  1. I couldn't help myself. With RJ being based on Grumpy himself, I needed more stuff from our werebear friends.
  2. Our little Vincent is learning the other avenues of being a great auditor. It might be awkward for him, being a friend of Kaplan, but talking with Marc and Lesha sounds like a good move on his end.

    Chapter 23

I'll be focused on it when I get back from the gym, give a few hours.
  4. Grab yourself a cookie sheet You get a cookie sheet! And you get a cookie sheet!
  5. I love how Vincent left things. He really is Cyrus's replacement. I test drove one, and it was awesome! It's like a suped up golf cart, and everyone loves driving a golf cart. I like Ralph. I'll be keeping him in mind for a short story at some point... I have hope Kap's parents will show some growth. Aww. No sunshine or rainbows in OLCP when Kap arrives? Where's the faith? Perhaps whoever makes the evaluation schedule wants to challenge Vincent's ability to handle uncomfortable scenarios. If he can't act unbiased during an audit, he shouldn't be an auditor. I mean, I wouldn't blame Mace for wanting to go on a run. Free field trip! Vincent's becoming a mini-Cyrus, and I'm here for it!!!
  6. I've always wanted one!!! If I can't have one, then I'll certainly give one to Vinnie Mac. Most around here are driven by either grannies or hipsters.
  7. I think I'll save this mini-plot for a short story later down the line. It's whispering to me, but I can't hear what it's saying at the moment.
  8. If someone tells me that, I'll tell them they're an artist for sure. They have an active imagination...
  9. Handing in his answer sheet, Vincent left the testing room and ran into RJ. "Oh, hey!" "I smell the confidence. Think you aced it?" Walking with the polar bear, Vincent sighed. "I think I did well enough. Just wish the essay portions had more pages." "That's part of the exam. Can't go rambling on, otherwise nothing actually gets done when you're in the field. So, how's working with Holly and Teddy?" The rigorous work-outs were unlike anything else. "Have you seen the race tra
  10. Ooof! Fair warning, the first book was my first attempt at writing, and I did not have an editor.
  11. I prefer one sausage at a time. More than that and I start playing favorites.
  12. Mmmm. Love me some warm, spiced wine. I'm ready for colder weather...
  13. Hey, look! It's @weinerdog!
  14. Glad you enjoyed the banter!
  15. If I keep up the fairy tales, I'll have to re-title this collection... Might be a bit before I get another chapter going. Lot's to do!
  16. You'd think the Baker's Man would want Gingie around to help design the cakes... Thanks, Chris! Nah, I need a gingerbear. @Philippe! Comments can be a great source of inspiration. The question is which story is next? Drew White and the Seven Dwarves, Barry and the Beast, or The Little Merman. Or the sequel where the Gingerbread Twink gets his Pillsbury Dough Boy butthole patty-caked by the Baker's man. Substance? Indoggo gin, pineapple juice, and a splash of Sprite. Oh no, the twink's a cousin of Gingie from Shrek. Not sure if Gingie would be as comfortable with a bunch of white stuff all over his back . I mean, both the king and the prince wanted to eat him. Take that as you will... I love baking ginger snaps around the holidays. It's such a joy watching people struggle to bite the cookies.
  17. Fleeing through the castle halls, the cookie’s feet silently tapped the stone. The baker’s man should have known better than to leave the icing on the table. It was nothing for the gingerbread man to turn the piping bag towards the floor and squeeze the contents out. Hoping it was enough, he prayed as he leaped off the preparation table. With white goop along his back, he knew he was leaving a trail. But this was it. His big chance to escape! He wasn’t going to be the king’s snack. Not eve
  18. I don't know, @Philippe has made comments that made me hungry. Very smart in the culinary department. Replace stroganoff with beef bourguignon, and we're on the right track.
  19. LMAO! That's a new one. You'll get first dibs, so long as I don't make Mrs. G the editor...
  20. Sounds like I found a second beta-reader (or editor) for Cow-man. Better beef up on your cow puns because it's gonna get udderly ridiculous. Whenever I get around to writing it, I'll let you know .
  21. Because you haven't asked me to beta-read for you
  22. Hey now. This makes you the originals. I'm just a carbon copy. 😎 Thanks! I do fit in most overhead containers. Cute idea, but maybe later. I already did a co-authored piece this year. Working with K&G (OH MY GOD, KAH-GEY!!! Next nickname for them...) would certainly be a blast.
  23. How old are your's and Weinerdog's nephews?! @Philippe I think we're the new @Mrsgnomie and @kbois.
  24. Yep. I'll make sure to give my husband a copy of the map. The fool married me without asking for one.
  25. If you figure out how my mind works first, let me know.
