...................Excellent turn of events, except for some crappy tires the road trip was uneventful. Some pencil pushing official in the Municipality of Northern Rockies is going to get his/her ass reamed real soon. What a surprise for W.O. Benning to learn of 4 other family's of Aussie descent in the area and some of the same school age as Tom, is the author throwing in a wrench here? Could it be that Tom is the gay one, the subject of bullying was brought up, it made me think that there was more to this then meets the eye. Why was it brought up at all? Tom always seemed to be one not to back down from anything, his time with Benning and the troops has made him very confident. Great Chapter, look forward to more!

.................. What could go possibly go wrong in traveling alone to a post 1600 kilometers north of civilization in mid winter Canada? Turning a bushman into a snowman are you? Yeah, I'm also wondering about that scenario when Mitchell was forced out of his home town in the beginning of this story. Great chapter!

....................Poor Edward, I never saw that coming, but it finally answered the question of Anton's sexuality. Still it was a very long wait til the end of book one, to answer the question that was raised much earlier on Anton and Simon. I thought this was going to be the case a few chapters back when Simon continued calling Anton 'boss' even though they shared a cabin. (I warn you sir! If you marry off Anton to some wench in the next book, there will be mutiny )

..............I so thoroughly enjoyed your style of writing, each sentence weaved well, the story had me hooked on the first chapter, well done! Actually I'm surprised Kaiden took so long to acknowledge himself to anyone else. But it would seem once he told Sarah, his wall crumbled into rubble instead of leaving an opening for him, he panicked about himself and retreated again. Then he is challenged by Jake and takes a harder look at himself. Looking forward to more

I got an idea for Robbie while he goes to a licensed therapist Don can go to PFLAG meetings one for one (we will see how long that last) maybe Sue should go too!! Daniel is surprising and not as miffed as I thought, although he should have showed up a lot earlier, like at least the hospital. Nicola it is beneath her to intentionally blackmail Robbie to Nathan, sometimes Robbie should not tell the truth. Now Jenny can blackmail Brad and out Robbie in the process, this would hurt Nathan more than anyone else.

................Well that was interesting, so Kirk and Leon lied, I wonder what was up with that? I'm glad he shipped his step-brothers back home, they don't need the danger and drama, and they certainly have enough 'story telling' to tell their classmates to make them popular and entertained for ages. ......................... I'm glad they decided to return to Australia as they concurred, they really aren't prepared to cross the ocean. Not sure if I remember why Anton wanted to make the crossing anyways. I'm also surprised on how limited this yacht had of navigation equipment and charts, I would have thought that a yacht this costly and size would have state of the art navigation and radar. ..................Daniel is being a brat and is not the 'best friend' to Nathan he pretends to be and as he avoids Robbie by constantly spending the night at his 'other' best friends house. he is the loose cog on the wheel of this drama. At least Don is letting his position on he matter known, no matter how wrong he is and eventually he will give in. Sue is the angry peacemaker, but does she plan to enforce the no touch rule if Daniel brings home a girl? Or if his older sister brings home a boy? I see failure in the future to this compromise. I think that Robbie really needs the home structure, but if this fails he could always apply for emancipation (given his income) and seek other residence elsewhere, I mean WHO needs this shit!!

................ I'm wondering if they can find, in their explorations of the islands a communications antenna left over from the era when the military used the place. I sure hope they don't face a military planned exercise. Sometimes I think Anton believes he has a unlimited supply of money, the repairs for this much damage is going to take the insurance company yo cover it. The airfield is the key here in getting help for repairing the pontoons flying in supplies and trade. Well he has plenty if time to go though the box of business papers left by his step-father. Finally, are the new sleeping arrangements with Si and Anton going to 'fruit' anything interesting? Great two chapters!

................... ! Agree, an ending that just seemed to fit right. I was a bit surprised at Joey, I expected him to ignore Billy, but to show fear and avoid him his bastard father must of really laid one on him as bad or worse then he did to Billy. Holy Crap! that outdoor sex by the lake scene was daring, surprising and sexy, taking the thrill chance to a new level for them. I wonder what George talked with Brett about? I'm sure the towns secrets were not divulged, and George is privy to all of them. George is probably already aware of Joey's father making threats at Joey, but he had the opportunity and did not quiz his son, nor did Billy broach the subject as if it was all done and buried. ..................So much is learned in this chapter that I'm not sure where to respond first. I guess finding out the mystery surrounding his parents death was disturbing and morbid sounding given the location. Teddy opened up a lot more after Liz slapped that mask off him, but Ryder surprised me the most I don't think he has talked to anyone as much as he did that night to Teddy and with so much information. He has locked himself up for so long, only releasing it in music, this was something I didn't expect from him this early. Great chapter!!

.......@ DrPalidan That is an interesting scenario, I think the parents may be to blame for their precious son's behavior, they probably created the little monster by ignoring him. He wasn't sent 700 miles away from home because it was the finest school. More likely he might have been facing expulsion before or got into just enough trouble to squash the rumors on the family name and moving on. This time it is on video and an unavoidable, irrefutable 'crime' for others to see. So if your scenario plays out, Chris's family may seek revenge for this blot upon his reputation. So if Heritage doesn't care about the character, but the money......yeah I can see that. And then Declan's coach just might need a new running back!
