C'mon, of course they are. They're young, 22-23y old. There is a lot happening in their lives. Of course they're in over their heads. That doesn't mean they won't succeed, but in the last couple of months-ish Elijah got kidnapped while undercover, lost his parents, lost Kage, and now he's tasked with rescuing hybrids, of which his first attempt was unsuccessful. That is a lot to handle for anyone, especially a young adult who had a pretty cushy life. LIke I said, he doesn't mean he's not capable of victory, but he still susceptible to errors and human emotion that we know screws things up lol. He needs a damn minute lol

Elijah is traumatized, so I doubt he's like "lets talk about all the details." He just needs to confirm it's Neall and that he's dead. If I walked in on that, I wouldn't want to debrief all the details. He's not trained for that. Still...lots of curious questions.

Also, where the f*k did the Kenneman go?! If it is Neall, did he get scared and leave town? Very curious. Maybe he's just the kind of guy that thinks he's untouchable and doesn't give a rats ass about anything...or anyone. Clearly.

Mental health is not usually a high priority in Shifter Stories. Wolves are supposed to "be fine" all the time. I appreciate that Sebastian takes such great care of his team. It's a genuine act of kindness and the reason he will be the best Alpha of Alpha's.

Are we sure it's actually Neall? Elijah hightailed it out of there pretty fast. And in hybrid form, how could he be sure? What if the guy had somehow acquired more hybrids? It would explain why he doesn't value them as much. Regardless, I would have probably reacted the same as Elijah. Nothing can prepare you for seeing your first dead body. Which is why we can't trust what he saw. Shock does weird things to a person. Tyler is a great friend. He really supported Tyler. We need to know more about Tyler's dreams. It's been bugging me. Pulling at my spidey senses.

Ugh. Don't bring up Grissom. He's like Gibbs (NCIS) to me. I like them at first but then they're NEVER wrong about anything and always solve things before anyone else. It's unrealistic and frustrating. Also, they both think the rules don't apply to them.

Exactly. I enjoy sitting back and watching all the speculating. Followed by Kbois Dm'ing me "HOW DID THEY GUESS????" even though no one knows if they're guess was right lol. If anything, I'll try and use comments to throw people off. If it works or not is another thing.

The assumption is that it is Neall. There has been no intel given that this ass-hat has any other hybrid or hostage in his possession. But, if we read chapter 27 and Kbois proves us wrong, then we go from there. I always comment based off my initial response to the chapter and never based off what I know is to come. Besides, there is no fun in giving stuff a way. The best part of stories is living in the moment and feeling the emotion. We must let the story unfold naturally.

If they went after the newer abductions first, and this is the (assumed) outcome, then what hope do we have for the older pups????!!! Should Elijah have fought for what his gut was telling him??? Regardless, the poor pup. He was just a kid. This is no life. This is not how his life should have ended.
