    I think there are some really valid and insightful points. Right or wrong, Loren has to learn to deal with these feelings in real time. He has to face them head on and, in this case, be challenged with the consequences. He will come around, but will it be in time?

    Wonderful interview, Jacob! I think stories based on actual events are so fun to read because they have a depth that can only be achieved through real experiences. Having grown up in a region where marching bands are not a big thing (from a school where it didn't exist) I find your story so fascinating! I do hope you decide to keep writing. There are never enough stories.
