As I remember reading. Gavin did get along with his family except his brothers. So how did or what did Henry tell Gavin's parents or for that fact his own parents. Although I'm sure Henry could just tell his parents they broke up.

I knew the last couple chapters we were gonna lose Gavin, but was truly hoping not to. What will come of Henry? What will he say to his and Gavin's parents? 😓

Loving this story, Loved the Sermon, I too watched Boy Erased and although I liked the movie, I was also pissed how anyone can treat another human being like that. Not to mention suicide. Fortunately it wasn't the Preachers kid, unfortunately it was someone else's.

Save Me!! Yes it's finally time. I can't believe it's taking me over 2 months to read this 30 chapters. I almost gave up several times during the first 12 chapters, but I'm glad I stuck with it. This weekend it finally got to where I couldn't put this story down because I got so involved in it. I managed to read the last 18 chapters in two days, but as much as I had trouble reading this it must have been hard for the Author to write after seeing it's taken 9 years to get 30 chapters written. I'd like to say Thank-You for bringing this story to life. Looking forward to see what happens next for Zack. Keep up the great work.

Another great chapter Wayne. Excellent job covering every one's battles, although there is more to come I'm sure. As for Elias Raven for Jeremy and the project, I like the idea of Elias finishing and giving it to Jeremy. However, I'm not keen on it being auctioned it off. I would like somehow people see it and how it was made by a child from the Raven project. A organization that helped keep a child, to put him on a road to the start of a better life, and given Elias a few friends and showed him Love & Respect. Maybe showing off the Raven and telling of Elias story can help getting more funding for the Raven Project. The Don might even be able to commision Elias to make him one convince the The Don to help fund the project. Looking forward to the next Chapter and to see how things turn out for Harlan and Gary.

I think I'm gonna have to re read guardian because I can't remember much of Harlan. Whether he's good or bad mostly.

I don't feel Elias was or is responsible enough for emanciation yet. I think guardianship in this case was best for him. Maybe a year down the road he can try again. Right now he needs to work on getting mentally and physically healthier. I believe the guys and the Campground can help with that as well as Jeremy. Elias needs to focus on his education and being a teenager and enjoy life which he hasn't had an opportunity in his past. Good Luck Elias.

My heart goes out to Danny. He needs to be with Stephen and Lewis. I hope when his grandparents find out he's gay they don't want nothing to do with him living there. I know that sounds mean, but he's got people that actually Love him and would never lock him in his room. I'm a firm believer that if you treat a child badly you'll do it again. If they'd really cared for him they'd have got they history on Daniels abuse before forcing him to stay with him. I also believe Social Services (CYS) should have informed the grandparent's of the abuse Daniel suffered. That poor kid has been enough and why start him school for 2 weeks if your not sure how it's gonna work out.

I believe your right, and have a feeling that's the last kiss Sonny will ever get as well. I don't remember him in Shelter so I'm assuming he didn't make out of Hillside. Poor Kid.
