  1. Yes, the addition of a new baby does seem to lift everyone's spirits - the Curries and the readers.
  2. You never know what professions the boys are going to choose, so you'll have to wait and see. Possibly one of them will turn out to be a chef as well.
  3. Thank you, Danilo, and I'm glad you enjoyed this little tale. I'll be posting another Halloween story each day through Friday, so I hope you enjoy those as well.
  4. Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
  5. Thanks, Tony. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
  6. Yes, Wyatt is finally happy that his baby brother is home. I'm also glad for the people who have paid family leave, but in the states it's not as common. It depends on the company you work for or the contract of the school district you're employed by. It's not universal, but we're working on it.
  7. Thanks, Wesley. I guess I should take stock out in Kleenex and Scott tissues... lol Yes, the boys are all excited about meeting TJ and everyone is excited that he's finally home. It should lead into an interesting holiday season.
  8. This all started in my freshman year in high school when a new student showed up in one of my classes. It was the middle of the first week of school when there was a knock at the door of my biology classroom. When the teacher waved for the person to enter, in walked a handsome boy, the same age as me. He had an unblemished, lightly tanned face, perfectly straight white teeth, milk chocolate colored eyes and hair, and a shy smile. He handed the teacher a note, and while the teacher was reading it
  9. John and Chris met in high school, but it wasn’t until their junior year in college when they undergo a truly terrifying experience. It happened after a trip to Alcatraz just before Halloween, but you’ll have to read the story to find out what happened to them. (Halloween story)
  10. Thanks, Tony. I'm glad you're enjoying this tale and that you consider me in the same breath as those who keep their history alive via oral traditions. Even though the Currie family doesn't exist in real life, they will most likely last as long as the internet continues to survive. It's a very humbling thought. I'm staying safe and doing fairly well, and I hope you and my other fans are doing the same. This is a tough period in the history of the world, and if we're careful and follow the guidelines, most of us will continue to survive. I wish all of you well.
  11. Thanks, Butcher, and I agree with everything you said. TJ will be getting a lot of love and attention, and Josh will be in the middle of it as his fathers, brothers, and cousins get used to returning to school. It will be a truly interesting time.
  12. During breakfast on Tuesday morning, Danny made a comment. “I’m going to stop by to examine TJ after work, if you want to stick around until I get there.” “Yes, we’ll do that,” Dion and I agreed. “Ok, I’ll see you then.” Once again, Dion and I were extremely nervous, yet excited, as we went through the day at school. Would Danny release TJ this time or would we have to wait a little longer? Only time would tell. As soon as the final bell rang, Joshie and Benny met us at the
  13. Thanks, Stix, and Disney put their own special touches on the Grimm brothers' fairy tales. Made them a little gentler for children to relate to, since the brothers Grimm's tales were often quite gory.
  14. Yes, TJ is coming home soon, we found out a little more about Jesse, and the family will soon be starting to plan the Haunted House for this year. I hope you all enjoy it.
  15. Yes, I believe those were the Golden Books for kids. There was also the Disney version of those stories as well. I'm glad you're enjoying TJ.
  16. Thanks, James. I'm glad you are enjoying this series.
  17. School started on Monday and all of the boys looked nice when they left the house. Danny and Brandon took Xander to the elementary school before they went to work, so they could enroll him. They also took Wyatt with them so he could help to show Xander around after they headed to work. They told me later what happened, so I’ll relay that information now. They went to the office first, filled out the required paperwork, and were told which teacher Xander would have. They then took him to the
  18. Thanks, James, and I agree. TJ will be spoiled by all parties to a certain extent, at least when he first comes home. After a while he'll just be accepted by them as another member of the family, but it should all go well.
  19. Thanks, flesco. I'm glad you're enjoying this continuing saga. Yes, Josh has had plenty of experience with children of all ages and has shone like a bright star the entire time. I think we've all seen how the children have responded to him, no matter their age, and this should be no different. Danny, Brandon, Dion, and Trey are preparing for their weekend away, leaving Josh and Jake with the boys, and I'm sure it will all go well.
  20. Thanks, flesco. The birthday party gave you a chance to catch up on some characters we don't see very often as they honored Josh. You will be hearing more about Graham's student in upcoming chapters and I'm glad you are enjoying this little tale.
  21. Thanks, Jim. Teachers do have a lot of prep beforehand, but I'm sure the boys have their plans, and I'm sure you're right about Wyatt as well. He's been looking forward to meeting his new brother and you know how patient kids can be.
  22. Thanks, Tony, for both your comments on the chapter and your well wishes. Yes, TJ seems to be taking to Josh quickly, so there should be no problem with Josh watching him while Dion and Trey return to work.
  23. Thanks, Danilo.
  24. Yes, babies can tell a lot by the sound of your voice and the expression on your face, and Josh has had a lot of practice being around kids.
  25. We didn’t get a chance to check out Dad’s new car until we came home from the hospital for dinner on Monday, because we were busy until after dark yesterday and Jake drove it to work this morning. They’d purchased a blue 2019 Toyota Avalon to replace their 2016 silver Toyota Avalon, so it wasn’t a huge change. “I like the color, but this car isn’t that different from your old one,” observed Dion, “although it does have a few newer gadgets on it.” “Yes, we realize that, but the other ca
