  1. I don’t think Tobyn is a bad guy, he just gets on my nerves lol. Like Kellar, I’m trying to be patient with the guy, but while reading I just can’t help but want to knock some sense in that sandy head of his, because his behavior can really get frustrating at times. So yeah, I totally can understand why many of us readers sympathize with Kellar instead of Tobyn. Kellar’s suspicion about the pack’s malaise makes perfect sense. The pack broke away from a system that is vital to their lives as wolves and creatures of Earth Mother. It’s like taking away meat as part of a lion’s diet.
  2. I hope this incident with the hunter will show Tobyn (and Kellar) that nothing good comes out of being separated from one’s earth mate. They both should feel lucky for finding each other and be grateful towards the Earth mother. They’ve been showing Her disrespect with their drama, maybe this close call with the hunter is Earth mother’s way of showing them that what she could easily give, she could also easily take away. The hunter in this chapter is definitely frightening and I’m glad Tobyn offed him in one strike. He deserved to die like that after the horrors he has done to the wolves. This goes to show that humans are definitely capable of being the scariest monsters. I’m not sure this is the last we have seen of those hunters though, since he mentioned his brother’s son living his life as a vengeance filled hunter as well.
  3. Tobyn can be frustrating sometimes. He has to understand that Kellar is new to all of these and he himself doesn’t exactly know for sure what’s happening with them and around them. Of course, the drama queen won’t be deserving of his crown without the “leaving abruptly and slamming the door on his way out” act. Here’s your crown, your royal stubbornness. 🤴🏼🤴🏼🤴🏼

    Chapter 16 Torture

Ah yes it was wrong of me to assume that Tilly would be the mean girlfriend stereotype. It was just that usually even the nicest of girls could become very nasty when possessed by the green eyed snake. Tobyn is really stubborn I wouldn’t be surprised if his name meant “hard headed” in ancient wolfspeak or something haha.
  5. I too sometimes find it hard to get a good night sleep, if Tobyn doesn’t want to pursue anything with Kellar, Kellar is welcome to sleep in my bed (I hope his giant body fits lol). Tobyn is such a drama queen in this chapter, it’s a bit annoying. But I’m guessing the earthmate thing is fucking up his hormones and mental state, and is making him really emotional. Congrats to Elinor for finding her earthmate.

    Chapter 16 Torture

I used to date a guy who was gay as fuck but still wanted to settle with a woman as his endgame because he wanted kids. I laughed at him and asked what he would do if his future wife wanted to have sex and his face made a disgusted expression. Tobyn reminded me of that ex, no matter how much they tell themselves that they wanted take a woman as their life partner, their facial expression and body language betrayed them, and it showed that it wasn’t what they truly wanted in life. I thought Tilly would be a villainous green-eyed girlfriend for this story so the break up really surprised me. I knew it was going to come sooner or later but I didn’t expect it to be immediate and sudden. So at least that was one obstacle down. Kellar, Kellar, Kellar. What a martyr, that guy.
  7. Kellar and Tobyn earthmates checklist: Undeniable attraction? Check. Sharper senses? Check. Can read each other easily? Check. Hates being separated? Checkcheckcheckcheckcheckcheck. You guys, just have sex already lol joke.
  8. Oh wow this chapter is packed with lots of information. I find Kellar’s name unique and I thought you named him as that just to be different and memorable. Finding out that both Kellar’s given name and surname have deep meanings adds more questions regarding his already mysterious origins. Maybe Kellar is some kind of a wolf messiah, and his mission and purpose in life is to restart and resurrect pack traditions and connections.
  9. Okay so I read nine chapters continuously, I’m already sleepy so I should probably rest and continue this tomorrow. I didn’t leave any comments from chapters 3 to 10 because once I was done with a chapter I would immediately carry on to the next one, but I did leave hearts ♥️♥️♥️ Kellar, Kellar reminds me of a giant tree and I would climb that tree like a squirrel looking for nuts lol. He’s gentle, strong, and very tall like a tree. If Tobyn wants to play house with Tilly (what an annoying name by the way) then it’s his loss. But I am sure Tobyn won’t be able to deny the attraction between them in the next few chapters because signs of them being earth mates are beginning to appear. They’re starting to recognize “smells” from each other that other wolves can’t smell so that minor detail seems interesting. I suspect Kellar’s healing powers isn’t random. He probably is a descendant of healer wolves or something. I’m glad they are able to heal Tilly’s sister, because now Tilly is indebted to Kellar and she has to give Tobyn to Kellar as a form of payment lol jk.
  10. Commenting a little too late from when the story was finished because I found this site only a year ago. But hey better late than never, right? Let me start with Carly, Carly was a perfect antagonist to this story. She was annoying, exasperating, and very easy to hate haha. I think not only did she have a very large attitude problem, she was also probably fucked up in the head so I would really suggest for her to talk to someone in the future regarding that. I’m glad that problems and the chaos that Carly had spun and created for the two lead men did not stop them from finding their way to each other’s arms. Damn what a mess she made! Like any of Gary’s stories, once again it was emphasized and reiterated how important communication was to any romantic relationships. It was always my main take away whenever I read any of his works. Talk! Open up! Be vulnerable with each other! Jared and Craig easily prevailed because of this.

I’ve always been a fan of your work ever since I stumbled upon GA, I just don’t leave comments that much because I find it hard to express my thoughts into actual words sometimes, and English isn’t exactly my first language. Bluegrass Symphony is my favorite work of yours btw! Keep up the good work and I will try to leave more comments on your stories in the future!!

I’m a non practicing Catholic, and I apologize for using religious references on a gay literature website over and over again haha.

Yes yes you did clue us in that Ian had an active sexlife in the breakfast scene. And I say good for him!!! There was no need for him to be celibate, well unless he was really gunning for that sainthood, you know just in case he and Shawn didn’t end up together lol kidding.

Oh my, Ian is such a martyr he’s probably going to be canonized by the Catholic Church as a fucking saint when he dies for all his selflessness. I don’t think I could do what Ian did. Not even for a piston-dicked, shaved head, hunk of a man. Good thing they both got what they wanted in the end, all’s well that ends well.
  15. I think Cam’s not gay. I’m not sure but I think he’s not lol.

    One Year in a Pot

I wasn’t expecting a 25th story because I thought there would only be 24 all in all. Had a little bit of a hard time following the narration because half of the time I was struggling to remember who’s who, but I did enjoy the story. It reminded me of my grandma and her wonderful cooking and recipes.
  20. I like it, I like it so much that I stopped reading and went to read Igneous first before I finished this one. I am so looking forward to seeing Gilbert and Hagan again.

I love good paper, too! As an illustrator I’m really picky with the paper I use and I make sure I have the right paper for every medium I use. I am a markers and polychromos kind of guy and I am always on the look out for special (expensive) papers for these type of materials. I can relate with your supplies collecting dust because mine, too lol! Most of my classes use digital illustration and I rarely get to play with my favorite trad art mediums. I’m so jealous of your unicorns! I have a unicorn print shirt and socks tho, and a keychain, too.

Oh I didn’t realize we’re talking about collections on the comment section. Hmmm I collect sketchbooks. I buy lots of them but I don’t even draw on them, they just sit on my table as a display or something. I’d love to start collecting unicorns or mermaids (I’m so gay I know) but I’m currently a broke ass art student and all my money goes to school stuff. Hopefully I can start soon.

When I was a wee little kid I used to tell my mom about the dwarves under my bed. My mom believed me because I described their appearance clearly and because I was too young to know what dwarves were. Mom said they were my tiny guardians who protect me from harm. I’m not sure if I was imagining things back then but I would like to think that I still have them as my guardians. Whenever I couldn’t find my keys or my pencil case I would just ask them for help and the item I misplaced would mysteriously appear somewhere near me.

I want more of these guys please write more about them. We were taught in school how to sign, but just like my Japanese class I skipped a lot of classes and learned very few words. I can say goodbye in Japanese and sign “bullshit” and that’s just about it lol. The funny thing was I was given an award at the end of the year for being the “Best in Japanese” in class. I was so confused as to how they thought I was deserving of that award but I accepted it anyway lol.
