WHAT A CHAPTER!!! I don't quite even know what I just read but it was needy, chaotic, cathartic, full of wanting and hesitation, and anger and the releasing of pent-up feelings, in the absolute best way. Goodness. I'm going to re-read it now and take a breath. Masterful to say the least.

First, you write impeccably well. It felt like I was experiencing what each man was feeling as though I were them. The vast descriptions of Rowan's scarred body and the ruggedness of Elias's were magnificent! I'll admit the hetero sex scene through me for a loop in the first chapter, but I see it as but a small detail now. I'm fully invested in this one now and can't wait for more.

I can see how Hunter could love Miguel - he's handsome and charming and tender especially when they're alone. Hunter does seem to have a tendency to sabotage his relationships though. Lots of background info in this chapter about the country, which I enjoyed. I was impressed with Miguel's discussion with Hunter's dad.

Liam's indie movie was a smash hit, earning him accolades he probably never envisioned achieving without Marina's oversight. Matteo, glorious, hilarious Matteo, is Liam's manager in a role he was born to do! And sweet Hudson is still there for Liam in all the ways that matter, including a surprise birthday party while running a successful restaurant! Great chapter! Hunter is so reckless - I kept thinking something was going to happen at the park. He may think he passes as just another gringo but I'm sure the locals know how to spot someone tied to a "diplomat" quite easily. I was surprised somewhat that Miguel is really into Hunter and that he's a bottom. I'm unsure why - just didn't line up with the vibes but I guess it makes sense. The panic bracelet seems like it would make Hunter more of a target too.

I give Hunter credit for at least breaking up with Yeison before going off for the weekend with Miguel. The naked cuddling sounds romantic. I do believe that there will be friction between the friend group amidst the news of the breakup. I want to like Hunter but in some ways, he's just bouncing around looking for the love he doesn't get from his dad and has missed since his mom's death.- 25 comments

Another excellent chapter! I think Liam did record the conversation and that will become the centerpiece of his case against her and the machine and the premise of what sounds like a juicy documentary chronicling how Hollywood grooms its young stars and takes control of their lives. Marina sounded desperate for sure!
