I'm really intrigued by this salty, historic story. It reminds me of the 'Hornblower' books, but with so much more sexual tension. I like the combination of historic seafaring detail, and the restrained sexual and romantic attraction. I can't wait to see what happens!

This is a sensitive story of love and loss. I had been avoiding it as I'm grieving for my long term partner. However the combination of past and present in the story is somehow comforting. Great storytelling, and I want to know more, please!

Thank you for the story of Sam and Ben. Super romantic and sexy, but also successfully tackling huge themes of love, loyalty, death, forgiveness, redemption, family (whether biological or chosen), and God. There is great wisdom, kindness and psychological insight in the story. And, by the way, the sex scenes are incredibly erotic and full of love. I'm on my second read!

I don't usually read any stories that are described as 'alternate universe' or 'magic', but I'm really enjoying this! I'm engaged by all the characters, interested in the setting, and excited by the plot. Please keep the episodes coming! Thank you!
