I'm not sure which is more entertaining atm, the running commentary of the authors or trying to envision Nan in bed with Rudolph? Rudolph is really becoming a pain in the ass, sounds like he needs something else to keep him busy, hiring a P.I. is one thing, but hiring your son's blackmailed friend is another (really dirty trick!) for what reason? He doesn't need to explain anything in disinheriting his son and still remain somewhat respectable in his 'circle' of friends. So his a plan to make Kyle bend totally under his control is all about control. Rudolph and Penelope (Who the F names their kid Penelope?) need a new hobby like racing around dangerous roads with cliffs. Nice Chapter!

....................Of course Ethan's image could shatter Caleb's attempt at rescue! But did Caleb anticipate this ruse? We have already gathered that Caleb has deduced that Orpheus is obstructing , deceitful player of his own making of rule. Caleb is the last person Orpheus expected to outwit him in his game of souls, and Caleb may now have the upper hand. Great Chapter!

......................I think the author decided to have a better good-bye scene. rather then leaving one heart broken lad (And an armed mob of angry readers ) So Quokka placated the mob in the bud, then notice Carlton seems to be taken by Amanda? I have no idea where this story is going, however if any past stories are any indications. Carlton is going to loser an Uncle pretty soon.

..............Always pleasant to meet outgoing staff even as circumstances are beyond your control. However, didn't the contract in the sale claim all property included in sale (equipment, stock, machinery etc.) Will Bryce and Barrett be able to reel his out-going station master in, or will the law need to be called in? I hope Bryce's family can acclimate quite a change from a seasonal green scenery to a small populated desolate desert ranch. Great Chapter!

But I agree with Paladin, Anton never gave shy Matthew the chance to explain, added plus. Kinda left his BF high and dry while he is trying to work out his difference's with his family, sorry but Anton wins no awards from me either.

.................. I definitely feel like a whole chapter disappeared on us. Was Matthew, just a fleeting thought, no discussion, bye bye? Anton may be many things, a great businessman, an organizer, a good leader. But lousy at personal relationships. Hard to make a call on this chapter without knowing what led up to the accident!

........................Well the intense level went up some, HTF do you sit quietly reading a book while you are 23 meters below sea level? Carlton and Jacob? Could be interesting, especially since the author put this scenario up front early in the story! Better chapter!

.....................I totally agree, at one time I think Anton counseled with his grandfather on matters. Since the accident (grandfathers) he seems to take everything upon his own shoulders and never seeks advice from anyone anymore. So he lets every thing pile up at him, now the grandfather wants him to take responsibility for his brothers again. Clearly Anton needs support from somewhere and Matthew (although probably totally innocent) has not helped much as he'd rather Anton do it all. I am surprised a lot of readers did not see this, when they were pushing for Simon and Anton to get together, and it never happened but Simon just kept calling Anton 'Boss', pretty much describing that relationship. While it might be nice to just take a walk and dismiss all his problems for awhile, they will still be there when he gets back and leaving his cell phone was just childish. Nice Chapter!

........................Very interesting chapter, I also started thinking that Bas's intentions were to get his family moved back with him to Australia, his mother's illness made it more probable. I'm a afraid the culture shock of Australia may be too much for Christine, Marcus and the other munchkins will handle it better. The survey ordered by Bas will give him a better picture on what he will need to do, to run the whole operation smoothly. Great chapter!

....................Just when Caleb seems to have a grasp of the Orpheus sense of the underworld, something always flings him back or forward in this struggle he has with life and death. Strangely, it would appear that even Orpheus tries to root for Caleb while struggling with his own destiny. It is not the outside world that will win, neither Ethan nor Liz can combat the battle ahead, the seance is just going to be a prelude to nothing. Caleb holds the cards and Orpheus dealing the game. Great chapter.

First his parents and a couple of unsuccessful foster homes with the last one being great, until the elder foster parent fell ill. At least he has his real father back in his life, but I can't see it being a problem in the relationship Jam has with Phillip. Nice chapter!

Daniel is really trying, even reminding Robbie that they are brothers. Although Robbie has problems at home and being 15 years old he has limited choices. He is not guiltless as he was complacent in his troubles. His biggest problem would be with Nathan, should word ever get out about the Robbie and Alex picture or any trash talk Jenny could do.
