i quite agree with you : sometimes i want to leave more than one reaction too. like you , most of the time i ended with the 👍 but never put 💣 because if the story is good enough that i read the whole chapter, then the author deserve at least a good reaction. if i don’t like the writing, then i mostly stopped after the first paragraph.

yes they started building it in 2003 but i don’t know if they finished it because some politicians of the city stole part of the money 🙈 (you know politicians are always greedy !)

that is the same Moses and MOSE is the italian acronym for that mechanical system which was supposed to save Venise, but i don’t remember if it really worked. i guess not since i saw this week in news that Venise got flooded again due to the biggest tide they had for years 🙈

yes blackberries thorns are vicious. i have some in my garden because i love eating them but need to be very careful with their thorns ! 🙊 Good that Greg have some medical trainings and happy that he made clear to Orson that they are here to tare care of each other 👍 Honestly i wouldn’t have thought that Elias needed an « asexual » healer 😃 And finally Orson and and Elias are going to heal each other ? nice put 😍 lol Mason should have there to take a pic of Jeremy’s face this is indeed a wonderful refuge for these... misfits (is it the right word ?)

Actually, for what i know after doing a few researches on the net, there is no king after the French Revolution, though there are 2 « Dukes » claiming for the crown : Jean d’Orleans (claiming to be Jean IV) and Louis-Alphonse de Bourbon (the one mentioned in this chapter, claiming to be Louis XX and not Louis VI who died long, long ago 😜). None of both would be able to be crowned : there is no chance that french people want to go back to monarchy again. Napoleon was not king but emperor because France was already a republic (anyway, he had no royal blood) awesome chapter 👍

i too would choose marinade 😜 and i agree with Mason : Jeremy’s father was so into drinking that he would anyway die because of it 🙈 i know i’m not being good but that’s simply the reality. Jeremy saved his father so many times that for sure his father’s fate was just a question of time. another well marinated chapter 👍
