First chapter was excellent and this one was spectacular too. I love a good mm rom-com story so you've got me hooked. I love Charlie & Nick and M&M at the coffee shop already and am eager to hear more about the backstory of Golden Boy & Kody.
-
Glad it wasn't weird between Kent & Randy after the kiss. The banter between the core group of guys is always hilarious and needed when dealing with such an intense backdrop to the story.

Once Juanita leaks the news of the upcoming sequel that should get everyone ramped up about it and would obviously help the original film add on to it's profit. I found it hilarious that Sky's mom wants a cameo in the film, although it's sweet she wants to show her full-throated support to Bransky. The parentals didn't seem scandalized by the sequel's premise either. Sounds like the holidays are heating up.

I kinda figured this kind of chapter was coming eventually. There's unfortunately still a lot of backwards thinking not only in Kentucky but throughout this country. I admire the judge for standing strong and for never letting politics seduce him into turning his back on his son.

The Firework Committee
Modified Cub commented on Richie Tennyson's story chapter in The Firework Committee
Interesting finish, although a bit of a let-down for me, to be honest. There wasn't much resolution. But, it's your story and you can end it how you want. I did love Harriet throughout, and the humor was top notch. I hated how Nicholas treated Richard throughout the story and felt bad that he and Stu became boyfriends despite him knowing how Richard felt about him. -
Damn. Now I want to cry. Thanks for that @kbois. I felt like Miles was heading towards an unhealthy mental state when he got pissy with Troy about him spending time studying with Dutch & Jonah. Then, asking to be fucked so hard he'd feel it for the rest of his days was a dark foreboding of what was to come. Now, I'm worried about his mental state and how it will affect Troy's ability to focus on college. The shit definitely hit the fan. The story title is starting to come into view for many of us now.

Sky was masterful in his convincing argument and caused Brant to really examine his hang-ups regarding an on-screen throuple. I'd bet Harold has already started on the script. I thought it was rather smart & sweet that Sky also requested the same crew they had on LL so as to help them be comfortable filming more intimate scenes. Hector seems to be the likely choice.
-
My thoughts exactly!
-
For the purposes of this story and the movie, a throuple would be a definite challenge for Bransky to navigate but even more of a challenge to their private relationship and marriage.
-
Nice recap of the previous story with a tease of what all could happen in this one and I agree with my friend @dboggs9700 that the way you intermingle sizzle and plot is always welcome. And could Hector cause our heartthrobs some problems?
-
YES!!! I was hoping for a sequel about Hollywood's hottest couple and I love that they're married now. I'm definitely looking forward to this one! Thank you @KKirk ❤️

Vicky is awesome and should be commended for her fortitude and willingness to stand up for same-sex couples and singles like Richard. Harriet continues to shine with her willingness to try and wean Richard from his Nicholas addiction. Stu disappointed me in the way he folded in not appearing with Vicky. Nicholas had some nerve to look cluelessly at Richard in the hallway. The humor in this story is fantastic.

That part where Randy got hurt and immediately afterwards was intense and had me holding my breath. Such a sweet last scene though. Finally, the two lovebirds made a move.

Yay! Meg's alive, for now! And she won 1st place. Troy finally let his dad know about his desire to pursue art and Erik, though surprised, was agreeable with his decision. I know Miles doesn't think he wants to pursue higher education, but with his trust fund, why wouldn't he? I know our esteemed author has reasons for that, but it doesn't make sense to me. The boys finally got to fully consummate their relationship and graduated high school. A pleasant timeline jump again though.
-
Good for Richard for coming out to his mom and her taking it so well - his circle now knows and accepts him - that's positive. Harriet is freaking awesome - such an intelligent, well-rounded young woman who devised a fantastic "Nicholas Plan" and did a masterful job of enlisting Vicky & Mom to help Richard with his addiction. I agree with Vicky that Richard should take his self-portrait to school. i have a feeling Stu would be upset with Nicholas had he known he'd treated Richard like he has but maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part.

Easily one of my favorite stories all-time, especially on GA. This story has everything - family drama, twists & turns you won't see coming, life-altering circumstances. It captivated me from the beginning and held me captive all the way through. You will not be disappointed in getting wrapped up in this one.

Chapter 33: The last step!
Modified Cub commented on vanalas's story chapter in Chapter 33: The last step!
What an absolutely beautiful ending to a fantastic story! The drama, twists & turns, love, and tragedy were all expressed with such fantastic storytelling. This chapter had me fearing for Julan once again and then snowballed into a pleasant, yet tear-inducing finale. I was in tears for most of the chapter and was so elated for Julian & Dean, but also for Aiden & Nathan. I'm in awe of your skills and can't praise you enough @vanalas for sharing this story with us. A masterpiece and one of the best stories I've had the pleasure of reading ever. -
I didn't see the Stu-Nicholas pairing at all. I was mainly bothered by Nicholas's indifference when Richard stumbled upon them - "oh, it's just Richard" - WTF! Alcohol aside, you're perfectly fine with making out with the obviously out Stu but see Richard as lame despite him making an effort by going to the party with you. Maybe the self-portrait will serve as the wake-up call Richard needs. Nicholas is not a great judge of character given how he dissed Harriet - she's awesome.
-
Glad that Richard's dad reacted to his coming out so well. Vicky is definitely planning something bigger. Mom continues to be drunk most of the time. Nicholas is still playing games with Richard and avoiding him. I agree with the others - it's beyond time for Richard to move on!
-
Great chapter! Brent will probably try it again. Andy should have let the security team know what happened.
-
Nickolas has probably been running his mouth about Richard because why else would he randomly be called f****t by a passer-by. Richard is more mature than his mother or sister but obtuse. Dickoless doesn't really want to be with him.
-
Everyone's partying tonight except Richard, who save for a few minutes off-stage with Dickoless, has had a pretty crappy evening. The protest went over mostly successfully. Stu will eventually get tired of Richard's attitude even though he's into Richard more than Dickoless ever will be - all he cares about is being popular and having his way with Richard when it's convenient for him.
-
Hopefully Meg will be okay... Troy & Miles seem to be moving along well in their relationship so I'm sure something's about to happen to cause drama. I honestly thought you might have the boys in an accident on their way to the hospital just to add another layer. Meg's chief concerns, should she make it, will probably be about SuzyQ, if she won, and then her future in the sport. Sorry you had a rough start to your day though @kbois

Kurtis and Tony are hitting it off well thus far and I think it's fantastic that Tony is hosting his team for Christmas dinner. I am appreciative of your efforts to post especially with a new job and all the demands and adjustments that entails. I like the unique plot of this one.
