I'm glad that Tim has come around. Hopefully the rest of the guys that are on the fence will give Tony a chance, as well. I feel like a meeting with Aaron is close.

This was a very entertaining read. I can't imagine the levels of frustration that Alex lives with every day he walks out the door. But rather than be constantly bitter and angry at the world, he chooses happiness.

My only concern with getting Jasper in trouble with the police, is Deirdre moving back and wanting full or shared custody of Toby. I’m glad the guys are wary and not making light of this whole Jasper situation. -
Absolutely true. Tony would not be accepting blame if he didn't have some regrets about leaving Aaron, but he shouldn't be "the bad guy" in his real life novel. Those remaining behind would naturally support the friend that stayed, but I hope the rest of the guys are more "Guy, Matt, and Luke" than Tim.

100% agree with this. I was internally shouting these same ideas as I was reading. Tony is not helping his case by accepting blame. Tim can stop being a little crybaby any time now. Aaron has had it rough, but it is absolutely not Tony's fault.

I'm wondering if the drama will be created by the infamous Venetia? So Vince doesn't want a new wife. And he seems to feel some guilt towards his late wife. Is it just because he was busy with work? Wouldn't it be wonderful if both of dear old dad's sons and his nephew were gay?

I don't understand why so many people are mad at Tony. It sounds like Aaron had the choice to go with him, but decided to stay and break up. Tim and Guy are not from Thompsonville, meaning they left their hometown to start fresh. Why did everyone expect Tony to stay? Shouldn't they be celebrating his success?

I second the Dr! I've missed these friends. I think I'm going to do a full reread, even though I remember most of it. It was so good, with such unique characters that it deserves it.

This was a fun chapter. Toby is more mature than most 15 year olds, mingling with adults and making his own decisions. This bodes well for his future, he will be better equipped to tackle young adulthood than his peers who only travel in packs of other teens. Brian and Gordon will love the photo. -
I can't help but wonder where Aaron is? I have a bad feeling about his conspicuous absence in Tony's internal commentary. On a positive note, it sounds like there will be quite the party!

Forests are my favorite. I'm incredibly lucky to live 5 minutes from a park that has hilly forests, a creek, a pond, meadows, and Native American burial mounds. Great hiking! -

Most true wetlands are similar to this. A bunch of trees and flowering plants create their own soil over time and use a lot more water than grasses, turning wetlands into meadows and forests. All great areas, but you would lose all the animal And plant species reliant on the wetlands ecosystem. My apologies for nerding out. -

I love Pink Floyd! Maybe @Summerabbacat would like them more if he he did a Google image search for David Gilmour. He was quite the hottie in the 70's. Maybe not so much now that he's in his seventies! I'm a big fan of Bas. The fact that Moggie allowed him to pet her Highness is a great indicator. Charlie is just figuring out he has a lot more support than he thought. Both guys made great strides with dad, and mom seems to be more mom-like than at the start of the story. Or is Kieran breaking out of his self imposed bubble to realize the emotional distance was at least half his fault?

It seems that Caroline is not growing smarter with age. This trip was a business deal, I don't think George was unclear when they negotiated. But she continues to believe she can rekindle their marriage, this will only bring her frustration and embarrassment. Will she be appeased with expensive jewelry? Wow! This was the most emotional chapter I have read in recent memory. The first part was so difficult to read, but now I feel so hopeful for Oliver. I'm wondering about the Mafioso twins and Melissa's twins. Their lives are in contrast, but also with similarities. Melissa will have an uphill battle. This was the same year that the vice President caused an uproar regarding Murphy Brown choosing to give birth to and raise a child on her own. I was happy to see Mary take charge of Micah and Thomas soaking in the love and attention he deserves.

I think that Graham has shown remarkable candor with everyone. Rather than be repelled by his brother's outbursts, he has remained calm and talked with him. He has answered his nephew's questions with tact and patience. He could have given up on his new friend, but he chased after Matt and made amends, and then some. When faced with a roadblock with his writing, he went to his benefactor and was honest. If he continues with this, he will no doubt find success.

There might be tiny progress with Raffa's legs, if you can call sharp pain in his spine progress, but huge progress with their relationship!

I enjoyed the trip to Russ' home as much as the boys. Although I use a good drip coffeemaker (I grind beans, of course), I have a percolator that I use if our electric is temporarily out. Although it is an old fashioned American one, not an Italian Bialetti. I have always been a little wary of Noah's parents, especially Marina. I think they will cause problems, but I also think they underestimate their son and his convictions. Their hands-off approach to parenting is going to come back and bite them in the ass.
