My my @PrivateTim, Is it perhaps possible for you to post a charming positive comment on occasion? We all enjoy the series and the comments mostly are light hearted and frequently insightful, denigrating other comments and commentators has a negative impact and may perhaps cause others to not be so open if they perhaps feel under attack for their point of view.

I so agree! My own family and my partners family are in the top 10% of the wealthy in both Australia, New Zealand and India. The drama in our lives are reflected in all families and money does nothing to stop grief over the death of a loved one. My mission is to spend money on helping people less fortunate and teaching my girls that money is only a resource for good. Mind you, one of my own siblings have a passing resemblance to Elizabeth Dranfield and her grasping ways leave me cold.

I was quite surprised and pleased to get the email notification and also that I have read so many on the list!. Also a number that I may not have found and I appreciate the way they have been organised. Lots of lovely summer reading 📚 for those of us in the southern hemisphere

Really enjoying the story and the passing reference to our friends at Larkspur.

Reminder to self not to piss off @akascrubber....hahaha 🙂. My thoughts were to have done to Curtis what was done to that poor girl, then I hear my mother's voice going, "now now.. that is not the way to behave "

Clearly I have an over-active imagination based upon my comments in the last chapter against what actually played out. !!! BTW, My absolute favourite pieces of writing are John's imitation of Claire speaking, my brother does the same..

My thoughts lead me back to Jacobs parents, what if his fathers were the missing lovers? Jacob being a mix of both Nave and Skai. Is he the secret long planned bridge between implacable enemies?

A Yellow interpol notice would be issued rather than a Red notice ( as a minor). It may be that Elizabeth Danfield has a deal with Curtis Buck for money... and what about Alexandria Carmichael also lurking in the background would be looking for any inconvenience to the family.. just sayin 😌 😏 😉

As a New Zealander, I remember the Rainbow Warrior debacle well.

I'm number 22 to comment! A few thoughts about what happens next... @Mark ArbourStef arranges for a small explosion on the boat. Staged so that the lads appear to be below deck while everyone is at the stern enjoying light refreshments . No one injured but boat sinks.. Will and Travis swim to shore and collected and off to Paris to stay in the apartment. All safe but police don't have whereabouts for 10 days until press conference , big reveal. Stef tired of the boat, blames Curtis for attempted murder (and arranging funds via Mexican cartel been done before)... over-active imagination perhaps?

I have a fear that Jubal will let slip and possibly misinterpret Lucas. I can understand the butterflies that being near a guy that you really like both intellectually and physically and the worry of stepping up to fast. You have a delicious agony between them - between wanting a friendship and possibly more... a real slow burn.. beautiful

I am enjoying the long slow getting to know each other and the tension between the two hidden beneath the banter. The writing as spoken is marvellous and gives a gritty feel to the tale. Missed you and your around the camp fire stories Mr. Headstall.

I am seeing Portland place, Bridgemont house and thankfully the Earl and Duke are allies. @PrivateTim, i agree about Brad ramping up with authorities. @Mark Arbour.. tension and tenterhooks!!!

I think that the clue to Travis father is in the Men in Motion, chapter called "Spring Break." Max was complaining about his prior boyfriend who makes an appearance after a short affair with a unnamed woman ...hes called Lark

Ohhh, is Travis hiding out on the yacht? I would not put it past Stef...

As we all know, revenge is a dish best served cold. Once Caroline has calmed down, she will ask for an annual allowance and the deeds to a property that is suitable for a Countess. But she is scheming and I fear that she may be using Davina as a pawn or spy for evidence, such as a letter to or from George to one of the many (many) lovers. I would not let Davina in the house without a constant servant in attendance

Send Travis to Australia to stay with Connie for the month, Will can pay, along with a guard or two?

I think might have to go back to "Man in Motion " which is set in 1985, perhaps there is a throw away line from one of the men about a hook up... and Travis is the result. Our esteemed author (yes, ♥) is cunning enough to set the trap well in advance... and Travis can just ring his mother and say, "if I were to get a DNA test, would I get a surprise?"
-
Scott was "a little freaked out when he met Travis"... perhaps that was the clue at the beginning of the chapter????

I guess I'm meant to revisit traumatic moments in my life this year.

My anti gay sister died a month ago, we were long estranged. I went to the funeral for my other siblings, not for myself but to support them. Perhaps you need your friends support now and allow them to help care about you while you show your care about them. Just a thought ( mentally giving a hug and pat on the shoulder) -
I wonder if the charm pocketed by Jamie from Skoda perhaps has a tracking homing signal within? Would be a safe bet that it does...
