Wolmer is an incarnation of evil and a real tinder to the spark. Fran is becoming increasingly frustrated/upset by his role and the treatment from Gustave. He needs to break free when the time presents itself. I'm sorry for Will, but glad that Ed did not touch his hard 5 inches 😆 -

@akascrubber I wonder if these were the thoughts that Marie Antoinette and co. may have had or the Tsar and his family towards the end? It certainly inspires thought and reflection for our own lives as well, albeit on a different scale. -
Ah @raven1. I didn't realise he had passed until I reflected on what you had written. Now I am reading the other tributes and I am feeling grateful for his responses to every single comment I ever wrote on one of his stories. Thank you for taking the time to pay tribute to a man who was clearly involved, engaged and a friend to many.

Fran was really knocked badly by King Oswald's father and the Regent. He lost his family, his home and his inheritance. I hope there is a way that he will be compensated for this loss. -
I like Marina more and more. I think she would be great fun to have around. Noah and Toby are lucky boys to have the level of support they do have, notwithstanding one or two family members who are not keen. Really enjoying this. Happy New Year to all and a very prosperous and joy-filled 2024.

I'm delighted that Fran and Ed have reconnected. I wonder what will become of them having been observed in an embrace 🤔 Your writing style is lovely. The story flows, the vocabulary is extensive and engaging. It makes for delightful reading - not just the content, but rhe construction as well.

This was a good first chapter. I'm not sure we should be referring to Fran as a boy. He is 22 years old, so definitely a man.

Colin is slow coming to term with the fact that he is now "out" and doesn't need to worry or hide. This will take time though. Happy New Year all.

The food hall is the best feature about IKEA. 😆 🤣. Otherwise walking a mile to get a spoon drives me up the pole. Norway on the other hand is looking good for March. Northern Lights are projected to be particularly good this yeR around that time.

This chapter spoke so beautifully to my Anglican soul. I love the mumbo jumbo, the architectural setting and the music. I'm glad it is being shown that gay and Christian are possible. -

Colin really is becoming comfortable being out with Owain. Also discovered his top self 😆 As for Miles. What an arsehole! I wasn't aware people like that still existed in merry old England. -
What a surprise, but a very welcome one. We'll done Colin! Owain and Colin are developing a very healthy friendship. A good way to go.
