I too shy away from stories in progress because it breaks my heart when they don't get finished. If it's worth anything, I don't start posting until I'm done with the story. This will be posted to completion as long as I'm breathing and have internet access.

Matt was definitely wingmaning for Kase a few chapters back when he wanted to hook up with Laura. He then went to a gay club for Matt and ended up being straight bait. Him and Hilary will definitely end up happy (not with eachother, though. ewww. Gross)

The rain beat brutally against the windows as it fell in sheets from the dark and dreary morning sky. Yes, it is just being shitty parents, but it's hard for a queer child to not be extra sensitive in this kind of situation given the fear they live in as they come out. The saving grace is that Seamus doesn't have much respect for his parents, so the sense of loss is a lot less. That doesn't mean he isn't longing for that kind of relationship.

I let my kids eat dirt to their heart's content. They're currently raising some baby chicks. They've been pooped on so many times they think they know what it's like to be a parent. I'm glad Matt could throw you for a loop, in a good way. He's making strides in his own way.
