    Chapter 7

Mary looked towards the stares.. should that be stairs? Easily overlooked in a very emotional chapter

    Chapter 4

Your descriptions of loneliness resonated with me and I am sure many of us readers throughout our lives have experienced this despair, perhaps of ever finding a like minded person to belong / care / love. Or even just understanding what you feel. Beautiful and thank you.

    Chapter 1

I can already see why this was the number one in the listing for Dec 22! Brilliant start indeed
  4. The comments are just fabulous 👌, story as well, such crazy ideas from fertile minds!

    Chapter 40

I have just now left a review (5 stars naturally). I am one of those people whose job it is to listen to call recordings for a Bank. Yes, we exist and yes, many fascinating stories to tell. My actual strength is in child psychology which is why I do this job, the intellectually disabled children were wonderful, parents not so much, but a side was having to learn Auslan sign language. Any help you want for rude words, in sign language, im your man! I was suppose to be reviewing a conversation but instead reading your book. No one has the nerve to question what it is that I am laughing at and you dont know how much I want to be part of the Australian and New Zealand chapter of the Korner Krew. Space for all in a multidimensional universe @kbois. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤

    Chapter 37

I started the first story and moved to this one. The lovely and entertaining author told me to read the comments as well, and i have been. Its like read a chapter then joining a boisterous happy book group. @kbois what a writer! @Mrsgnomie, clearly the gatekeeper and head mistress of the Korner Krew. @weinerdog, cheeky chops really and I love the family dynamics like 57 hundred children/teens shouting at each other good naturedly. @drpaladin sarnky bites and poor @scrubber6620, wondering what the hell is going on! like you, my time zone is different from most, AEST . Australian standard eastern time. Looking forward to the next chapter and will have to check out stories by @Mrsgnomie and others. Loving the whole box and Dice. (KH might regret taking a 6 year old, very annoying things overall with bazillion questions and snarks!)

    Chapter 8

I wonder if the laptop is in a locker in his mums school.. rather than dad having it hidden, why not mum be the bad-ass.

    Chapter 5

The chapter made my cry, the comments made me smile. Thank you all from this now orphaned guy. The words were exactly what I had felt at the time of my parents funerals, and the warm camaraderie and banter made me feel welcomed. @kbois what a wonder you are..

    Chapter 1

Oh....! My. Wicked lady author. I moved from first book straight to the second book still on an adrenalin high. Fell to earth with no parachute ."shivers" and followed your recommendation to read the comments thistime. What a lovely family you here sweetie ❤

    Chapter 2

I am from New Zealand and lived in Christchurch! How lovely it was to have my homeland appear!

    Chapter 1

This is my second time reading this story, the first time I didn't read any comments as I was able to devour it without distraction. A masterpiece ✨ 👏 🙌 👌 💜

    Chapter 1

I concur with the other comments, loved it. Having two girls in my life I know how true Gideons words were and how accepting of unusual events young children are. Again, I Loved it. Thank you

    Chapter 1

I found you thanks to your recognition on this site as "Newest Promising Author " Enjoyed the 2nd short story and was reminded of Lucifer as Neil Gaiman envisaged ( rather than the Netflix version ), whimsical, flirty and honest. Will keep an eye out for more that might "pop" along. Will give your shifter story a go and see if you have given @Headstall "Morningstar" a good run for the money...

    Cancer sucks!

I did think of asking if your last two stories could be merged? Chapter each leading to the current situation, especially when D'gar founf the evil one and our young candidates were speculating! Just a thought, no writing required, just judicious weaving of the two stores "Gone away, gone ahead" and "To the Wyer"

    Cancer sucks!

Heartbreaking to read your news. 10 years ago I was given a 90% death rate for mine and through gritted teeth and 12 weeks radiation treatment and 3 bouts of Chemo I am not the same man at all. Loss of body parts as well. People mean well but often just piss you off at times. Really sadden by your revelation. Thanks for the joy you bring to thousands 😀

    Hill of Candles

I feel strangely soothed by this lovingly crafted story. Not short by any means, rich and compelling. Thank you
  18. Dear Author, i have loved your stories and left a review, did you write another where Kellar and Tobyn come across Connor old BF Brian and teach him such a lesson that he is unable to continue working for the police and they free another young man from his basdardry? Did I dream this or just wishful thinking after watching the film "Three Billboards outside Ebbing? Such a loooonnnggg wait between the first Morningstar and now... those characters are so embedded in my brain!! Please Please, please 🙏
  19. Merida is the sister to Vikkel, surprised that he hasn't attempted to marry her off the another holder, but free labour and all that...

    Crisis

Dear @gabz2000, loved the story, early on I stopped reading the comments as I liked not only the narrative but also the style of language and thought that your readers were being overly critical. Being a speaker of Australian, New Zealand and Thailand english means that I think that I understand idioms better. I am curious about Chris dad and his uncle going on a date together (spoiler?), and that perhaps Stoker university (loved the homage to Bram Stoker) is still on the cards part time in both Earth and the Realm. I confess that I thought that Eatalos was a bad'un and a spy for Prince H. Might still be... and glad that the rest of the planet got a look in!!!. Take care sweetie, we are here for you if you need us. ❤

    An Announcement

I really love the way that this story ties in with the previous 2 books Mawgrim has written here. So well crafted and knitted together. A joy to read from the other point of view and like the other readers, always pleased to get the email notification of another chapter! Thank you 😊
  22. Thank you for so much information about weyr life! We all knew about the shoulder knots, but it did not occur to me that the others living in the weyr would also be the same. Loved the snippets of daily life given away and the clear distinction between how thin and scrawyn our leads are to the others in the weyr. I felt the feeling of warm welcome and how for the lads it would be like all possibilities are open to them 😀 😊

    Aftermath

My thoughts are that it might be difficult to not only get slate for roofing but also people trained in installing it correctly. Might be a general panic after 200 turns of various Holds wanting to see to all kinds of repairs that haven't been fixed (or a reed thatch repair). Mind be hard even if you had the Marks to spend as the bigger Holds with more people will take priority .

    The High Pastures

I am so pleased that Kimi has gotten away. I have resisted going back to previous stories of yours to see if she makes/ made an appearance. It also seems that it would be a perfect time for the lads to abandon the flock and also make a dash for the weyr, if they thought about it, they could get word back to Pinnacle Hold that they were safe and had survived the earthquake putting Kadins mother mind at ease. Excellent chapter!!! Loved it

    Family Matters

Well dear Author , spun quite the curve ball there, did not expect this chapter at all! Mark of experience I guess to keep your reader guessing. Most enjoyable and atmospheric! Thanks again !
