  1. What’s this man thinking? I can't eat all of this! Staring at the plate and what it held, Vincent was full of hunger and trepidation. Mason had made omelets for both of them. The alpha warned him; he only knew how to make them one way. These things are huge! He used ten eggs just for mine! I'll be lucky to eat half… He noticed Mason staring. The glare intensified as Vincent picked up the fork. Is he waiting for me to taste it? With plenty of melted cheddar, bacon crumbles, and seasonin
  2. Thank you, JeffreyL! I'm happy to say that you will see more of Leidolf and Elaine, as they are integral characters for the story. As of typing this, Chapter 6 is in moderation, so get ready!
  3. This story had me blowing through chapters! I went through this story so fast, my husband had to start it after the third, "OH, COME ON!!" The author perfectly keeps the reader in his clutches as he ends each chapter. This story perfectly blends romance, drama, and action, and is in a class of it's own. The characters are relatable, but will surprise you with every step of the journey. I'm unsure if this book intends to be published, or is published at the time of this review, but I am ready to throw money at a copy for my bookshelf!
  4. Glad you like it! Keep checking back, I try to post a chapter once a week-ish!
  5. I have to say shifterslover, your English is pretty well written! I also have to say that I totally dropped the ball on Venice. I wrote the Stefan portion when I was at work, and did absolutely no research of the city, and that is my bad! This will definitely be a learning lesson when I write future chapters and stories. Thank you so much for pointing this out to me!
  6. Buz! Every time I get an e-mail, saying I have a new comment, I stop whatever I'm doing to read yours. Thank you so much for the feedback and thoughts, and thanks for the wedding wishes! As far as Mason's mother, I'll go more into detail about Elaine and Leidolf's relationship in later chapters. But yes, she is a shifter with frost affinity powers. I've actually been thinking about writing some mini-side stories/chapters on special events that have happened in the past, before Vincent and Mason met (i.e.: Elaine and Stefan's encounter, when Dave first met Vincent, etc.) I am excited that you are enjoying both Mason's ideals and the story!
  7. Thanks Patch! Husband just walked by, told me to tell ya thanks! I had to actually re-write the majority of Chapter 5, so some plans for Ch. 6 have been goofed up. Hopefully, I'll have it done soon!
  8. Thank you centexhairysub! I always appreciate your comments when I get a new chapter posted! Stefan has a mafia boss mindset: he enjoys the pleasures of life, especially the beauty of Italy, but his work and personal hobbies keep him on the bad side of the law. And I believe Mason has learned his lesson involving Vincent's trust issues. I doubt there will be more kept secrets between the two...
  9. Well… that's something I should’ve seen coming. Mom’s the head librarian, and she knows Vinnie. Mason rested a leg on his knee as he pushed the porch swing. Leaning back, he sighed. "How did you know?" Elaine laughed. "Well, bookworms aren't your type. You tend to bed closeted jocks. It was more of an educated guess. I'm also guessing you haven't told your father. He would’ve been rather excited about this." "Yeah, he always wanted another son to call his own. I’ll tell him in the morn
  10. I always wanted to romance the guards in Fable 1 and 2, especially the chiefs. None of the other NPCs caught my personal eye, but dang, I really wanted one of those big buff guards in my character's bed! They never gave them a romance meter in game, and that's just a darn shame.
  11. I suppose there isn't too much of an issue with being destined to spend the rest of my life with someone like Mason...but if Gary Busey showed up on my doorstep saying "Hello, love of my life," I might be concerned... Chapter 5 is in the works ;D
  12. Fuck that hurts! Mason’s thoughts slowly came into focus as the truck stopped. Shoulder's dislocated. Vincent! His attention snapped to his passenger. "Vincent! Are you hurt?" Vincent's head sagged to the left. Mason checked for a pulse on his mate's neck. Unconscious. He needed to get him on the ground, so he unbuckled his safety belt and went to open the door, but his fingers landed on ice. Mason narrowed his eyes, realizing what had happened before the crash. Vinnie, you saved me! H
  13. I am beyond excited for this!!! The fans have been waiting for fifteen freaking years! I can't count how many times I played the original game. Myr, I highly recommend playing it before the sequel comes out. It's on Steam for a decent price if you're interested.
  14. I was raised in Indiana (I know, not technically in the southern area of the US, but everyone around the area acts like they came from an episode of the Andy Griffith Show), but I grew up hearing these phrases, and I use some of these very frequently (i.e.: sippy sack and red-headed step child). My mother has a tendency to call people who are unambitious in their work or occupation as useless like "t's on a boar hog." This phrase still makes me giggle.
  15. I am enjoying the reader speculation so much! But I can't help but leave a gallon of Kentucky sweet tea for y'all to sip on, because no one seems to mind what Miss Elaine thought was interesting about Vincent...1k words in so far on Chapter 4. Stay tuned!!!
  16. This comment just made my day! Thank ya kindly!
  17. Thanks so much Buz! I love that I'm the new kid on the block, and getting compliments from my new neighbors! I wanted their dinner date to be as perfect as possible, but *sigh* there must always be a snag in the plans. The next chapter is under way, and will definitely be posted within a week, maybe two. Work's been pretty brutal and I'm finding a little less time to write. But I won't let y'all down!!!
  18. Thank you for your comments! They are very insightful, and I always appreciate the compliments!
  19. Under the warm blanket, Vincent woke from his deep sleep. He rolled over and grabbed his phone from the cardboard box he used as a nightstand. One o’clock in the afternoon. A groan escaped his throat. Time to get going. Vincent sighed and sat up. He blinked rapidly to hasten the process. Coffee! The mage pushed off the mattress and made a bee-line for the kitchen. He opened a cabinet and grabbed a single-use pod. After placing it in his machine, Vincent reached for a mug, filled it wit
  20. The previous night had been something out of Mason's dreams. He had seen his mate. Got to smell him. And the one thing he understood was he needed more. Vincent became his object of desire. Since laying eyes on the little human, Mason had spent the last thirty-six hours fantasizing about intimate times with him. He growled, imagining the beautiful body laying before him, Vincent’s legs spread in anticipation. The longing to mate with him had been pulling strings in the back of Mason’s mind
  21. Vincent Bolton sighed as he placed the last jar of store-branded spaghetti sauce on the shelf. Hearing the subtle collision of glass meeting metal made his eyes close, wondering how many more times that sound would happen throughout the night. He brushed medium length, dirty-blonde hair out of his face, pulled out his phone, and confirmed the shift had just started an hour before. Vincent mentally groaned at the concept of doing the same thing for another seven hours. Turning to break down a box
  22. Mason, an alpha lycan shapeshifter, discovers that a young mage, Vincent, is his destined mate. While Mason attempts to woo him, Vincent continues to develop his magical power, and hunt down his parents' killer. Together, these men will build trust for each other, create everlasting memories, and track down the dangerous mage, Stefan.
