No, Loren has no shared about Lars to anyone but those close to him. That's a can of worms he wasn't willing to open. And going forward, it would definitely be something discussed between the two.

I used to use a lot of ellipse. They have their place, don't get me wrong, but I've happily moved on from our close knit relationship.

Dismal is a great description of his life after Loren. Living with guilt of the separation, all the while being lied to and manipulated. Loren had a fighting chance, Lars didn't.

Yes. I think once Loren told him the truth, the pieces started clicking into place. I bet a lot of things didn't make sense, didn't seem right, but now it does.

Not coming across as a jerk at all. These are totally valid questions. If you come at it from Lar's perspective, he was 7 when it all went down. He doesn't know any better. It's not in wheel house to assume his parents could/would lie about this. They have him cut off from the rest of the world, sheltered, so all he knows is what they tell him. Regarding Loren still being friends with the gang. Well, Loren' ran away' from his family, a family that had made him feel like crap. So it's not unreasonable that Loren would go back to his friends while not going back to the family. ETA: Loren and crew started filming when they were 13ish? so that's still 6 years after he ran away. That is a long time to circle back to his friends

After reading some comments, I was confused. I had more written about the two years that Lars was left behind. I have NO IDEA what happened. I accidently deleted it during the editing process? I'm so bummed. Added a small blurb to fill the hole but, but it was never intended to be left so vague. SORRY

I actually was going to do an epilogue of Aidan going to college. I was thinking a storyline of him having a crush on his roommate but @kbois shut it down because she said it was too gross to see Aidan seeing boys like that
