabbit hole to confuse those who read my story. Every question one might have is already within the story itself--the context clues are all laid in place for the reader to have the gist or the answer to whatever question they probably might have. 😁 One thing that I do as a writer; I don't enjoy writing the obvious. But I don't exclude giving simple explanations either.

FIRST OF ALL...Thank you for asking questions. 6 chapters in and you're the only one who asked a complete list of questions. To give an insight, humans fear that what we do not understand threatens our security and trust for our very own safety and welfare. And I guess, since Stratford is, after all, human, I wrote his character to represent what our doubts would be, if ever we were to see a person from the past come into our own timeline. Plus, I tried to make sure that Stratford's decision to take Castle straight to the Arexian Citadel to meet his boss, High Councillor Regina Utada, was a decision made on his own--not as a decision issued by The Council themselves, which represents the collection of advanced species thriving in the year 3075. I made sure to mention it in the previous chapter. How sure was Stratford that the council didn't need to be informed that Castle needed more time? Who gave him the authority? Was he even given the authority to do so? Why is Stratford so hell bent on chastising Castle? Does he have some backstory of why he's such a dick which revolves around Castle? Why did the author turn Stratford bald? Does he have a problem with bald people? Is it his fetish, or a major turnoff? And this is what Sergey said at the start: Which begs the question. What is Stratford's plan? Does this plan involve space nachos? How did Sergey have an insight into what his plans may be? Are they friends? Are they enemies? Were they former lovers? Was Sergey his child's baby daddy? Why was Stratford so eager to take Castle to The Arexian Citadel? Was he paid to do so by a different Tech company? Did he have some kind of underground deal, cause you know, bald people are shady af...but generally hot, like Jason Statham and The Rock? And if Castle owns 42% of VastoTech, and VastoTech is one of the major corporations that finances the Triumvirate Council’s expenses, and seeing as Ambassador Stratford is an employee of The Council, why is he being a dick to a major stockholder of the universe's largest corporation? Is he planning something devious, or is he a good guy after all--despite a lot of evidence proving that he's a major doorknob? A flying levitating being radiating with quantum (LETHALLY TOXIC) energy literally revived someone from the dead and created a vacuum inside a room surrounded by the strongest metal in the known universe. All of them would've died from radiation poisoning--if not for the Thyranium walls that surrounded them, which, no one had an idea that Thyranium could even do that. Meredith and everyone inside the chamber was ready to die because...they're going to be swallowed by the vacuum. And I think that literally erases all niceties, and probable "OMG! You'e the last living Arexian. Nice to meet you. But I hope you didn't have to scare us with shit like that", and creates apprehension and doubt if Castle's entrance was marred by a doom and gloom scenario filled with wonderment (when he did his god-saving reviving shiznits when he brought Black back to life) and some random-ass vacuum appearing right in the middle of the universe's top scientific mind, scaring the living bajeesus out of them. One serious thing I'd say, is that, as a writer, everything I write has a purpose. Even the smallest details will probably show up one way or the other. Even the Prologue pretty much explains everything that'll go on in this entire story. Even a simple timestamp written in the prologue will have its time in the plot. Because it's in the details that I get to enjoy writing the next chapters and how the story progresses. I'm not perfect author by any means. But I surely hope that I'm able to express and show you, the readers, what I'm able to see inside this twisted, and wonky head of mine, about this world I've imagined for the last decade. The world I'm writing is so huge that I'm trying to avoid being swallowed by the very thing I created. Please feel free to ask questions. Just don't attack me personally, because I will lie down in a foetal position, sing 'Mary had a little lamb', and charge you for my succeeding therapy sessions. Regards, LJCC.

I only wished Mass Effect 1 had a proper introduction to Kaiden and male Shepard's relationship. I remember hearing from a tweet that male shep could be spec'd to romance Kaiden, and I was like, peeing my pants whilst in a meeting, looking very very eager to get home to mod my PC game and see what the buzz was about. I was not disappointed; except for the mangled arm and, er, positioning when male Shepard would go through the motions of being underneath Kaiden (supposedly with the female Shepard's animation) and contorting his upper torso in the process while they're in the heat of making out. And the fact they made male Shepard the bottom only made this romance, the icing on the cake.

Soldiers from the Triumvirate Council’s Shadow Infantry bolted inside the auditorium with their swords pointed readily to the ground. The swords called endBlades—a fiery glowing transparent carbide-tipped sword made of nanograin materials forged by the digisight’s fabricator—hissed and seethed at every step the squadron took to encircle the whole of the auditorium. The black soldier standing quietly in the columns, who’s been leading and commanding the squad through their digistructs, waved his

Stay tuned for next week's episode where I confuse you again. No, I'm kidding. Next chapter will literally shed light to everything! Stay tuned 😆!

😂 Dorothy's not in Narnia anymore, that's for sure. NOTES: As for the 2nd event, I will reference it throughout the entire story...but this is just a preview I associated with as early as Act I so no one would get confused why suddenly it's the entire focus of ACT III. This is the part I mentioned in my past comment where Act III's focus plot will centre on outer space where they fly fly fly like a buttahfly.

…BACK IN THE REAL WORLD. “What’s happening!” said Meredith rattled by the anxiety surrounding her. Pushing back the rim of her glasses, her steely gaze darted towards the group of scientists across the chamber. A stasis pod inscribed with A-1-999 on the bottom shaft was in the middle of the chamber, levitating atop a pedestal. They were frantic against the thunderous countdown wailing in the background. A lockdown occurred. And amongst other things, they’re the ones trapped inside

Did you read it to the end? 🤤
