I miss the hills, the music and sound, of my old Kentucky home. I yearn for days spent with kin around, with no urge or need to roam. Family and friends, they were everything, there's nothing truly to say, to help you hear the banjos that sing, the fiddles and voices play. I'll never again be welcomed there, I'm different now, and they know. But a bluegrass boy can dream and share, my love I can't help but show. Though feet can't my heart will go.

Thanks! I'm getting there. Yes, summer colds suuuuuck. But, I'm lucky. I have a job with sick leave, and I'm aware that it could be a lot worse.
-
Hahaha... yes, ma'am, a half-seat it is. We made wide use of vet-wrap on our farm. Handy stuff. How's the day treating you, Kitt?
-
I'm on the way, molly. Thank you. I've too much to do to be sick!
-
Good job getting it resolved, molly!

True. My father used to treat wounds on cattle with honey. Very effective. Though, we had to wrap them to avoid the treatment getting licked away!

Thanks, Mac. Pretty annoying when I have so many plans, work, and writing to do. But it's on the way out. I'll try the honey and cinnamon. As medicine goes, that's pretty tasty stuff. 🙂

Howdy, DiC. I've had a nasty headcold for the last two days. Leave it to me to get a cold during the Summer! But, I'm back in the saddle. Well, I'm about 65% back in the saddle. That'd probably be a weird, sideways ride, which is so suitable for my life overall. lol

Thanks, Tom. Oh, travis didn't expect Candice to be recruited by Mr. Branson. That was something he didn't see coming at all. All the more fun, eh? And we're everywhere. We really are. It's just a matter of if we want to be found or not. Thank you again for coming along on this one, Tom. It was a fun story to write.

Ah, travis will soon find out! 🙂 I've got other irons in the fire before I get busy on a sequel. I do NOT need yet another project! I have enough planned for the next two years already! Yep, a wren is a song bird. Imagine that - a main character named after a song bird, who has a nice voice, in a story with "Symphony" in the name. It's almost like I planned it! 😛 Thanks for reading, Danilo. I appreciate it.

Thanks, Jeffrey. Yeah, the central struggles are done for this tale (uncles and the mystery of Wren's father), but that's not to say there won't be more. Wren is not a common name at all. I knew one little boy growing up with the name, and I had always thought it was pretty. It must have stuck in my head! I'm glad you liked the story. Thanks for commenting and reading!

Thanks, Parker. It's easy to write about this place. I miss it quite a bit. I'm glad you enjoyed the journey.

Thank you, tim. And thanks for the help with selected scenes. I appreciate that!

Thanks for reading, and for the great comment, Jaybee. There are more stories to come, and sometime in the future, we may even revisit our little group here in the hills of Kentucky.

I'm happy that you traveled along with me on this journey with my two men. Thanks for your comments, and for reading!

Heh. Thanks, Tonyr. Maybe down the line.

Thanks, rick. I like leaving a few dangling questions in my stories. Beecher's ring, for instance. I appreciate your continued readership and support. It means a lot to know my work is valued by folks, so, thank you.

LOL. I'm not gonna comment on that potential title of the next one. Travis and Candice are paying for their session with Mister Branson. His purpose is to teach Travis how to be a submissive, and now to teach Candice on how to be a Dominant. That won't include sex between Branson or either of them (that'd be prostitution). Sex between Candice and Travis? Sure. Why not? 🙂 Yeah, poor Kyle. He's not the brightest. How do you think his brothers knew about him? He and Matt are slowly becoming a regular thing, and a few folks already know about this. Mostly, people just don't talk about it. The guys have support, and as their products get out there they'll have more and more of it. Maybe they don't have universal acceptance, but they will earn respect. In Kentucky, that'll carry you a very long way. Thanks for reading and commenting, droughtquake.

Thanks, Thorn. I think they make a good pair. Though, we've just gotten to see them start out in life, there are some unanswered questions about where they end up. Well, a fellow has to have room for an encore, should he wish. 🙂

This is a story of struggle, love, and persistence. A lot of research, care and heart went into writing this very human story, and you'd do well to read it. The challenges faced by the pair of men at the center, and those orbiting them are all very real. It's a great peek in at their lives, and I'm happy I got to share in their journey. Thank you, tim for the great story.

San Diego Finally, the day had come. Mister Branson was a busy man, and it took some time before Travis's appointment, but today was the day. Travis felt strange about the whole thing, and he had tried to talk himself out of it. To that end, he told Candice, his girlfriend, about his appointment with Mister Branson, and his growing realization that he was attracted to men in addition to women. Instead of rejecting him, Candice leveled a smoldering look at Travis. "Do you think he'd

It's a wonderful end to a wonderful story, tim. Well-written, with a lot of emotional moments. Thank you for sharing your talent, my friend.

That was a fantastic last scene between the guys. I could feel Louis's joy and surprise. Made me cry a little, damn it! I understand Harry, though I don't approve. And I know... Harry doesn't approve of himself either. He's allowing himself to behave in a way he's going to feel guilty over later. Yeah, I get it.

I love the flashback in this one. But, more, I like the olive-branch Louis extended to Miriam. He's a good man. She was decidedly awful to them, and he's willing to forgive her, and allow a place for her in their lives.
-
Awww... there's a lot of pain wrapped up in that prickly package of Miriam. But, what I'm left with here is Louis being ordered to make Don a sandwich. His husband has truly returned to him. 😉
