  1. It's hit the UK too, the Channel Islands and the south coast have had the worst of it. Apparently it is now travelling north over the rest of the UK, but hopefully weakening as it goes north 🤞
  2. All accurate as written in Drewth. Did anyone realise that Drew's alter-ego is Walter Mitty
  3. I want to be your neighbour, the one you always invite for dinner because you make some seriously gorgeous meals. How do you do it?
  4. If you can lower the resolution of the picture that may help, lower resolution pictures are a smaller file size. If that's not it then I'm stumped, it will need one of our more tech-savvy friends to figure out the answer. Sorry Albert, I'm at a loss for any other answers.
  5. I know it's frustrating. What it means is the picture file is too big. You need to adjust the settings on the picture file so that it is smaller. Sometimes just cropping the picture will do the job.
  6. I'm running on empty now guys so I'm off to bed to recharge. Goodnight, god bless and love to you all
  7. The twist was the race reversal, All of the parts played by white actors in the film were played by actors of colour on the stage, and the parts played by actors of colour in the film were played by white actors on the stage. For me, this twist enhanced the story and made it more relevant and enjoyable. Every actor on that stage tonight earned and deserves respect for their outstanding performances. Simply, they were brilliant.
  8. You're probably right, I do have some really wonderful friends and they mean the world to me. I would do anything for any of them. Thank you for helping to clear my head.
  9. Yes, it is. This stage production had a twist to it as they did a complete race reversal in the roles which I think was great. The actors were first-rate and gave it their all, you could see that they were enjoying themselves performing the play. The lad that played Jamie was particularly good and, for me, stole the show. None of them are big-name actors, but I wish them all success in this play and with their futures, they all deserve it.
  10. I've been sitting here after a night at the theatre, going through many notifications with tears in my eyes. It doesn't make sense to me. My friends have been very supportive over the last month after particularly nasty events left me totally distraught. What happened left me badly shaken and ruined my Birthday earlier this month. But my friends were patient. They got together and insisted they take me out tonight. I was taken out to the theatre to a stage adaptation of the film A Beautiful Thing. They know it is one of my favourite films. It was a great night out, and the play was brilliant. I really enjoyed it. I feel good, but why do I also feel tearful? I don't want to spoil the memory of tonight, it was special. So why do I feel like this?
  11. If you sign out and then sign back in it might let you post your pics, it sometimes works for me
  12. I don't know why that would happen, hopefully it will sort itself out.
  13. He attended before Drew influenced and corrupted the administration.
  14. I'd have to argue the facts here, if you're sane then there are two of us. I'm perfectly sane, I even have a letter from my therapist to prove it. lol
  15. If it's freshly ground, I'll have a coffee, thank you
  16. Nah, I think Max should wear one of these
  17. Hi Terry, all's good here thanks, I've just had my seasonal flu and jabs and I'm feeling better each day. I hope you and Aod have a good weekend
  18. Hi B, I hope the weather is treating you well
  19. Aloha Albert, I hope you enjoyed your Birthday night out with Steve
  20. It could be worse, it could be Spew, which could be more fitting lol and it is sometimes a bit sickly 🤮
  21. I'll be looking out for this one
  22. By keeping and using it you honour your Mother and that is a beautiful thing to do.
  23. Gary, I love the story and I appreciate you sharing some of your precious memories of your many years with Sky. It makes me feel nostalgic for the times when my family had horses. I wish I could sit around a campfire with you and talk about each other's memories over a cup of campfire coffee, I know I would enjoy chatting with you. Take care my friend
  24. One thing I've come to realise is that the Drewth is never far away.
