  1. I notice you don't deny it, lol. But, here's the deal, you stop nuking and harming the wonderful creatures on our planet and I won't mention your height, or lack of it, again. 🤔
  2. What constitutes a harpoon to a man of your size, or lack thereof, is in reality a dart to those of us of a larger stature. Which will just be shrugged off by any whale, sorry to burst your bubble.
  3. Don't you mean, little meanie
  4. 168 cm. Hmm, little guy syndrome.
  5. I don't need it, maybe you do. By the way how tall are you?
  6. Can you really count that high, or are you just guessing?

    Chapter 7

My heart goes out to Bryan, he's in an awkward and very difficult position. He's trying to come to terms with his feelings and trying to explain it to Kenny too. It's not going to be easy, Kenny needs to have some patience and understanding, but they are both young and still developing emotionally as well as physically. I don't see their situation being resolved without some adult intervention before things go beyond the point of return, that's if it hasn't gone that far already. I've got my fingers crossed that at least their friendship is recoverable. Feelings and non-feelings about the funeral are running high with Caleb and Bryan. I hope they both get what they want and need, from it. The possibility of their Mum's relatives being there is putting a strain on Caleb and possibly Bryan. If they are there it will probably have an affect on the boys, let's hope the relatives can be sensitive and responsible about everything. 🤞
  8. Now that I can do. 😄
  9. Sorry Albert I don't drink alcohol, I'll stick to Pepsi, but thanks for the offer.
  10. Need help, sis? I am perfectly sane! And you prove me right again, at least you could try using your young age as an excuse, it probably won't work but you could still try. Never mind we will make allowances for you.
  11. I can help make and eat them lol,
  12. I'm immortal, I don't suffer ailments that afflict you peasants. Yes. Definitely not wise, probably still young and impetuous, yeah I got it right this time.
  13. What, so now your old and wise?
  14. Is it true that there was make-up involved too?
  15. I hope you have something to take to help get rid of it. I use sumatriptan for my migraine, and it always works.
  16. I, of course, am Prince Charming.
  17. and Drew plays the part of big bad witch, unless this is Cinderella, then he plays the part of the evil step-mother, lol
  18. I thought it was a permanent panto in here lol

    Chapter 6

That rushed hug Bryan gave Steve, may seem insignificant to some, but the reality is that that small step could be the beginning of a better relationship between them. It may never be a deep relationship but it would be better than it is now. I like that Steve has planted the seed for ideas to grow for Bryan, that way Bryan can feel that he has something positive without feeling pushed into doing it. The more I hear about the sperm donor and the brood bitch, sorry that's how I see them, the more I despise them for what they have done to Bryan and Caleb. The brood bitch is gone, hopefully, the sperm donor will follow shortly, but not before the boys get the answers they deserve.

    Chapter 4

This is why I and other readers are liking this story. You are reflecting real-life and real-life issues in a fictional story and making the story feel real.

    Chapter 2

I like the fact that you writing about real-life issues, that is a big part of the attraction to the story, and you appear to be dealing with them in a real-life way which I like.

    Chapter 1

You have started the story well, in my opinion, although you consider it long, I think this chapter serves well as a prologue to the story. Basing a character, or some of their traits, on real people often helps to bring the character to life, you have done that well. Judging by the other comments left, you have attracted a readership that wants to read this story to its conclusion.

    Chapter 5

Bryan and Caleb have a good supportive relationship, one that has room for brotherly banter and is good to see. Bryan needs to figure out what he wants his relationship to be with Kenny, his actions contradict his words. Although Bryan acknowledges that his relationship with Kenny is more than friendship he avoids saying what their relationship is, for someone as sensitive as Kenny that could ruin the friendship that Bryan values. At the very least he needs to speak to Diego to help put things into perspective. All of the time Bryan is suppressing his anxieties and feelings. If he keeps suppressing them and the other issues he has then becomes more serious, as there is a danger that they could affect his emotional and mental well-being in the future, possibly making him a danger to himself. Bryan's curiosity about his biological father is natural. Many children in foster care and those that have been adopted, through no fault of their own, want answers to questions that can only be answered by biological parents. Not all of them get those answers. Nice story development with changes in pace that allows for incidental detail to be added.

    Chapter 4

There are some good healthy family dynamics at play in this chapter, which is great to see, for any child this is essential to well-balanced development. For Bryan and Caleb, this will be even more important. We haven't seen much yet on how Caleb has been affected by his past, but we are seeing some of how Bryan has been affected. In many respects, Bryan shows all signs of being a perfectly normal physically healthy and mentally well-adjusted teenager. Then other signs show through that are probably just the tip of the proverbial iceberg, they show that Bryan has emotional and mental health issues that do need professional help. I understand that Bryan is against therapy, as most teenagers are, which should prompt Diego to look into what alternative forms of therapy/counselling are available, there may be something out there that they haven't found yet. If there is it may be more acceptable to Bryan, although I do understand that there is no guarantee of this when fickle teenagers are involved. I'm liking this story more as the characters and their storylines develop, it feels real and plausible which is the essence of a good story.
