    Chapter 95

You know, now that it appears that Jake is the father of Travis, Curtis is going to see a conspiracy that it was all planned to ruin him ... hopefully almost everyone gets to Travis family dinner including Jake and Brad...cue lightening and thunderstorm!!!

    Chapter 95

We are so use to a convoluted story line that our esteemed author throws down a "slow ball" (a Cricket term) and we all fell for it. Tension ebbs away, but still want to know about the Buck family dinner!

    Chapter 11

12.30in the morning here in Australia. Perfect timing...

    Chapter 1

    Lovely, lovely, lovely!

    Chapter 94

I'm with you @spyke, I think they are either uncle and nephew or half brothers, but NOT father and son based upon Jakes own words. (Very bad Sharon!, Haha 😄)

    Chapter 9

I dont understand the reference?. Google hasn't helped 😕 😐

    Chapter 9

Me thinks whomever poisoned Calab might still be in the pack, cant recall any mention of eating special meals... and uf was done on pack lands, how many involved 😳

    Chapter 9

I am curious if Asa was to touch heads with Silas and Rosalie, would he be able to assist with their longevity as in repair weakened bones and eyesight...? Would be nice gift to them and the pack.
  9. Me too!
  10. What an unexpected find! At the moment the world is holding its breath while we wait for Israel response to the terrorism of Hamas. This is such a beautiful love story that allowed a non Jew insight into a religious way of life without being to in-depth or preachy. This needs a wider audience and I was very glad to be introduced to this author.

    Chapter 7

Loving every line! Thanks Boss lady.

    Chapter 92

I'm with you @Canuk, a sad day here regarding the Constitutional referendum. But our beloved author @Mark Arbour has provided us all a welcome respite!

    Chapter 80

Oh, damn you @Mark Arbour, you made me cry at the end of the chapter. George is so stoic, real depths showing themselves,.

    Chapter 91

Your wish is granted! Just now arrived

    Chapter 13

OMG, I fully agree, but the reality is 12,500 words is the same as perhaps 10 chapters from other writers. This is such a full rich and exciting novel to read. Each chapter not only moves the story along but throws more questions into the mix. With the monthly upload I always refresh by rereading the previous chapter. Most excellent @The Writer X. Thank you 😊 💓

    Chapter 90

Ah, yes I see. Wealth in the USA is definitely not the same as in India or elsewhere. $152k here is an average income. My point was more about sharing the wealth rather than hoarding it, and it also doesn't preclude the person from heartbreak or emotional pain. My prior comment was meant to be a playful dig about intensity of commentary

    Chapter 90

My my @PrivateTim, Is it perhaps possible for you to post a charming positive comment on occasion? We all enjoy the series and the comments mostly are light hearted and frequently insightful, denigrating other comments and commentators has a negative impact and may perhaps cause others to not be so open if they perhaps feel under attack for their point of view.

    Chapter 90

I so agree! My own family and my partners family are in the top 10% of the wealthy in both Australia, New Zealand and India. The drama in our lives are reflected in all families and money does nothing to stop grief over the death of a loved one. My mission is to spend money on helping people less fortunate and teaching my girls that money is only a resource for good. Mind you, one of my own siblings have a passing resemblance to Elizabeth Dranfield and her grasping ways leave me cold.

  20. I was quite surprised and pleased to get the email notification and also that I have read so many on the list!. Also a number that I may not have found and I appreciate the way they have been organised. Lots of lovely summer reading 📚 for those of us in the southern hemisphere
  21. Really enjoying the story and the passing reference to our friends at Larkspur.

    Chapter 89

Reminder to self not to piss off @akascrubber....hahaha 🙂. My thoughts were to have done to Curtis what was done to that poor girl, then I hear my mother's voice going, "now now.. that is not the way to behave "

    Chapter 89

Clearly I have an over-active imagination based upon my comments in the last chapter against what actually played out. !!! BTW, My absolute favourite pieces of writing are John's imitation of Claire speaking, my brother does the same..
  24. Darryl62

    Chapter 12

My thoughts lead me back to Jacobs parents, what if his fathers were the missing lovers? Jacob being a mix of both Nave and Skai. Is he the secret long planned bridge between implacable enemies?

    Chapter 88

A Yellow interpol notice would be issued rather than a Red notice ( as a minor). It may be that Elizabeth Danfield has a deal with Curtis Buck for money... and what about Alexandria Carmichael also lurking in the background would be looking for any inconvenience to the family.. just sayin 😌 😏 😉
