    He was numb for the next few days, both emotionally and physically. Moving autonomously, Vincent did the bare essentials to keep functioning. Cooking or ordering delivery, using the toilet, and taking showers. He took plenty of showers. The steamy water relaxed him. It was as if his experience was washing off of him.     I feel the need to apologize. My knee-jerk reaction to everyone's responses was not of sound mind. As it's been said, not everyone gets a HEA (happily ever after) ending. There are kinks, chips, and unstable walls with this bastardized version of HEA. But like most homes with the same problems, people make it work. It's come to my attention I need to stand up and dust myself off, and that sounds about right. I committed to the story-telling choices I made, and there is more to come to explain. Will it all show up in the next chapter or two? No. Some will come in the epilogue, some in side stories, and some will probably remain in obscurity. Much thanks to those who sent messages. I wasn't in the best head-space, and deeply needed the kind words.

    I've wasted away most of my morning reading how disappointed and unsatisfied everyone is. I even let it get to me emotionally, and not in a good way. On a personal level, I'm more than satisfied with the outcome and nothing will change that. For those who feel disappointed in my writing ability, my apologies. I will take your feedback and focus on creating a better story in the future. I'll try to craft an epilogue, but for now, I'm done with lengthy novels. It's clear I'm not up to the task of writing and managing them.

Only this time, Terik’s in charge. How’s this possible? Isn’t it illegal or something for you to interfere with earthly matters?

    Ironically, I nearly flunked my required psychology class in college. Professor was one of the best, but I couldn't nail the terminology and hypotheticals she threw at her students.
