They found the laptop. I think there was some speculation that it would be in that car, clearly, it was a good spot. Now if only they can get into the damn thing. i’m so glad Elijah has Tyler through all this. now maybe we see some Hybrid action? I mean, it will definitely help Elijah take his mind off the loss of the love of his life that @kbois killed off in such an unfortunate way. Just sayin….

Oregon here. Week after Labor Day until mid June. I always thought this was pretty typical. I kind of wish we had year round school, with a shorter summer but longer breaks between.

Just remember, this is a trilogy series. There’s still a lot more to happen. My favorite character was casted out in the first story, and I have to wait until the third for any sort of reservation. And I’m not a patient person.

Every reader gets to make their own choice. No one is forced to read what they don’t want. Sometimes things happen that we don’t want, doesn’t mean it’s not for the better of the story. Kbois has a rhyme and a reason. This is not happening just for fun or to illicit some sort of reaction. There is purpose.

Doesn’t matter if I had 6 months, this entire chapter was just 💔💔💔 It’s the kind of chapter you don’t just “get over” because you read it before everyone else. I’m still not done with the stages of grief. im stuck at anger.

When I recently went over @Mancunian Anthology, it turned out our word systems were not compatible. Something I have never experienced before. When I saved it, it essentially turned all my suggestions into permanent changes and only left my comments for them to accept or decline. I felt terrible because it made it impossible to compare their original work to what I was suggestions. It probably made me look bossy AF, like, you MUST ACCEPT MY SUGGESTIONS. Tech fail for sure!! Sometimes you’re asked to Beta/edit, as @Carlos Hazday had asked me a few months back, and the product is practically flawless and your left feeling like, what am I supposed to do here? Grasp at straws? Don’t mind if I do! Lol

I also wanted to comment, that for my first story, I did have someone edit it (you’d never know by reading it). I was new and didn’t know much about the process. The trust is, although they caught a lot of edits, they did a TON of reformatting that made the story very difficult to follow. I haven’t re-edited that particular story since I posted it, but part of me wants to just to fix that. What I’m trying to say is, sample their work if you’re not familiar with it. You don’t have to accept someone’s help just because they offer. I learned the hard way. You also don’t have to accept all their suggestions. Kbois is always trying to edit out my coconuts drinks. DECLINE!

It’s so important to have more than one pair of eyes on a story. Even when you have two extra sets, things still get missed!!j Anyway, a recent memorable one was from my latest story. Jay and Loren were in Mexico with their friends and Aidan got Loren to give him a ride around the pool. I had this great vision of Aidan feeling like he was the king as Loren swam like a dolphin. Like Poseidon on his peasant dolphin. What I wrote was “ Poseidon on his pheasant dolphin. Oh. @kbois had a field day with that one. “Half bird, half dolphin? From water to the sky?”
