Like all of Mrs Fox' writing, this is humorous and light-hearted but deals with complex social and personal issues. The continuation of The story told from Rusty's point of view is even better than the first volume which focused on Jonathan and Maddox. A super read.

So we learn that Devon had an affair. Coop sees guys on the side and will move in with Chase. Divorce is the best option. I think things are going to get very rough with the kids. I'm not sure that moving into a gay neighborhood is the best decision. 🤔 -

That's exactly what we'll call it. Agreed. -
The List tells the story of Cooper who explores his sexuality, makes a series of silly mistakes and a few serious ones before finding his equilibrium as a young gay man. I laughed, cried, was angry and light-hearted all at once. A well-written story with believable and endearing characters.

You got it exactly. There were times when I wanted to die. But now 5 years on, and still around him daily I've moved on and we have such a good friendship. 👍 meeting someone else who is a real sweetheart has helped 😆. -

I agree. Spencer Kyle is a a good pairing. I'm glad Coop behaved well. He tried hard, he carried through with his plan and he told Specer the truth. Well done Coop. 👏

At some stage Coop and Kyle will get back together again. They obviously have deep feelings story each ither. Where they differ is how to prioritize those against the desire to explore more. 🤔
