The rain beat brutally against the windows as it fell in sheets from the dark and dreary morning sky. Yes, it is just being shitty parents, but it's hard for a queer child to not be extra sensitive in this kind of situation given the fear they live in as they come out. The saving grace is that Seamus doesn't have much respect for his parents, so the sense of loss is a lot less. That doesn't mean he isn't longing for that kind of relationship.

It truly is. A happy Seamus attention seeking Aidan is very relatable. Who doesn't want to come home to someone who loves you as much as Aidan loves Seamus? Especially knowing how much Seamus's heart wants that for himself.

I let my kids eat dirt to their heart's content. They're currently raising some baby chicks. They've been pooped on so many times they think they know what it's like to be a parent. I'm glad Matt could throw you for a loop, in a good way. He's making strides in his own way.

I don't even know all the things we've lost because our kids are soooo helpful lol. And no, I don't want to imagine a pancake under water. The only thing I want my pancake saturated in is syrup and butter. I believe it about the dirt. It builds character and immunity. That's what I tell my kids anyway.
