The UK left the European Union, not Europe that is geographical. Anyway I'm not claiming them, I'm protecting Clo's right to do so. I'm sure my friends will agree with me if I give them a call. 😛

I just watched Sam Ryder, I have to say that the dance troupe that performed for him are inspirational
-
All Europeans are protected and cannot be claimed by Non-Europeans

Hey that wasn't meant in any bad way, that is just how frazzled my brain is right now.
-
I don't know why but for some reason I read that as Dog-Emperor

I've just gone back to look at what I've written and all I could do was add more to expand on it and it's still no more than a chapter! What the hell I'm going to finish it no matter how long it gets, it's going to be while before it's done and ready to post.

gulp .... 😧

Is there a wheel with better options?

To be fair to Drew, although I may be criticised for that, I feel like my brain has been drained. I started writing what I intended as a short story and now it seems to be growing into something much bigger. What I've written would qualify as only one chapter, I don't know if I should continue or scrap it and start again. < inside that head is a frazzled brain

Are you sure you didn't drain your brain at the same time

Hi Albert, I've watched a few more of the videos that you have been posting, thanks for introducing them to us, they are interesting. They have been a welcome distraction from writing, but now I need to get back to finishing what I started. 😃

A lot of loose ends nicely tied up in this the final chapter of this story. Yes okay the loose ends were tied up without too much detail, but that does leave them open to be expanded on in the later stories promised by Carlos and I'm sure he will deliver, those brief explanations are merely teasers for the stories yet to come. I'm guessing we will hear more from Jay as I don't think he will like being shut down again, especially with the 'important' connections that he thinks he has, they are no match for CJ's connections lol. A great read and I'm already looking forward to the next story in the series.

In the article that I read it does state that there are no clues as to the type of relationship that was being referred to, it went on to say that at the time of recording homosexuality was illegal as were interracial relationships, it was during the time that segregation was practiced and on the statute books. Because of the laws of the time and the fact that it has never stated what relationship was being referred to it could be interpreted in many different ways. The montage refers to one way in which it could be interpreted. We will never know what the 'secret' relationship was, we can only speculate. In all fairness I will say that I do not claim to know, nor can I speculate, what relationship is being referred to. The montage was compiled and put to the song by gaytwogether.com, this website is no longer in existence so no explanation is available from them.

I come across this while reading an online article, I like it and like others, I wonder if it could have been one of the first songs in support of gay relationships. May be it was, may be it wasn't, but set to this montage of 1950's photo's it comes across in a good light. Recorded by Jimmie Rodgers back in the 1950's.
-
It was featured in an article on the website of a local organisation. The singer Jimmie Rodgers recorded it back in the 1950's. The photo montage was put together by www.gaytwogether.com, if I come across any more I'll post a link.

The online article I was reading lead me to this YouTube video, what do you think of it

Thanks Albert, I've had a couple of close shaves in the past but overcome them, one time was my own fault as I my head wasn't in the right place and I was stupid. But I've got my head back on right now and physically although I need treatment I'm not too bad. I'll be around for a while yet, I've still got a lot to do and there are others that depend on me, it's not much but I'm now doing one night a week at the shelter and I love it.

There's quite a large backlog on many hospital waiting lists which has been the case for a long time, unfortunately covid has only made things worse and now with a lot of medical staff taking industrial action it's not helping matters. In the case of this particular doctor although he is good at his job he is always an asshole with most of the patients. One of the nurses did tell me that he is close to losing his job, the only reason he still has his job is the shortage of qualified doctors in the NHS. If I get approved to go on the list it's likely to be a long wait and it will be the last time I can go on the list as it will be my third time which is a rare thing to happen.

Hi Spike, I'm having a relaxed chill afternoon and just read an interesting article on line, I might do a blog entry about it. But unfortunately this morning was frustrating having to argue with the hospital doctor when he tried to postpone my dialysis again. I've had to stand my ground as he just seems to be disregarding the implications of delaying treatment. Cutting my sessions down by half is not doing me any good, but he now see's things my way after threatening complaints and legal action. The good thing is that when I saw his boss, the consultant, I got told that they are looking into the possibility of another op and boosting up the list, I've got my fingers crossed 🤞

This is an insightful tale of a young man who, against his own ideas, is taken by his parents on a short holiday to the delightful town of Ravello on the Amalfi Coast. During his brief visit Reza discovers a few truths about himself that he previously was not aware of. Totally against his preconceived ideas of what this break would be like he ends up being enthralled by the beauty of his surroundings, maybe that is why his guard was down when he met Otto and discovered more about himself than he thought possible. It's not what we have become accustomed too from previous tales from the Ravello series, but it fits in well with its relaxed atmosphere and way of life. A delightful read that I recommend, a good stand alone tale as well as being a good addition to the series it is worthy of a five star rating.

Silver bullets, loaded with spiders 🤔
-
Even Achilles and Superman had their weak spots, I'm sure that yours can be found, and I still have enough silver to make bullets, I may supply the Gendarmes.
-
The French may also see it as an act of war, in which case the gendarmerie may shoot him
-
For those who haven't read this story I say that you should read it, you don't know what you're missing out on. This is another story in the Ravello Series and it does not disappoint. A summer of teenage woes, worries and tensions that will take you on a ride with more ups and downs than any fairground ride can, don't forget your tissues, they will be needed. Enjoy this summer of adventures as Dani discovers his true 'super power', healing friendships. I recommend this story but remember, your heartstrings will definitely be tugged in many different directions.
