  1. Not to mention, if this guy fesses up, I'll betcha his film would be funded pretty damn fast. He's a moron for going behind your back and not tapping into the Comsie-market to begin with. I mean seriously?! LOL Dude... 17 years of GFD and an army of Comicality freaks... this guy clearly wasn't thinking.
  2. 2 Below is definitely my favourite short story as well! I've lost count at how many times I've read it, especially since he published it to Kindle And actually, most of my own stories are written with the hope of recapturing that same emotion I felt when I first read 2 Below. It influenced my life that much! I should probably also mention that 2 Below was also one of the first stories I had ever read in this particular genre
  3. That looks freaken awesome! How come you didn't share this video on the Shack!? Or did I miss it?
  4. And the sequel shall be "Ode to the Grammar Check"? This was great! Thanks.
  5. I really didn't want to vote But in the end I had to choose characters. The way I see it, both the plot and the characters are equally important. They work hand in hand. Without the characters the plot won't go anywhere, and without the plot all you've got is a bunch of people hanging out. It's really unfair that you made me choose
  6. Wait a minute! Why are you posting stories without editing them? Are you short on editors, or are you trying something new?
  7. I have to hand it to you, there aren't that many people in the gay community who talk about religion in a positive light. It was refreshing to read about Pastor Irvin's views on homosexuality. It definitely made the story more interesting to read... not to mention Andy's morning sandwich I can't wait to find out what's gotten Uncle Sam all riled up over TJ and his father. I mean, I know they're bad news, but the boys' parents seem to be overly paranoid about the whole situation.
  8. Oh-mai-gosh! Camping?! Now this story has everything I love! They darn-well better go! I just hope that JT and his buddies don't screw it up. Our boys have had so much bad luck that I think they deserve a night off. I mean, I'm all for conflict and keeping the story moving forward, but... this is camping! I wonder how awkward Roger feels about sharing a bed with to gay boys spooning each other next to him xD I'd feel a little weird if I had to share a bed with a couple straight-folk.
  9. [WARNING: possible spoilers] I loved this chapter! You're still managing to keep all of or 'i's dotted and 't's crossed. Some things that you bring back in later chapters are things I completely forgot about—well, until you mention them again! I definitely admire that in your writing. I have to say that I really, really, really want friends like Joey has found. Not only are they kind and understanding, but they're extremely generous, too. Up until this chapter, I was worried that Roger wouldn't take too kindly to his best friend and new semi-brother being together, so it was with great relief to discover that Roger won't be making Joey's stay at his home a nightmare. Roger's awesome. Of course, I HAVE to know what's up with Timmy. I mean, there's so many different things that can be bothering him in regards to Joey and Andy. I'd like to guess that he's gay and has feelings for Andy, but you've been proving me wrong with all of my past guesses so far The ending was perfect timing! I knew something had to happen at the game, but I wasn't expecting things to turn out like they have so far. I really thought that JT would be waiting for them after the game or something, but bringing JT's father into the mix like you did was great thinking! Awesome chapter, Billy!
  10. Oh man, what an emotional roller coaster this chapter turned out to be. You caught me off guard with Andy's secret, good job I find it interesting that Joey has managed to keep his faith in God after all of that crap with his psychotic family. Of course, it's beginning to look like that faith paid off. I want to move in with Roger's family! ...I need a new computer
  11. Great review! Rob really deserves some recognition toward this story. Not to mention that this is his first go at storytelling. The one thing I have to disagree with you on is the descriptions. I thought they pretty darn close to perfect. There may have been one or two descriptions that seemed slightly redundant, but for the most part I felt as if they were helping to build the anticipation. It's like, when you're nervous about something, your mind looks for things to distract you from the situation, so when something important is coming up in a story, and the character is getting closer and closer to certain doom, those descriptions help make the moment seem more real for me. For example, if I had told a really big, fat fib to a friend, became guilt-stricken, and decide to tell the truth, The entire walk down that hall would feel like an eternity. Or, at least, that's the way I saw them Any-who, I give this story two-thumbs up. Except for the cliffhangers. I could do without those
  12. Okay, so I was finally going to sit down and read this, but it looks like the Chat Shack has the chapters all screwy. Some chapters have multiple parts, but I'm only seeing "Part 2" of those parts
  13. Fanf***en-tastic! Comsie?! You're the best!
