    Chapter 5

What a bastard you are Mr. Arbour, THIS was the crying chapter....

    Chapter 75

My thoughts on the next chapter (s).. Caroline starts to push back with rumours of Travers and Calvert with George. Countess von Lieven appears pregnant with Georges child. King banished Caroline to estate as slanderous lier. Major Jardine returns to Yorkshire and meets Holmquist leading to a duel over Arthur. George stops it by arranging all three sent overseas, Arthur as governor, Jardine as Equerie and Holmquist as servant. All three happy and depart. Cousin Catherine Parr Lindsay arrived and marriage to Freck is arranged, she has deformed arm due to horse accident. They bond well and her innocence protects Freck and she becomes pregnant Mother leaves Duke of Norfolk to run Georges household and has no plans to leave allowing George to return to sea. Chartley and Batu arrive and like the Indian servants of the time a but like a private secretary but falls under the purview of the butler and stay at Portland house . Just thinking 🤔 😕 😌

    Chapter 75

Cheevers.... two of them in this series, book one as a stewart to Sir Evelyn Fellows, and again the butler at Portland Place, are they related or one and the same!? Just an eye for unusual circumstances.
  4. This has to be the best series that I have read on this site. When you start and you are drawn into this historical setting, have a globe or Google map open along with Wikipedia! It will add so much more to the story. The author slowly teaches us about unusual facts of history and mores of the period. This Australian leant about "Jay Law" in Philadelphia USA, and the Winter Palace of St Petersburg in the time of the czars . Honestly, dreamt of the protagonists and wished that I could play with George myself. Truly an amazing author, I would pay for these books willingly and I would not normally be drawn to a setting of George the third, but think "Bridgeton" meets "the Onedin Line" (bbc drama),

    Chapter 75

My partner asked if I was upset, I said that I vexed, and truthfully I am. I love the Bridgemont series and recommend it wholeheartedly, but please!!!! I think poor George Granger deserves a faster delivery than we are getting, begging your pardon my Lord..

    Chapter 37

I am loving this series, but I wonder about the Order of Carlos the second, sometimes it is referred to as Carlos the Third...
  7. Really love your stories, this one reminded me (tiny bit) of both Dan Brown and Patricia Cornell. Wonderful, thank you

    Chapter 23

    Loving this series!

    Chapter 7

Thank you! Us Australian peeps have the AFP

    Chapter 7

Mary looked towards the stares.. should that be stairs? Easily overlooked in a very emotional chapter

    Chapter 4

Your descriptions of loneliness resonated with me and I am sure many of us readers throughout our lives have experienced this despair, perhaps of ever finding a like minded person to belong / care / love. Or even just understanding what you feel. Beautiful and thank you.

    Chapter 1

I can already see why this was the number one in the listing for Dec 22! Brilliant start indeed
  13. The comments are just fabulous 👌, story as well, such crazy ideas from fertile minds!

    On Fire

Well, @drpaladin, thank you for the reply. You are in some details correct and my first apology was to use the word “promising”, a poor choice and on reflection more than a little snarky and unwarranted. Sometimes the Australian in me just leaps out in its directness. Our paths have crossed in other stories (a Venn diagram would have Korner Krew in its centre) and currently I am reading 3 on the go serialised stores that are not completed, so if I have given the impression that completed stories was my reading style, it is not. I do not resile from my critique and I also enjoy the immediacy of the serialised stories, I feel I understand how Charles Dickens readers felt waiting for the next weekly chapter to upload / be published. The anticipation is marvellous. However, as a reader, (and this is just my opinion) I want more story and less hard core sex. If it helps to develop and move a story ahead then yes, but in this instance and so far into a story, less is more. Chapter 111 has been published and my request, by chance, was answered and perhaps if I had been more patient...

    On Fire

This is very slow burn story. I started when it was at chapter 102 and thought it might be completed by 110. Sadly mistaken, reading this like a completed story meant that I was not waiting for a chapter to upload. By chapter 23, thought its good, but sometimes the sex interfered with the story, by chapter 76 it was irritating me. A great descriptive writer, but almost an entire chapter devoted to the leads having sex without the story moving forward is not what I had expected. I want to know about the court case, future employment, what of the brothers sharing their home, their lives have moved from centre circle to almost out the door. Seems to me that this promising author needs a strong editor and beta reader to get a sharper and more satisfying story

    Chapter 40

I have just now left a review (5 stars naturally). I am one of those people whose job it is to listen to call recordings for a Bank. Yes, we exist and yes, many fascinating stories to tell. My actual strength is in child psychology which is why I do this job, the intellectually disabled children were wonderful, parents not so much, but a side was having to learn Auslan sign language. Any help you want for rude words, in sign language, im your man! I was suppose to be reviewing a conversation but instead reading your book. No one has the nerve to question what it is that I am laughing at and you dont know how much I want to be part of the Australian and New Zealand chapter of the Korner Krew. Space for all in a multidimensional universe @kbois. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤

    Chapter 37

I wonder if he (?) Takes dog treats, humm probably sausage if im not mistaken,

    Chapter 37

I started the first story and moved to this one. The lovely and entertaining author told me to read the comments as well, and i have been. Its like read a chapter then joining a boisterous happy book group. @kbois what a writer! @Mrsgnomie, clearly the gatekeeper and head mistress of the Korner Krew. @weinerdog, cheeky chops really and I love the family dynamics like 57 hundred children/teens shouting at each other good naturedly. @drpaladin sarnky bites and poor @scrubber6620, wondering what the hell is going on! like you, my time zone is different from most, AEST . Australian standard eastern time. Looking forward to the next chapter and will have to check out stories by @Mrsgnomie and others. Loving the whole box and Dice. (KH might regret taking a 6 year old, very annoying things overall with bazillion questions and snarks!)

    Chapter 8

I wonder if the laptop is in a locker in his mums school.. rather than dad having it hidden, why not mum be the bad-ass.
  20. Darryl62

    Chapter 5

The chapter made my cry, the comments made me smile. Thank you all from this now orphaned guy. The words were exactly what I had felt at the time of my parents funerals, and the warm camaraderie and banter made me feel welcomed. @kbois what a wonder you are..

    Chapter 1

Oh....! My. Wicked lady author. I moved from first book straight to the second book still on an adrenalin high. Fell to earth with no parachute ."shivers" and followed your recommendation to read the comments thistime. What a lovely family you here sweetie ❤
  22. Darryl62

    Chapter 2

I am from New Zealand and lived in Christchurch! How lovely it was to have my homeland appear!
  23. Darryl62

    Chapter 1

This is my second time reading this story, the first time I didn't read any comments as I was able to devour it without distraction. A masterpiece ✨ 👏 🙌 👌 💜
  24. Darryl62

    Chapter 1

I concur with the other comments, loved it. Having two girls in my life I know how true Gideons words were and how accepting of unusual events young children are. Again, I Loved it. Thank you

    Chapter 1

I found you thanks to your recognition on this site as "Newest Promising Author " Enjoyed the 2nd short story and was reminded of Lucifer as Neil Gaiman envisaged ( rather than the Netflix version ), whimsical, flirty and honest. Will keep an eye out for more that might "pop" along. Will give your shifter story a go and see if you have given @Headstall "Morningstar" a good run for the money...
