.............. Q-man, nice chapter, sorry for checking in late had some issues with my PC, seems like my fan is running to high. As usual you did not disappoint me with the chapter, and the shortness of it doesn't bother me. That younger brother of his is going to need a BIG talking to. I know that going to college is escaping parental control and living it high, but responsibility needs to take precedence over having fun all the time.

............ I love it Steve, especially the distress call, but I doubt Bridget is going to go out there. She expects her minions to do the work, when that fails she will take the task at hand herself, as she has said before, 'if you want it done right you have to do it yourself'. I've seen what a M-16 can do to a metal ammo box with small hole in the front and a large hole in the back (4-5 inches around) . Same as a AK-47 they use the same rounds. But they don't have the distance that a 30-06 does, nor the firepower when the round hits its target as if I remember right Trevor got high powered armor piercing shells. If the round were to hit a power boat that bounced up in the front at each wave, the target is large and bound to be hit in the front, the holes blasted may hit the driver of the boat, in the feet. A good thing for Bridget, maybe she will be hit in her feet and momentary throttle back a bit and slow. Either way the boat will have too many holes if hit and will sink rapidly. If a high flying powerboat races to fast they will encounter waves and will be momentarily suspended in midair, leaving a clear shot even if a spray of 4 - 3 got in, two more shots and it is all done, the weapons the powerboat has cannot reach the Cat.

...............GRRRRRR!, but he said if there were any delays he'd tell us, this last hour crap is crap!!

................Only problem with that is Trevor, he'd rather go down with his ship rather then lose her again. Would he do it to save his freinds? Good question! If he does I like the idea of the Atlantis surviving Dean and is found floating almost intact. Well 8-10 ten hours will tell when the new chapter pops up!!

.........There is no escape, because of the storm inescapable, Would Trevor go into it? Of course he would and will, he is a better seaman then the power boat people and has battered many storms, whereas the others have not. I think (actually excited about the prospect) the following boats will all go down in the storm and Trevor manages to get him and his crew out and away from it, after some time. Bridget losing her prized fleet will have no choice but to go after Trevor herself (30-06....30-06) Her army diminished, her power gone with the cartel, and what is left of it is easy pickings for the other cartel.

.............A dream sequence would totally ruin the story!

.............No Q-man, I felt comfortable in the way you picked up the story, like it wasn't even that you left off it. Sure there is some gaps, which I'm sure you might fill in later!!!

Of course his son missed the implication.......still if I missed some other clue, I'll re-read it, I always enjoy doing that anyways. Sometimes I re-read a chapter 3 times before commenting on it.

...............Pat Robinson is funnier then the Sunday comics. I saw a vid of him praying that someone of his flock that wanted a million dollars, so he said a prayer and told the audience that the almighty answered his prayer and that someone was now a millionaire!!

........... I kinda knew that Pasha had to say goodbye to his brother, looks like this story is winding down. Great chapter Nephy!

...........The only thing I can't tell is if Trevor keeps his promise to Shane, time is not on his side. If those boats get to close he will cut and run leaving his freinds behind. Will Bridget be furious to know that Joel and Lisa escaped their capture? Will Xavier feel her wrath on that? After all she assembled this flotilla to show her power to the cartel, only to have it fail that all the intended victims escaped her grasp. If all 4 escape Bridget will be even more humiliated, if Trevor runs and tells his friends to seek shelter, she still loses. The window of opportunity for Trevor is small, as all of the other boats are coming in at him, he has no choice but other then run straight into the a cat 5 storm. But not to worry he is piloting a cat! LOL, indeed what could go wrong, he survived the roaring 40's, so a simple hurricane should not be a problem for him. But his pursuers are not as skilled as he is in this event, should be an interesting scene of 8 gunboats following into a cat 5 storm chasing Trevor. The door is shut alright but for whom?

..................... Hey Brat! Interesting chapter! Sad to hear JT's mom was killed also in the fray. Another strange development was why the Detective wanted to question Andy in the first place? Who has a shirt with their name on it anyways? LOL! Andy has 2 other witness's that remove him from the murder scene on the night it happened. The detective is clutching at straws here with planted evidence, JT will need to collaborative that he was knocked out, kidnapped and taken to place where he was tied up, on top of that there were 3 men there outside the cave/mine entrance. Next chapter should be interesting as this tale evolves and un-weaves.

....... I also vote for Dean, what would Trevor do if he knew he was being chased by 8 gunboats? The natural thing of course, for Trevor would be to take Atlantis straight into Hurricane Dean. Let Bridget's guys follow that!!

.........This could prove to be interesting, 2nd Shot was a great story that I had no idea you might do a sequel on. If you do I will definitely follow it.

........Wow! you took this totally of the way it was going in the story, that I thought it was going! Kinda of hope he killed Rodger though. Why don't some mothers ever see this abuse coming? I guess I can relate because mine either didn't see it or ignored it when it happened to myself and my brothers. He abused the stepsons, but she gave him the 2 sons that he dotted over, a prick that was a former Marine Corp Drill Instructor, he treated us like recruits and was physically and verbally abusive.

................. I'm sure it will be grand! I have a scenario already picked out in my mind and it will match that of the alligator farm!!
