It appears all we readers have sympathy for Edward Lamont @Lee Wilson. I, like @pvtguy, was impressed with the presiding judge, Xavier Voight. His decision to grant bail and not to allow Edward to be tried as an adult were well reasoned and fair. I share the concerns of most of my fellow readers regarding Edward returning to school. The other children will understandably be frightened of him and will likely completely isolate him, which I imagine will not help his mental health issues. I still cannot help but think there is a physical problem e.g. a brain tumour, which caused him to snap. George's laissez faire attitude towards Callum being gay is commendable, but I too wonder if perhaps in being so rational he is teasing Callum to some extent, albeit unknowingly. This storyline with Edward is very intriguing @Lee Wilson, and appears to have captivated most of your faithful audience. Well done.

Kai, Henry and Dane turned the stereotype "meathead" rugby player on its head with not only their support for Dallas, but also their endorsement of his relationship with JJ. It is one thing to acknowledge being comfortable someone is gay in theory, but to follow through with continued support when they have a partner and are clearly engaging in gay sex, is something else again. And they have offered their support voluntarily, not because it was expected of them, and in a school environment where I am surprised they have not been instructed to distance themselves from Dallas. The impending end-of-year party at the property of the school captain could well see a showdown between Dallas and/or JJ vs Timmy, Macca and Thommo. Copious amounts of alcohol will no doubt be consumed, which will likely embolden Timmy and his goons to the point where they feel invincible to take on the faggot who has ruined Dallas and maybe even Dallas himself. I can see it not ending well, and in the worst case scenario, a revelation to Timmy they know what he tried to do to Zack being heard by many of the partygoers, thus becoming common knowledge at the school. I don't give a shit if this hurts Timmy and his reputation is totally ruined, but it may be of great embarrassment to Zack. I remember well attending several parties of the type I predict will occur @Mark Ponyboy Peters, and at least one of them had a bonfire. Lots of drinking and lots of heterosexual sex between parties who had never engaged in such activities with each other before, and had to "cover it up" to protect "innocent" third parties e.g. pre-existing partners. And finally, Big D finally gave JJ the d and both were d-lited with the resulting flood, even though it was not Groove Is In The Heart, more like Nothing Compares To You when Big D followed JJ's invitation to Work That Magic.

Baby steps for the progression of Gray and Matt's relationship mirror the increasing confidence Gray is gaining from his public speaking engagements. Necessity may make an orator out of him yet, particularly with his muse attending to rouse his passion for poetry. I was surprised Dawn thought Gray's muse was a woman, or was she joking @Robert Hugill?

The classic doggy style position has never had a truer application @drsawzall, and although I loathe the album with a passion, it made me think of AC/DC's Givin' The Dog A Bone from Back In Black, an album my brother played relentlessly in 1980/1981. It appears Theodore who thought himself the ultimate alpha may have been tamed not only by the puny human known as Jack, but may be at the mercy of Vince too. Theodore, more of a chipmunk than an alpha wolf. Looking forward to the next scorching chapter @Laura S. Fox, where perhaps we will meet two additional wolves from Ryder's pack, Gavin and Donald.

Amelia and Charlotte, the hitherto unnamed girlfriends, did not stand a chance against the scent of all that testosterone and sweat, let alone the scent AND appearance of those jockstraps framing all that beef, both "topside" and "rump". The soccer is irrelevant; the real game is off the field.

As with all the @Rafy stories I have read to date, this one had its share of thoroughly amusing one liners, invariably a critical observation of one's fellow humans. On this occasion "Every time I see something like this, I always wonder: Are the people under these masks so young that they should actually be in bed already? Or so old and broke that they just can’t afford Botox?", a critique of the fantasy, fetish, fashion statement or follicle faux-pas of dressing as a puppy. I have only once ever attended a karaoke bar @Rafy and it is not something which burns in my 1001 Things You Must Do (Again) Before You Die. My Heart Will Go On - the techno remix? No, just no.

Proving disco and glamour have been intrinsically linked from the beginning of time, Diva Glamoranza, a d'reg queen whom the likes of RuPaul, Lady Bunny and Alaska Thunderfuck could only dream of emulating, inspires the modern phenomenon of drag long before The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert. Forget Jimi Hendrix's Purple Haze, this vastly superior suite of sparkling sequinned surrealism, a Fuchsia Fantasy from the imagination of @Rafy.

I have only seen the Wagon Wheels in the half-size on the supermarket shelves, which is probably a good thing. I have a love-hate relationship with Vegemite. I have mostly hated it, but friends who are somewhat food 'snobs' were eating it recently much to my surprise. I tried some as I had not eaten it for years, and was surprised I quite enjoyed it.

If Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend and Are Forever, then move over Marilyn and Shirley, there's a dazzling new diva on the block, and his name is @Rafy. This gem of a story deliciously wraps revenge in a cocoon of precision planning combined with chaos and disorder. When Ying meets Yang, balance is restored to satisfy even the fussiest of us born under the star sign Libra. They say revenge is a dish best served cold. In this story, the temperature of said dish is arctic. Dylan the doyenne of the diss, with frosty one-liners the envy of Mame Dennis and Alexis Morel Carrington Colby Dexter Rowan, vivisects the pretentious without drawing blood. Splendid.

Oliver would be a welcome addition to any story @Paladin. I wonder if @Mark Ponyboy Peters likes Tim Tams? You would be "proud" of me. I recently ate a Wagon Wheel (about half the size they were when I was a youngster) and Vegemite (40% less salt, but it was still bloody salty). The Wagon Wheel was dangerously delicious and the Vegemite was enjoyed, particularly on crunchy sourdough bread.

@Rafy this story needs a warning, a warning that if excessive laughter might cause you any health issues e.g. seizures, you should proceed to read it with extreme caution. I have never in my life read anything like this story (not even one of your stories @Rafy). It is a riot, the closest I have ever come to seizure-inducing laughter, even moreso than when I watched Mel Brooks' The Producers. Glitterbomb Galore, a post-modern Diva Glamoranza, the polar opposite of Mariah's epic bomb, Glitter. And the DJ of the hour, DJ Daddy Issues. Your imagination must have reached fever pitch when you wrote this story @Rafy, in fact, perhaps you wrote it Under The Influence Of Fever, as opposed to Love Unlimited's Under The Influence Of Love. DJ Daddy Issues, what a hilarious name, one which immediately brought to mind Daddy Cool by Boney M., the much maligned disco group from the 1970's who were enormously popular in my homeland of Australia, and who spun on my turntable at the time almost as much as my namesakes, ABBA and Donna Summer. I am not ashamed to say I still love Boney M, in fact, I say it with PRIDE. In my review of this story I mentioned Mel Brooks, the reason being I felt as if you released your inner-Mel Brooks when you wrote this story, a story awash with one-liners delivered at such an alarming pace that Joan Rivers would have gotten whiplash had she tried to achieve the same feat. And just when I did not think you could top the comedy, you delivered a touching scene where Glitterbomb, with what I perceived as startling sincerity, delivered a heartfelt thank you to The Bear who rescued her from certain fuchsia fiasco. To quote the now 90 year old Johnny Mathis - WONDERFUL WONDERFUL @Rafy. You could not have written this story any funnier, even if you had written it by the Rivers Of Babylon.

Absolutely outstanding. Think Mel Brooks meets RuPaul in a fuchsia coloured haze. Glamour, glamour, glamour and a gaggle of gays. @Rafy's rapier wit has NEVER been so impressive, the entire story one hilarious one-liner after another. Read it at your "peril" though as your face, your sides, your stomach, in fact your entire being will ache from the continual laughter. The perfect antidote to the winter blues.

You no doubt saw plenty of "show ponies", just not the sort you were used to seeing. As a very wise man, Benny Andersson of ABBA, once said in an interview I saw with him, there is much beauty in simplicity. Sometimes the simplest of songs or other works are extraordinarily appealing. He was talking about The Winner Takes It All, which he said had a very simple melody. I am going to apply Benny's wisdom in my assessment of this story, your The Winner Takes It All.

It keeps us coming back for more @ChromedOutCortex. Adam is a fascinating character and I want so much for him to find peace and contentment, and love too if it is his destiny.

If this comment was in response to my comment @akascrubber, the answer is no. If Jamie is dead as I have speculated may be the case, I think his death so traumatised Adam that he has retreated into a world of make believe where Jamie is still alive because the alternative is too painful for him to accept.

The Imperial Hotel in Erskineville. I have fond memories of it pre- and post-Priscilla release @Mark Ponyboy Peters. I lived in Erskineville, within walking distance of it for most of 1995, in Newtown in 1996/1997 and in Camperdown from late 1997 to 2013. Many a journey to the Imperial was undertaken in those years, even for a time on a Sunday afternoon (I cannot recall why though). I had also visited it on a couple of occasions before Priscilla when I lived in Darlinghurst and ventured west, away from "the scene" on Oxford Street. When reading this chapter I was impressed how you managed to introduce another Kevin, this one very different from "your" other Kevin. It was not until I finished reading the chapter that I realised I had mixed up my "Ponies" and my "Paladins". It is such a pleasure to read both this story and What Brings Us Together - Part 2 that there was some cross-pollination between the two, albeit briefly, at least in @Summerabbacat's universe. Perhaps it is the coastal connection, the beauty of the vast Pacific which united them in my mind for a short moment (and I have not been drinking or partaking of any other mind-altering substances). The most enjoyable and uplifting aspect of this chapter and a number of the preceding chapters, has been the immediate acceptance of Kieran and Charlie's relationship by Kieran's extended family, and even moreso, the welcome Charlie has received, the inclusiveness he has been afforded and his response to this. For most of his life it appears Charlie's only family was his mother and to some extent Kieran's family, and to his credit he does not appear to have been overwhelmed by the sudden expansion of his family. Of all your stories I have read to date @Mark Ponyboy Peters, I am finding this one the greatest surprise. A simple plot thus far, a smaller cast than usual, and to date nothing out of the ordinary taking place. It has a charm all of its own, excelling because of its "ordinariness". It is in my opinion, equally worthy of praise of any of your stories. A truly outstanding story.

Unless 35 year old Adam lives entirely in a world of make believe and none of his recollection actually took place, I am beginning to think there is merit to a comment I made in an earlier chapter that Jamie may be dead. If so, I wonder if it was at the hands of his homophobic father. A very intriguing story thus far @ChromedOutCortex; another slow-burner like Ring, although on this occasion with a mystery part of the storyline, one which has us all guessing.

Brilliantly written by @Josh Aterovis, a story I found profoundly disturbing and upsetting, one which repeatedly challenged my moral compass, and ultimately left me feeling shattered and disillusioned. A realistic portrayal, a fictional account of what occurs on a daily basis for many who find themselves trapped in the same circumstances as Caleb through no fault of their own.

A happy conclusion to a story which I found even more disturbing than Bleeding Hearts @Josh Aterovis. I have given much thought to why I found this story of a wasted life, Caleb's not his fucking father's, so upsetting, and have concluded it is because although fictional, many of the circumstances of Caleb's miserable life exist the world over for many children on a daily basis. Caleb will undoubtedly suffer until the day he dies having never known love or happiness, through no fault of his own. He will be judged harshly as a cold-blooded killer with no consideration of what led him to that behaviour. Hypocrisy at its very worst. A masterpiece @Josh Aterovis which has left me reeling. I am anything but a "disco dancing kitty cat" at present (even though the sun has FINALLY emerged in Sydney, Australia, and I don't have my heating on).

A very challenging read to the very end; I have read the epilogue @Josh Aterovis and am writing some comments here on both. I particularly like the "political" comments made by @drsawzall and yourself above, and could not add anything further other than expletives and a tirade of abuse of those whom you have both identified. The murder of Marco was totally unwarranted and for that Finnegan must be punished. He is clearly somewhat disturbed too, although not as far "advanced" as Caleb. Whilst Caleb is not at all likeable, his behaviour and attitudes are a reflection of his abysmal life. His life is essentially over, a life totally doomed and wasted from an early age because of his violent and abusive father, his spineless mother, his ghastly grandparents and the continual failure of a social system which should have helped him, rather than one which seemingly made it even worse. It is no wonder he lied, manipulated and ultimately murdered. I don't believe he should be punished for his father's murder, nor do I think Finnegan should be punished as an accessory. I have to wonder if the viciousness of the murder is what disturbed many the most, if Caleb had merely shot him once would there have been such outrage.

Nick and Jack appear to be on track in their new relationship as "boyfriends", but given Nick's self-esteem issues and Jack's despicable parents, it could be railroaded at any time. Noah appears to have gone awfully quiet; did he finally get the message from Christian or is he off building an ark? Jonah, he of the impossibly small butt, may need some "tough love" to cure him of the notion that Nick and Jack will embrace him as part of a throuple. Frankly, I don't think either Nick or Jack are equipped to deliver this message, it may have to be Christian who does so. Nick has told him before he loves Jack only, but the message has apparently not been fully received.

Another gem @Rafy. Flawless writing “I was in a relationship. Five years. We broke up two months ago. I needed to get away. Rethink things. Remember who I was before I became… someone else’s idea of me.” and "I felt something sink in my stomach. Not jealousy. Not yet. Just the ache of something unfinished stepping back into the room like it still had a key." Wow, just wow. With these two statements alone, you demonstrated your ability to paint profound despair and regret with the same degree of conviction as frivolity and joy. I found both statements, but particularly the latter, very moving. Tears were shed. In my youth I could have been one of those shirtless Australians which Alex observed. I envisage there would be much I would find appealing about Mykonos, the weather, the bread, the local "talent", but the ever present feral cats would upset greatly. I would want to bring them all home or open a yoga studio with rescue cats as the star attraction. Cruelty to in all its manifestations, and neglect of, non-human animals is what I hate most about our species.

Diva Glamoranza, the perfect drag name @Rafy. I am surprised it has not been the name of a drag queen on RuPaul's Drag Race. It ranks with Alaska Thunderfuck as one of the most memorable drag names I have ever heard.
