    A calm chapter filled with the details of normal domesticity. ✨️ Ralph has his first go at something physical on a long time and is covered in aches as a result. He and Nolan are getting along very well.

    Great exam scores for both our boys and an interesting conversation with Hoss. I'm very worried about Matt and this wretched trial. Aunt Margaret and Tony are demons from hell and I look forward to their return there.

    I agree @Summerabbacat. I'm worried. Evidence has to come out agaonst Tony, or for Matt.

    Who is the mystery caller? 🤔 Tony? Maybe, but is that too obvious a choice? I don't think it is Davo. Is there anyone who can give evidence in favour of Matt?

    So Matt is slowly on the mend, although some arsehole has spray painted his car. I'm hopeful that Luke's dad, or Matt's employer or somebody can come forward with evidence against Tony.

    Wow!! What a right little bastard Tony is. As for Margaret, she is a real piece of work. Matt and Luke will get through this and I really hope this will draw Luke's dad back into the story in a positive way.

    An interesting chapter with aa lot happening. 8 have an Aunt Margaret, although not the same name, who is loud, all-knowing and as bold as brass. Luke needs to get over his insecurity, or it could become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

    As others have mentioned, I am really looking forward to Nolan and Ralph meeting Brian and Gordon. Russ is a good guy and very loyal to those who seem him as a person rather than a business interest. I think he will prove very good to Ralph and Nolan who will return it with true friendship.

    Nolan and Ralph's relationship is developing nicely and they are learning a lot about each other.

    I'm glad Father gave good advice and even more glad that Ralph put him in his place. I wonder how long it will take for Nolan to gradually migrate into Ralph's bed full time. 🤔 Why had I not realized they were the same age. I thought Nolan was a fair bit younger, for some reason.

    Ralph in action both impressed Nolan and gave him a sense of security. Father is good for something after all - even if it is just the odd mimic on occasion as required. Ralph will take good care of Nolan, and Nolan will return the love.

    Hoss is on their side. Yaaay for Christmas, the most wonderful time of the year. I'm glad the boys decorated the house. Now what is going to happen with Luke's dad?

    Luke really has found himself in the middle of some difficult situations. 😳 That father son relationship is severely damaged, hopefully not beyond repair, but let's wait and see.

    Absolutely loving this!! ❤️ Although not Australian, so much of the background resonates with me as a South African. I'm pretty sure DJ had a good idea about Matt and Luke and opened that line of chatted by referring to Tim and Guy.

    And no Norman and Sheila was a bonus. They are so similar to my ex-parents-in-law. Their names are Norman and Sally. I understand that mind set quite well.

    That was a fantastic day boating on the canal. The girls had a ball and Ralph was caught up jn the magic of it. He is right rough, he needs to pay a bit more attention to Nolan.

    Agreed @centexhairysub. Ralph's parents are very common amongst the grandparent generation. They are not bad people per se, just sure that they are the right sort of people. they will be forced to change or they will lose their son and granddaughters. The choice will be their's alone.

    A light-hearted, fun-filled chapter. Ralph is really coming out if his shell. I'm enjoying the man he is allowing himself to become and I think Nolan is a big part of this metamorphosis. Looking forward to how the girls experience the picnic.

    A very interesting conversation with the clairvoyant and confirmation that Average Joe, aka Danny, is infact Ryder's fated mate. I wonder what he will find out about the incense and where this information will lead him. There is a lot more to Theodore Pembroke than meets the eye, and none of it is good.

    I'm really really enjoying this story. Your writing is so flows so well and is easy to follow. Chris' dad is a gem. I'm keeping my eye on him. I finished Year 12 in 1985.
