    Stepping through the Mirror is a perfect read to end the day. It tells the story of Blake Sorenson, who has to find his own way in the shadow of two highly successful and charming siblings. It is a heart-warming story that made me smile for Blake and the journey ahead, which I suspect will be a happy one. A great read.

    This was fhe perfect story to end a shitty day. I'm glad Blake is coming out if the shadow and beginning to excel in his own right. I would love to follow this story into a series.

    Yes. Quite true. Rusty is who he is, without any intervention or input from Conor. Conor will however, use those flaws to create his own claim to be King of a new Calvinistic type of Sunny Hill. Whether it were Rusty, Maddox or John Doe, Conor's new mission to be king would remain constant.

    Well 7 years have passed between Ch1 and Ch4. What has Jase been up to in that time? It seems like he hasn't aged either. Very odd.

    Yes. That makes perfect sense. Rusty is at a crossroad and has to make tough decisions. Conor is going to make his life difficult.

    Yeah, I get the need for Conor to add tension and challenge. Nevertheless he is a slimeball and I will rejoice when he goes down, as he surely will.

    Now that is a real possibility. The King would also be inadvertently playing into Slimey Conor's hands. Conor needs to go. He is seriously pissing me off.

    Agreed. Rusty is pure gold and we see that whenever we get a glimpse at his vulnerable side.

    No doubt. His adversity is linked to Rusty's. It could also be linked to Sticky Coolplums, of whom we have seen neither hide nor hair.

    So Rusty is going to be under attack. Somehow I don't think he cares less about Conor Williams and his views or whether people will admire him or not. Rusty is at a serious crossroad and he has real soul searching to do. At his age it would be so easy to make a mistake. I hope he will listen to his heart, there is nothing else you can do. 🙃

    Running Far Afield is a fantastic afternoon read. Two teenage boys discover each other in an unlikely setting and over a period of 6 weeks develop a bond that lifts them up but does not please everyone around them. This is a fabulous story, well worth the hour it will take to read.

    Paying the Piper is quite simply a super story. The main characters are both charming and cantankerous. The plot is excellent and the writing flows beautifully. The love story that develops between two of the characters is heart-warming. The chief of police, as ornery as he is, is a caring and competent man. With twists and turns along the way, Paying the Piper will keep you engaged and turning the pages.
