Jimmy is cool but Nicola promised not to out him so did she tell Jimmy or did Nathan? Robbie didn’t blink when Jimmy apparently knew he was gay and dating Nathan yet it doesn’t seem right that someone chose to out him without his knowledge even if Jimmy seems like a nice guy. I mean I didn’t expect him to know and when he mistakenly said girls must like his accent I thought he didn’t until he realized his mistake. I’m surprised this didn’t bother Robbie since he’s never even met the guy but you know he must be nice when Nathan thinks so highly of him when he could have only known him for a few days.

I was hoping Sue would be supportive and I expected her to have figured it out by now so overall her reaction wasn’t too surprising. I’m hoping Don will be supportive as well but he’s made it clear he’s uncomfortable with Nathan as well as comes off homophobic so we’ll see. One good thing that could come out of this injury is maybe the fact Robbie could have died will make Don more accepting of his sexuality due to just being grateful Robbie is alive. I’m wondering if the unexpected guests hinted at in the next chapter will be Tom and his family assuming someone contacted them about Robbie’s injury.

A brain injury can have an effect on one’s emotions so while I think he is acting irrationally I’d give him some leeway because of his injury. If he was thinking clearly I don’t think Robbie would be this angry over having to stay inside as it’s like he’s regressed a bit age wise though I’m sure it’ll improve soon. He already had a temper issue though so this could be all Robbie and not medical related though I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt plus I don’t blame him for feeling claustrophobic especially considering he was in a coma for days as he’s probably feeling like a prisoner right about now.

A fairly positive chapter though I don’t like Daniel & Nicola making jokes about Robbie’s memory as it’s just insensitive of them as it’s no joke. He seems to slowly be getting his memories back though and hopefully they’ll all return though I’m sure he & Nathan can make some new ones together.

Heh Robbie barely remembers Rory and is back to thinking he’s gay 😂. The memory issues are worrisome but I’m sure he’ll recover given time.

Wow a concussion, memory issues, and now a coma. Poor Robbie. This is a crazy way for him to come out as while Nicola may have been willing to keep it a secret I doubt Nathan could hide how he felt about Robbie given the situation.

Wow despite the hostility Jake was giving off I didn’t expect anyone to shove Robbie down the stairs though on a different note he should have had more self control as paying so much attention to his phone while going down stairs could have led to him falling regardless.

Well in the end it was more Nathan’s gaydar that was wrong rather than Robbie’s as while Robbie thought Rory might be gay it was Nathan who seemed certain he was gay because of the Bieber poster. I’m glad Rory is so accepting though maybe it was going a bit too far when Robbie was so honest as to admit he found him attractive as that made him uncomfortable at first until he found out Robbie has a boyfriend. Honesty is a great thing but you don’t have to say everything that’s on your mind.

While Daniel commented early on that Nathan harmlessly flirts with everyone he should have thought before acting now that he has a boyfriend. I can understand Robbie feeling insecure and I just don’t think it was appropriate for Nathan to flirt like that with Rory even more so when Nathan is fairly certain he’s gay as flirting with a straight guy is a bit more harmless than a gay guy who might actually develop an interest in him. I don’t think for a second Nathan would cheat but it just seems insensitive. I expected Daniel to realize the truth but I don’t know if it was from clues or school rumors spread by people like Jake as his attitude seems fairly recent. I don’t like the fact he seems pissed off because Robbie was already worried about him finding out so this just feeds his fear of coming out to his family.

Man I have a bad feeling from the way Robbie didn’t say no this time that he will end up meeting Alex’s brother at some point. You know getting help is typically a good thing in these situations but getting help from a drug dealer is not ideal in the least. Plus considering the last time he gave into peer pressure regarding drugs I’m worried about what will go down.

I know he doesn’t want to hurt Rory but boyfriends come first no pun intended though I like it 😂 and Alex can jump off a cliff. The only real issue here is hurting Rory and while that’s bad he can’t skip out on his boyfriend especially after promising he’ll be there. If he goes to see Rory instead it’ll hurt Nathan especially now that they know he’s gay and if he lies about it while still going to see Rory it’ll come back to bite him. If he goes to see Alex....I think I’ll scream cause this kid will drive me up the wall if he makes that choice.

Thank goodness Robbie said he wasn’t going to Alex’s though he may change his mind. The last thing he needs is to be introduced to Alex’s drug dealer brother and tempted with beer & drugs. He has a bad habit of making poor decisions and things will not end well if he goes over there. Hmmm well I’m guessing the description of the next chapter is about Rory confessing his love but it could be Alex not that he would be telling the truth as it’s not in him to love Robbie.

Wow, Nathan is devious as first he said he didn’t know how to play poker and then Robbie learns he had an extra layer of clothing he was lying about lol. Very sneaky and smart. He may have been the virgin in this scenario but he seemed to have taken control of the situation pretty well.

🤣 this is hilarious but I can get where it was easy for Robbie to get the wrong impression until Nathan started talking about practicing. I thought ok either he isn’t talking about sex or he practiced using an inmate object 😂. Then when he mentioned his sister being ok with it as well as helping him practice I thought yep definitely not sex because all she might be able to do is give him blowjob tips and she doesn’t want him having sex so uh nope they’re not on the same page. I’m betting Karen taught him how to play well though he’s purposely stacking the odds in Robbie’s favor with his choice of clothing.

I don’t like Alex offering help because he seems like the type to have an ulterior motive and I definitely don’t like his interest in the identity of Robbie’s boyfriend. He’s either liable to try to scare the boyfriend off or attempt to seduce him though neither would work with Nathan.

I know it’s a stereotype but generally the feeling is those in drama are often more open minded regarding sexuality so maybe that plus the fact Nathan seems popular in drama will mean that what happened there won’t get leaked to the rest of the school. I don’t think Robbie likes being the center of attention otherwise drama might be good for him as he does have some skills in the area of acting though doing so onstage isn’t the same.

I don’t get how Don & Sue can say that they all want him as part of the family after Nicola went off like that in front of Sue as well as in hearing range of Don. Just like I believe Daniel once said, when Nicola was harassing them and walking into their room without knocking, they won’t do anything about her. She is supposedly irritated over Robbie receiving favoritism yet she clearly gets away with a lot of stuff most wouldn’t. Don is right about how in the past Robbie was trying to see how much he could get away with but now I think he’s just irritated to death with how Nicola treats him as well as gets away with treating him right under the noses of her parents so he lashes out in anger at her though this time it was mutual. I mean if nothing else most kids would get admonished for standing there grinning and gloating over the other getting in trouble yet not a word from Don. I’m not saying the foul language is appropriate but if I was used to saying it I’d react similarly when someone like Nicola pushed me that far. Honestly both Don & Sue disappoint me sometimes in their parenting style. Nicola seems....bipolar as she was upset about how Robbie was treated at school yet that’s the only time she’s shown much feeling about him besides jealously, anger, embarrassment, and worry that he would hurt her popular image. I don’t like how she shamelessly invaded his privacy and gave that lie about supposedly doing him a favor. I’m also thinking back to that moment when Robbie thought he was being paranoid when he accused Sue of looking through his stuff because they don’t trust him and wonder if Nicola has been going through his stuff. In her world everything tends to center around her and sadly everyone except maybe Robbie helps contribute to that delusion ranging from her parents letting her get away with this attitude to things like how Robbie remarks that both Daniel & Amy let her boss them around without saying much. Yes fighting with your siblings isn’t right but neither is being a doormat as Daniel is old enough to stand up for himself when she pushes him around. As I said in the past even though they’d label him a petulant brat I couldn’t be adopted into this family as things stand. You’ve got parents turning a blind eye, one parent who’s homophobic while you yourself are gay so you know that will result in friction when revealed, and you’ve got a cousin who doesn’t want you as her sister as well as does everything to give the impression she hates you. The main change will be his last name when adopted as his living situation would be identical so I see more cons than pros at the moment to officially becoming a member of this family. I’d have to hold off until Nicola either treated me better or my guardians got their eyesight fixed & grew some balls. Yes Robbie isn’t helping the situation but they can’t be this ignorant to what’s going on.

Jeez 😂 lines like this “Okay, you can do me now,” he said, and I nearly dropped the bottle. I must have looked a little confused. “Put cream on my back, dork.” show Robbie has a one track mind. Poor boy has a vivid imagination but I guess we all have dirty minds especially at that age.

The line ‘If it was Nicola, who walked in on us, then it would have reached China by now’. seems fairly accurate so I’m glad she’s still in the dark so far though he needs to come clean with his family. I like that Karen is so supportive if a bit hypocritical as I doubt she was a virgin at their age but you know the old saying do what I say not what I do. I agree they shouldn’t jump directly to having sex and from the way he’s been acting I think Nathan feels the same way not that they will hold back for very long. Firstly because they’ll be more accepting if overprotective they need to come out to Nathan’s parents as maybe that would help Robbie come out to his own family. Then Robbie needs to come out to his family...though I dread Don’s reaction as well as potentially Nicola’s reaction. I’m not saying Sue will jump up and down in excitement yet I think she’d be ok with it. Mary due primarily to her young age will probably jump for joy when she finds out he’s dating Nathan as she clearly loves him. Daniel may need time to adjust to the news but I won’t be surprised if he already knows. If he doesn’t know he’ll probably think he was an idiot for not realizing it sooner.

I think Robbie could come out to Sue as I think she may know already but if she does I don’t like her saying she thought Fran was good for him as that could imply she hoped Fran would result in him being/becoming straight. In the end I think she would be supportive and I think Daniel would be too though he may already know as well. Daniel isn’t stupid and Robbie can be a bit obvious sometimes so while any other straight guy might not notice the clues Daniel grew up with Nathan as his friend so he’s probably more aware of the subtle clues that shows Robbie is gay. Amy seems like it obviously wouldn’t bother her but then there’s the two unknowns to contend with. Don has showed clear signs of being homophobic and Nicola seems to hate him for existing so I can see him not wanting her to know not to mention I’m not 100% certain she doesn’t take after her father in regards to her views on gays. I don’t think she’s homophobic but it’s hard to be certain sometimes though giving her any ammunition against him is a bad idea.

I don’t see how Robbie can hide the truth for very long. Nathan breaks down all his barriers and everyone is going to know he’s in a good mood. I’m sure they’ll find out he’s not dating Fran anymore soon enough and that’s going to make them wonder why he’s so happy. Daniel isn’t stupid and Nicola is....Nicola so one if not both of them will be the first to figure it out I’m sure. Then there’s Nicola’s friend who saw them together when everyone thought he was out with Fran so she’ll get a hint pretty quick that something is going on which she will no doubt hound him about as nosy as she is.

Uh oh Nathan is already a little upset about his drunk night with Fran as he’s suspicious something sexual happened so I don’t want to imagine how he’ll react when he finds out Robbie is modeling for her in the nude. It’ll make Nathan a little nervous but he should tell him before he finds out from another source not to mention the longer he waits to tell him the more suspicious he’ll be. If it weren’t for Fran knowing they were together I’d suggest Nathan be present during the sketching & painting but I doubt Robbie wants Fran to know he’s dating Nathan plus Fran might not agree to having him present.

Hmmm Robbie was already feeling torn up when Nathan seemed a little blasé about him not going to his birthday party and now this twist. I can understand Nathan’s wording though because Robbie hasn’t asked him out so he isn’t Nathan’s boyfriend and hopefully the theory that Daniel thinks Nathan has a boyfriend is because of some way he was acting at the party like calling Robbie during it rather than some boy attending the party that seemed to be his boyfriend is true. Of course even if this is the case Robbie might not realize this and still get all upset. It’s his own fault if Nathan found a boyfriend while he was in denial but still I feel sorry for Robbie if that’s the case.

I can’t stand Nicola and I don’t get how her parents are so blind. @Dodger says her issue is she sees Robbie getting away with stuff that she can’t get away with but I swear she’s said stuff within hearing range of Sue that should make it obvious how much she dislikes him plus she’s all the time getting on his case in front of them, making crude innuendoes most children would get in trouble for despite her age, etc...so she gets away with plenty herself. Heck Don cracked a joke early in the story that if Robbie had any questions about sex he should ask Nicola which I mean I’m sure they know they can’t stop her plus I’m sure she’s old enough to make her own decisions about sex but most parents wouldn’t joke about their kid being knowledgeable about sex especially their daughter. It sounds childish but I would tell them I changed my mind about the adoption as it won’t really change anything living situation wise but will make him officially Nicola’s brother so I would make my argument that until she wants me in the family that I wouldn’t legally be apart of it. Maybe then the parents would wise up to her actions but they’d probably just label him a brat. I don’t think his punishment was unfair by any means as getting drunk was just plain stupid especially considering he went there to talk with his ex as it could have gotten ugly. I fully expected Fran to out him to her brother and Maria while drunk though she did hint at it. I do think though despite his language that demanding he apologize to Nicola is unreasonable especially with that bull that it hurt her feelings. They know their daughter well enough to know she wasn’t crying or upset over what he said just pissed off. I also see both sides regarding the trust as seeing Sue look for drugs and hear Don blandly tell him that he called the police must have hurt yet at the same time it’s somthing any parent would likely do if they could. Sounds like the family has connection with everyone which would make me feel paranoid even if I wasn’t doing anything wrong as it sounds like they would know almost everything going on with their connections at the school & police.

What else is he supposed to tell Fran? Does she want every detail of all the gay sex he’s had because besides not telling her Alex’s name he’s told her everything she needs to know. Yeah he lied about when he had sex with Alex but I don’t blame him for that plus Alex will lose it if he drops enough clues that she figures out it was him. Heck considering how she and Nicola both find it weird they are friends at all as well as the way Alex ignores him most of the time at school it shouldn’t be hard for her to guess something might have gone on between the two of them. I really don’t like Nicola and I really wonder if she has feelings for Fran considering how she thinks he’s too good for her as well as how she’ll probably go off on him when she finds out they’ve broken up. I don’t trust Fran and I don’t think he should go to her house as once again I don’t know what they’re supposedly going to talk about. We’ll see what drama unfolds.
