    After we got out of work the following Saturday, we rushed home to eat and change, and then we did our chores quickly, so we would be finished before it was time to go down to pick up Ryan.     Thanks for the feedback, Butcher. This was a very difficult chapter for me to write because it was based on an incident that happened to a young man I knew. Unfortunately, he didn't survive his first use of ecstasy. I opted to let Dustin live and use it as a lesson for others, and hopefully no one who read this chapter suffered a similar fate.

    Than you for the feedback, Butcher. Yes, the family is growing and the boys have asked Josh to give other boys the same chance that he gave them. You'll hear more about the Judge as the story progresses, because he will become an integral part of the story.

    Thanks, flesco, and you've summarize the chapter very well. As the Brits might say, it could be a bit of a sticky wicket between Noah-Ryan-Holly, since there's obviously a competition for her attention. We'll have to see how that works out, but the other boys seem to be doing quite well. Thanks for the feedback.

    The following week was pretty uneventful, at least until Friday night. That happened to be Holly’s birthday, so we held a surprise party for her after we finished eating dinner.     Thanks for the feedback, Butcher. You're right, Cole and Graham have been through a lot, but hopefully things are about to get better for them. I believe you're correct about what Josh is going to do for them next, so Cole and Graham will be able to thrive now. You're also correct about other children going through similar situations as Cole and Graham, and we can only pray that there are people like Josh out there who will step in to help them.

    Yes, it was an interesting discussion between Josh and Ricky, so early in their time together. Ricky has a big heart, though, and was willing to share, and Danny is fitting in nicely.
