Working from home and building a movie theater both sound like great ideas.I had not thought about this before this chapter but what time frame is this set in?When they got all the books I realized there was no mention of going online which we all know the kids would do for school at least if not other things.I don't recall hearing computers being mentioned in this story

Bad timing for Bert to show up when he did just as Gus was going to get Joey out of the street that gesture could have led to some interaction with Gus doesn't Bert know it's Rita's job to mess things up for Rick.Speaking of Rita her blowing Rick a kiss like that in a crowd will keep the gossip going strong.The one thing Rita might be doing for Rick is providng a cover for Rick's secret .Mrs Lee's comments about Rick living with the power out etc. in a town like this others probably have made similar observations if not for Rita the gossip might be different

So Carleton reading to the kids can I assume all the kids are proficient in English?Or are some still a work in progress?I really would like to try one of Maria's very large hamburgers just have to make sure Alex is not around when I do

When Vic was crying over his parents leaving Hunter could have told Vic that he was lucky that he had parents worth crying over but Jaime's parents were like that for him.What's the address for the restaurant they went to I feel like going over there now and I'm in San Diego LOL -
I get that Carleton is protective of his boys but with all due respect just because Sal and Mohammed are a gay couple I don't think that warning was warranted.But I also understand after seeing all those sleazy people from before I guess Carleton just wanted to be clear.Another good chapter.

I saw a documentary on Pakistan for the most part at night time because of their religion you see very few women the street and almost never see a girl.So for these sex starved perverted men of the country what is there?Boys of course.To be fair officially the Muslim religion doesn't approve of that but these men who follow most of their religion and insist the females follow it to a T but this particular part about sex with boys goes out the window.Such hypocrisy.(Sorry to be so heavy handed)

Even if those men(and I use the term loosely)are ignorant or cynical about Carleton's presentation there still isn't anything remotely funny about that.Can't wait to see what you got planned.I bet you the men from The Hague was plenty p*****d off those are powerful guys you don't want mad at you.So no goat eh?They don't have room for another kid?(So sorry for the awful pun)

Hunter's grandparent are first rate.There's a saying in the entertainment industry that talent skips a generation so in Hunter's family being a decent person skips a generation.Great to see Vic

Hmm it's like Deja vu. Actually I'm guilty of the same kind of thing in an earlier chapter comment I suggested something that you already mentioned.It was still good to read this chapter in proper context.I will take one small minor issue basketball is being played in more and more places these day all Sal needs to know is the hoop is ten feet high.I love Carleton's idea about spending one on one time with the kids but with so many kids I think he may have to retire to do that.Now to read chap 17

One reason why those mail order drugs are successful is because of how high the drugs are to begin with.I bet there won't be a dry eye in the place after Carleton does his UN address.Would Sal be a live-in 24-7 bodyguard?If so then Maria's cooking will be the deal maker.

You make excellent points but with his duties as an attorney plus he was constantly adding kids he had a very full plate .I bet he was planning these things before he met with an untimely demise. My guess is the kids that were already there got taken care of but after that it couldn't be continued. We will find more details as we go along.

I thought of one more thing for the boys and this one won't be too expensive a couple of basketball hoops.Basketball is popular almost everywhere.At the risk of sounding like no fun the one thing NOT to get is a playstation that would mess things up there.

Daniel's addition is good timing him being 16 and with Stephen leaving he could fill the void of being an older brother.I still don't like the idea of hiring security but maybe it was something that would of had to be done eventually.

I imagine there has to be a way for Carleton to address the UN without putting the kids at risk.If it is too much of a risk I'm then I would reluctantly say don't do it being under the radar may have been a contributing reason why this has worked so well.Is there someone they can take Stephen to before going to NYU he's going to need some help to learn how to interact with his own peer group again after being so long in this house with the younger boys.

One thing I know with my past dogs a 25 pound bag won't last long with 6 puppies.I have a question will some of these kid when they get to be teenagers want to do things on their own like kids in public school not to mention when they start getting into girls(or other boys).They have each other and that's awesome but will they start venturing outside the house.

When Carleton gets older Alex could step right in and not miss a beat. IMO Maria would be the hardest to replace

This story is not set during the pandemic but for Tyler it might as well be.I might be showing some ignorance here but Tyler can't go online right.?Some tech savvy guy could figure out where he is.If I'm wrong about that I'm sure somebody here will tell me.Tyler knows Zeke had a same sex relationship with how nuts Tyler is going being by himself I think he might make some kind of move on Zeke

I half way surprised Mrs. L didn't blame her cancer on Hunter.I was fantasizing that while Jerry was there despite being straight maybe had a few too many beers and then a three-way with Hunter and Jerry and Jaime like I said fantasy.Is it really true freshman can't drive on the UT campus? Man that's lame. -
Walter's fish was first a yard long then it was four feet long and and finally sixty inches sounds like you heard your share of fish stories.When Walter and Jerry asked Rick if he knew what Rita was up to why was he so tight lipped?From what I can see he has no loyalty to Rita.I'm guessing Rick doesn't want to say anything because of how senior might react.But he should say something because what's Rita is saying sounds like a scam. When the motorcycle first pulled up I was thinking it could be Sexy hunk but it was cool to see these characters good touch. You think Jared reaction to the two might give Rick some encouragement? Have a Happy Thanksgiving
