That was a wonderful adventure. I enjoyed every chapter, even the harrowing ones. I can't wait to read the sequel.

I agree with all that has already been said. If this was easy, Morgana would have done it herself. So let's see what they find and what else beside the amulet.

This is a good time for out chaps. They are getting to know more about each other, exploring the idea of living together or at least as neighbors.

Well they are certainly in a pickle with their faces plastered all over the villages across the continent. As for Nyle, I'm not sure he is any more trustworthy than the 2 scavengers they found on the road.

These nightmares definitely have the ring of a curse about them. 😉 So Nathan has seen Brohm naked and likes that swaying pendulum. Sounds like fun to me.

The interlocked fingers made me smile. As for the wolves, they must have been extremely hungry to be so unafraid of humans and fire. These two are going to grow stronger as a pair.

I'm glad they're up the pass and a little safer from human challenge, but there may well be natural challenges dancing them rhe higher they climb.

Although they have revealed themselves, let's hope they can get up into the remote mountain pass before anybody comes searching the area.

I wonder if Nathan isn't under some sort of spell that gives him nightmares and visions. Perhaps linked to the winds earlier. I'm glad they found a hiding place that has a little store of useful items, but they need to move under cover of darkness.

I wondered if it might not have bèn a plan to keep the 4 horses and sell them later. They will be safe for a time but may have to consider moving on.
