    Driving Lessons

Thanks for the feedback Jim, and I must admit that with so many characters it tough to go into too much detail about each one. As far as Owen is concerned, he realizes he and Ryan live too far apart now to make Ryan commit to just him, and he's known that Ryan is bisexual from the beginning, so I believe this is more like a Shannon and Nick relationship. We'll have to wait and see how it all works out.

    Driving Lessons

Thanks, Butcher, and I'm glad you're enjoying this. The trips serve multiple purposes and give the family a little distraction. The trips to the nursing home allow the kids to pay attention the their mom and Alice and they enjoy doing that as well. Thanks for the feedback.

Don't get too far ahead of me. Just enjoy the chapters as they come out.

Maybe and maybe not, but thanks for the feedback.
  5. When Brandon and I got home from work on Saturday, we changed quickly and went down to have lunch with the rest of the family. While we were eating, I decided to inform the boys about what we were going to do. “As soon as you finish your lunch we’re going to do something a little different, and I think you’ll enjoy it.” “Why? What are we doing?” Benny wanted to know. “We’re going to a go-kart track, and they have four-wheelers there as well.” “You mean we’re gonna get to driv
  6. Thank you, Brandon, and I'm glad you enjoy this series. I've had many people tell me they've read these multiple times, which tells me the hard work was worth the effort.
  7. Thanks again for the feedback, Jim, and I'm playing with your idea of having Trey narrate Book 4 if I do one.

Thanks for the comment, Jim, and I'll keep it in mind as we go forward.

    A Trial Weekend

Thanks, Jim, I appreciate your comment and I'll try not to disappoint you.
  10. I find it funny that you think of it this way. I grew up on my grandfather's farm, which he had his children (two sons and five daughters) did all the work, and I also worked on my neighbor's farm with his sons and two daughters, and in neither case did the girls seem any less capable than the boys. As far as slave labor, anything they raise on the farm is for their use on the farm, and it teaches the kids that they can help take care of the farm, thus in turn taking care of themselves. I'm sure if you go to any mid-western family farms that you'll find both boys and girls sharing the work, and although we should all be aware of the risks and dangers, they will have to learn to avoid putting themselves in such predicaments. Life is full of dangers, but we don't avoid everything that might put us at risk. Thank you for your feedback.
  11. Jim, It's definitely possible the the recently married boys may be having children soon, so well have to wait and see. As far as Robert goes, he's still playing the field and hasn't settled down. I've never though about Trey writing one of the books, seeing it was Danny and Brandon who took over for Josh, but it's something I'll consider.

    A Parting Gift

Thanks for the feedback, Butcher, and this has been an interesting time. Hubbard appears to have been dealt with, which Graham verified, so things should settle down. Becky and Revin are being accepted as part of the extended family and everything is working out for all of them. Yes, that would have been expensive for Josh.
  13. Yes, Brandon, you're probably right about that, and thanks for the feedback.

    Solving a Problem

The best reading is a series of highs and lows, but I hope I don't make you cry. There's a long way to go with this, so hang in there and thanks for the feedback.
  16. Dad called the contractor on Monday and explained the situation to him. The man said he could stop by that afternoon to measure the walls so he could see what materials he’d need and estimate how long the job would take. Dad told him that would be fine and he’d see him later. The contractor and one of his employees showed up shortly after Dad had finished fixing the boys lunch, so he took the men upstairs and showed him what needed to be done. They measured both sides of each wall and did s

    Special Moments

Sorry for the screw up, Xander. I guess I had a lot of responses when I sent that and got confused.
  18. Jim, you've brought up a lot, so let me see if I can answer some questions for you. First of all, the story is set in a fictional community just north of the center of the southern border. As far as the relationship, many of the boys are in gay relationships (Danny/Brandon, Dion/Trey, Kevin/Vinnie, Shannon/Nick), while others are married or in a hetero relationship (Dustin, Cole, Pat, Ricky, Frankie), and others remain single (Graham, Sammy, Andrew, Richard/Little Ricky). Now that the story is focused on the next generation we will be dealing with their lives and problems, but we'll occasionally see the others as well. With Graham, Sammy, and Andrew all being teachers and living together, they're probably still messing around with each other as well, but even though the boys didn't mind messing around with each other when they were younger, I didn't feel they'd all end up being gay. Well see the others again at family functions and special events, so I hope that will suffice. I'm glad you're enjoying this series and I know the Cody and Brent story lines were rough on some of you, I'm glad to know you're still hanging in with me. All the best and I hope I answered your questions.

    A Currie Christmas

Thanks, Butcher, and others have relayed similar stories like this to me after I gave Graham this ability. There is definitely more in this world than what everyone is able to experience with their senses.

    New Horizons

Thanks again for the feedback, Butcher, and I'm glad you're enjoying this story. Yes, Tristan got his first experience with sex and he still has a while to figure out who he is, but he can still have fun in the interim.

    A Currie Christmas

Thank you for the feedback, Butcher, and this has become a very close knit family, which includes the biological children, the adopted boys, and the many friends who've become part of the group. Those who have passed away are still there in spirit to help them with Hubbard and Abernathy. Hubbard has been a pain in their sides since the boys were in high school, and not even death stopped his attacks, so now the family is joining forces to handle them.

    Much to Do

Thanks again for the feedback, Butcher, and I believe your correct about Tristan's dad. What happened did seem intentional, but fortunately he didn't count on Tristan having his bedroom door closed, thus messing up his father's plans. I'm sure he'll do well at the Hotel, although he has some rough times ahead as he adjusts to his parent's deaths, but I'm sure the family will take good care of him.

Thanks, Wesley, and none of those three are.

    Growing Tension

Thanks for the feedback. ColumbusGuy. Yes, I post on several sites, but always first on GA. You'll always get the most updated chapters here. As far as the love triangle, I believe you are correct. Holly enjoys their friendliness but doesn't seem to be interested in a romantic encounter. We'll see if that changes or stays the same.
