Bravo. Perfect end indeed to what was from start to finish a perfect story. Adams first proper Christmas was another real eye opener for him, he was so overloaded with love it's no wonder he broke down. In time he will come to accept that having the unconditional love and support of Troy, his new family and all his friends, is the new norm. And of course to finally be able to give himself to Troy on his birthday, to show that love is returned fully, honestly, what more can you say. Thankyou for sharing Adams remarkable story with us, gonna miss all these guys but am happy they managed to overcome the odds and remain unbeaten.

OMG you guys crack me up, this has to be the funniest set of comments I.ve come across in any story on this site. As for the story, loving that too. I.m sure Adams muffins are delicious and he knows he's just being teased. Maybe it's time for another batch of coconut muffins. I think Troy is going to test the waters and see if Chris and Pauls house rules are for real. Could be an interesting visit.

Chalk up another great chapter. The nightmare had me worried, then I find out it was about zombies??? lol gotta read that story. I'm glad the boys were able to catch up and have some fun with Chris and Paul. I was surprised by Troys reaction to the football player and just as impressed. I feel for Chris and Paul, I gather they are quite a unique pair at their school and stand out enough to draw quite a bit of negative flak. Maybe they are on the endangered list and in even greater need of having a good support network, Troy and Adam are definite starters. I need to pay more attention to what people wear in movie theatres, not that I have time for movies....too busy reading.

And another great chapter, one of my favorites actually. I love the mom moments. Adam and mom spending quality time together and reinforcing their relationship has been so good for the both of them. Now that he's back at school they will miss their bonding time. Troy just dropped from 9 to 8 just for not liking coconut. Adam too hard on yourself...you're way more than a 7. Appreciate the story tip, will soon be needing more food for my voracious reading habits, feed me words. The boys wasted no more time getting back into the swing of things, their forced abstinance made their love more substantial and not just hormone fuelled teen sex. And when they do hook up their lovemaking isn't dirty, to me it's just warm, pure and innocent. I love these two together, they are just so perfect together....they get a combined score of 11 out of 10.

Another sweet chapter. New friends in the making, Troys' gaydar is on point. Seems word of our boys is spreading further afield, albeit the other side of town. For them to have such a positive impact in encouraging others to want to start up GSA clubs in their own schools is awesome. Hopefully the boys can be patient just a little while longer so Adam can make a fuller recovery, it will be worth the wait I'm sure. Thanks for another happy chapter, I'm just a little sad though cos there's not many left in this incredibly gripping and moving story.

OMG I'm still stuck on Pendant tyvm and can't remember what the chapter was about and too tired to reread it now but Im sure it was one of the best chapters thus far without any skullduggery. Oh thats right, when Troy started the ting tang I was wondering if that was another Americanism. Thank you Adam for clearing that up, you will probably make an awesome teacher. Wtg Mr. Edgars, that definitely answered one of my earlier questions. This has been a wicked ride, thanks for the wee breather though.

Well after a collective sigh of relief. I too had forgotten all about Diamond, so many buttsores its hard to keep track of them all. Not sure if it's something they do but wondered if the DA's office might have notified the Connellys about Mikes death since it would have had a major impact on their case, not that it would have made much difference in this incident. Just pleased noone was seriously hurt and Mr, Edgar will be ok. He was indeed a very brave man and his quick thinking enabled others to be evacuated safely. It was indeed fortunate Adam was home recovering at the time all this went down. Sometimes they can catch a break in the most unexpected ways. Not sure how I feel about Mikes death, will have to read on to see if there's a story there.

I suspect they are beginning to wonder if they should move! The town does seem to have more than its fair number of repressed people. " This town needs an enema...." I was thinking Kyles note seemed a bit cryptic, in particular the 1984 reference. That kind of automatically elicits big brother is watching. Adam seemed to dismiss the note so I did till this happened.

Glad to see Adam has overcome yet another hurdle and is on the mend, doubtless his recovery will go a lot faster now that he is back home and close to Troy again. I'm actually surprised the witch actually turned up at all, thought she didn't care. Then again, I think it was the ministers idea to visit, maybe as someone suggested they thought they might have a better chance at corrupting Adam while he was in a weakened state. Wish they would just do the decent christian thing nad turn the other cheek and keep it that way. I'm not sure if we've seen the last of them so maybe as droughtquake has suggested, time for the restraining order....best get on to Marvin. Now all they have to do is survive the week.
-
Same here, but I'll make an exception for Mike Daubney, the witch, possibly Jason and maybe any other fekker that comes along and screws with our boys.Gonna need a big cage. Another great chapter btw. I kind of thought Adam would try to do more for Carlos but I didn't expect it to come from Tom who only met him the once, what a guy! And he diagnosed Adams appendicitis....why are all the good ones straight? So jealous of Christine right now. Someones in trouble.....moms not happy they hid the Jason thing, we'll be coming back to that.
-
Really good chapter this one. Like everyone else I too was happy to finally meet Tom and was impressed, definitely good big brother material. Also love the nickname Trojan, if I ever meet a Troy gonna use that. As well as the sending Adam off to shower with Troy, the little surprise gift showed even more how comfortable and supportive he was with their relationship, hehe just not comfortable enough to observe the dress code in Troy's room. Just as concerned as everyone else about the stomach pains, obviously something needs to be addressed there, have to wait and see. Having been there himself, it was easy for Adam to recognize Carlos' reactions to their home. Adampathy will kick in and I'm sure he will take Carlos under his wing, hopefully help him find a boyfriend of his own and also help him come out and gain acceptance from his family.
-
Well the Jason encounter was certainly an unpleasant surprise. I wonder if his actions lend some credibility to Kyles story? Seems no sooner do we rid ourselves of one nemesis, another rears its' ugly head....never a dull moment. And here was I thinking earlier that Mr. C still following them around in his car was being unnecessarily paranoid. The thing I liked most from this chapter was early on when Adam was explaining the cross to Troy. I'm pleased he's kept his faith and didn't allow those pseudo christians to undermine his beliefs with their "warped views on life". He may have been raised their way but thankfully was intelligent enough to discern for himself what is right. I think that explains a lot as to why Adam is continually looking to find the redeeming quality in others and forgive, he's living what he believes.
-
Lovely chapter, no nasty surprises, just a nice happy feel good read. I agree, the wording of the letter was perfect. Adam was even clever enough to ensure there was nothing in it she could use against him, i.e. changing the wording our room to my room. I'm hoping this demonstrates to the mother that she really has no power over Adam and her heartless attempt to cause him further pain has failed. Whether she tries anything else, as Droughtquake suggested previously, it could be used as evidence against her. My only other comment regards birthday spankings? Odd tradition, never heard of it before now.

It's now 2020 and the mob didn't get any smaller. Likewise can't add too much more. I did leave an angry face but that was aimed at the witch. Personally I wouldn't have kept the belt but I do understand Adams' reasoning behind it. Hail to the chiefs, co presidents, what a novel idea....hmmmm I wonder.......

Sweet chapter. I was wondering what little surprise Troy had in store for Adam......hehe I definitely did not think of that. The visit with Kyle was enlightening. I think his apology was sincere and he regrets the decisions that he's made. This is one of those sad if only cases, unfortunately can't turn back the clock. However, some have suggested Adam might put in a good word or some such, honestly, wouldn't bother me either way, end of day I'm here for Adam and Troy. Finally Adams' handling of the minister was priceless. Can anyone imagine the old Adam doing that? No wonder the minister was shocked. So proud of our boy.

I'm glad Mrs.C talked Adam into going to the funeral and decided she and Troy could sit outside in support. I just hope nothing untoward goes down. I expect the mother will ignore him, so if any unpleasantness comes about it will likely come from the other homophobic church members. It will be an opportunity for Adam to show he is better than all of them. Hopefully the visit to Kyle will answer some lingering questions and finally put that whole sad episode to death.Maybe they could leave Mike the soiled briefs. I'm actually looking forward to Thanksgiving and finally getting to meet Tom.
-
Everythings been pretty much covered. My thoughts are for Adam to go, if for no other reason, so she can see the new and improved Adam who has grown and flourished overcoming their best efforts to beat him down. This is the fine young man she's rejecting, brave, intelligent and beautiful both inside and out, and none of that is because of her but despite her. Hopefully one day she'll remember what it was to be a mother, there must have been love once....Adams loving nature must have come from somewhere.
-
Obviously pleased the boys survived their ordeal.Having suffered so much, I can only hope that with the main protagonists out of the way their suffering days are over. Lot of thoughts about the fathers final acts. In the end, what's most important is what Adam believes. If he can find some peace and closure in thinking that his father had some feelings for him at the end and was acting to save him and Troy, then he deserves that little comfort. He's lost so much over the years, he at least has earned this, so let's not take this from him despite what we may or may not believe. Will there be smooth sailing ahead? Perhaps one final obstacle to full closure will be the mother. If Adam can get to attend the funeral he can maybe put his nightmares to rest. Of course, it will probably mean having to face not just his mother, but also the congregation of that hateful church.

The cavalry arrives just in the nick of time.....well actually a minute late but better late than never. You managed to spring yet another surprise, dear old dad ( cough, choke ) at the old love nest. This is like the ultimate climax, the final good vs evil battle. Gunshots ring out and Adam goes black.....should we be worried? Hell yeah. Oh and it appears Mike and maybe Kyle have possibly contracted HIV/ aids......my heart bleeds ( sorry NOT ). Justice comes in many forms, I'll say no more. Personally I do hope noone has been shot or killed.....for some that would be just too easy.
-
Frack Mike and Kyle.Should have known these two would be too stupid to make good their escape and return to torment our boys, talk about obsessive behavior and in broad daylight in a crowded mall. These two morons are done now you can add kidnapping to their growing list of clusterfkdness. And to think earlier I wanted to go easy on them....well up to 20 years and counting now. One thing I got from Mrs.C earlier in the chapter. Yes, Troy and the Connelly's have done so much to bring about changes in Adam for the better. But it's easy to overlook the changes that Adam has made to Troy, simply because we see Troy as the strong one. The day Troy finally plucked up the courage to sit with Adam, albeit at the behest of Mr. Edgar, was a good day for both boys and the beginning of their remarkable journey together. Destiny will not be unravelled by two doped out knuckle draggers who are going to wind up being excellent bitches for Bubba.

Fundy nut jobs LOL that's a new one on me. I was thinking surely theres no way the psycho dad could get off let alone have Adam returned, now thanks to readers comments I'm not as sure. I will place my faith in our dear author not to be so mean....... What stood out for me in this chapter was the shaving scene. It's such an intimate act which requires great trust. Even more evidence of the solidity of this relationship. I can see this one going the distance. Adams progression has been such a beautiful thing to see. How he uses that to help Troy in his times of need is heartwarming. Loving it.

Wow so much reaction over three letters. The saddest thing of all is that there should ever be a need for a GSA, acceptance and tolerance should be automatic, even when it comes to labels. What Adam did for Troy brought a tear to my eye. That in itself did more to prove his love than all the swearing hehe. I wonder if Mr. Edgar is gay?
-
That was another good chapter, guess when you have such a good story it would be hard to write a bad chapter, please don't take that as a challenge. Someone mentioned things getting back to normal. For me it's been so much of a roller coaster I'm not sure if we've really had a chance to define their norm yet. I am glad their days are better and they are finding happiness in the small things. I just love the way Troy drops things on Adam. I think Adam may well become a real driving force in the GSA. I think they will get a lot of sympathy support from the straight students, I'm just hoping any gay students haven't been scared further into the closet by all the bullying and attacks. The only hurdle they may have to get over may come from school administration. As for Mr.C's news, he didn't come into the house angry or upset so it can't be all bad ???

Awesome chapter. I was surprised to find out Diamond was Mikes uncle. That kind of shed more light on his motivations other than just being a devout homophobe out to get our boys. The things we do for family. Glad things are working out and heres hoping the last two conspirators will get served. Both boys seem to be coping better with the aftermath. With this latest fiasco being dealt with, hopefully we will see brighter days ahead. I think Adam and Troy have had to endure more than their fair share of drama, they could really use some happy times right about now.

I'm hoping for a positive outcome here. I'm really hoping one of the boys folds and some kind of plea is reached so Adam and Troy can avoid the ordeal of a trial. Twenty years was mentioned, and even though I hate the bullies and what they did, I wouldn't want their lives completely ruined because of their ignorance and stupidity. Even Adam feels almost sorry enough for them to probably not want to see the more severe sentence handed down. Guess it all depends on the football boys and whether or not they fight it or own up and accept their punishment.I'm not sure how we get the detective, should be interesting to see. Main thing is, the love and support between our two boys and also from Mr and Mrs C are now stronger than ever.
