................... Hey Brat! LOL! As I told you earlier in chat you have a great story going, now what is your estimate of a posting schedule? Readers tend to lose interest if it is not at least weekly, not suggesting it but a cliffhanger or two seems to keep the pack begging for more. Lastly, let your readers know how many chapters you plan to have in the saga. BTW, I loved your writing style and the flow of the 2 chapters!

[Andrew_Q_Gordon] The Trial of Jordan Colmar
Benji replied to Andrew Q Gordon's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
.......... Great chapter! Should not have been a shock to Jordan though, I'm sure his lawyer clued him in. I'm surprised there was no outburst by his family though, maybe they were in shock as well. Jordan is facing some serious time here, with luck he may be out in 20 years, but I doubt it. His family is ruined along with his fated future behind bars for a very long time, which I gather will not be pleasant for someone his age and youth. I doubt the jury will talk to the reporters, but if they do what will they say? Hmmmm, was Jordan's lawyer privy to fact that Jordan talked to his co-defendant and about what? I doubt we will know as 'new daddy' Mr. Q is quite busy!! Great Chapter Q! -

.........And to think, they weren't all blond! -
...................... Take a toothbrush with you and check the restroom first before presenting yourself especially if your interview is after lunch (actually happened when I was one of five to interview a very well qualified individual, who happened to have eaten prior some broccoli pasta dish). After all looks and presentation are the most on first impressions.

Circumnavigation 98: And the Sea shall give up its Dead
Benji replied to C James's topic in C James Fan Club's Topics
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Hmmmmmm! I knew the goat was going to split this mystery, yet he shoveled in a lot of answers as can be seen. Henry was wise in not allowing Dirk to answer all of Joel's and Lisa's questions as the danger of Bridget knowing what they know was too great. Gonzales has to be slacked jawed to see Rachels name on the list, it would be the only reason for Frank to be so smug about the arrest not being a happening. Mr. B may have made a mistake, what if Trevor and Shane sails away in a thunderstorm and the mast gets hit by a lighting strike? Would that not knock out his tracking device? Finally we have Rachel making her way down the dock to Trevor with the long promised sea shell towards Trevor whose recognition of her causes him a emotional panic. The sea gave up the 'missing Rachel', now where is the Ares? -
[Andrew_Q_Gordon] The Trial of Jordan Colmar
Benji replied to Andrew Q Gordon's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
I think Jordan will likely do at least 25 years, if not more, Daddy's money will not help as Daddy is about to be in big time doo-doo himself. -
Err, DaddyDaveK, I think I guaranteed you that "the big reveal" would happen before Halloween. I knew it would be in 98 and 99, and it will, but... um, once again I prove that I cannot count. So, I'll post a few hours early, Monday afternoon, so it's not quite Halloween night. ../..//public/style_emoticons/default/smile.png .......From G-Ds lips to the goats ears it should happen that the big reveal will occur on Chapter 98. I rather suspect the goat will give us a 'half answer in 98' and the rest in 99, in other words he will split the mystery to us, he will give us the fact that Rachel is alive and well, but not give us much more until later in the next chapter. Mr. B is tracking the Kookaburra, he will get himself a boat to follow and try to fulfill his contract, but the goat has alluded to many of the nasty creatures that inhabit Australia, I wonder if in his attempt fate will be on Trevor's side. Or will a discovery aboard the Atlantis sidetrack Mr. B.? His reporting back to Sanchez could make the killing scenario disappear and contract ended with what he can gather from Ned's discovery on-board.

...........We disagree on who Rachel is, I can't see Martin running a charter and running a farm. The reason I think Rachel is Mrs. Blake is the fact that they own the Kookaburra, Mrs. Blake hired Shane who resembles Trevor enough that Mr. B wasn't sure which one was actually Trevor. My guess is that if Shelly is Rachel what became of the Aries? I don't think she would have let it go, I still believe that the Kookaburra is the Aries and that Mrs. Blake has to lay low in fear of being recognized as Rachel by customers, who may have sailed with her back in Florida, until the statutes are up.

[Andrew_Q_Gordon] The Trial of Jordan Colmar
Benji replied to Andrew Q Gordon's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
.............. Yea Q-man!! It was a pleasure to read and I'm looking forward to the 'Verdict' and sentencing. An epilogue to see Jordan's father charged with witness tampering, bribery and the other crimes he has committed. -
................Next weeks posting will be on Halloween night... Just saying!

................... Well it is good that the time line has moved forward 4 days. the excitement is about to start, I wonder how Mr. B plans to attack Trevor here? Most likely at sea, but given Trevor's last encounter at sea with the pirates I doubt he will not be prepared. Or will Mr. B be fooled that Ned and Fowler are navigating the Kookaburra when he strikes. I noticed the raised eyebrows at the mention of Trevor seeking his relatives in Northam by Fowler and the other Constable, how much do they know about all of this, I think they are very well much aware that Trevor's relatives do not live there. Finally I am still grasping at straws or not, is the Atlantis the Aries or not? Ned has one more place to check out and has implied that the contents may have been dumped into the ocean after the collision, yet has not confirmed if this is true or not. Still the serial check mentioned a chapter back has not been mentioned. Then there is the hint that those documents have already been found and someone has them. I really think the Kookaburra will never set sail to the America's, because she (Aries) will be found to be intact in Australia I think George is already ready to jump ship with Bridget, he sees a no-win situation with her and and Sanchez, the cartel has already made moves here. George is in the perfect place being an Drug enforcement agent in their eyes, and an asset to their business. Meanwhile back to Trevor and Shane, now they are about to traverse back out at sea, when will Mr. B decide to strike? I believe one of those nasty creatures of the Australian nature will come back to make their nature known!

Marty. ........I seem to lost my sunglasses!! I don't think Gonzales will be to upset, after all what he is really after is justice. Now he will concentrate on Bridget and George maybe bring in the Feds on this. He might call up Fowler and ask him if he could start a record search on Rachel Carlson, might get a surprise answer! I doubt there will any pursuit of charges against Dirk, they really had nothing on him in regards to Arnold, it was all conjecture based that he was guilty of murdering Rachel. They just wanted to lump in other charges to get a airtight conviction. Benji

...................... Still the mystery of the 'name' Shelly in all of this, it alludes to Fowler's wife and further to Rachel, yet it is the Blakes that are the ones running the charters and man a catamaran boat . So it is still confusing on who is which a 'Shelly', Rachel or a Mrs' Blake here, so the only guess I can give is that 'Shelly' is Rachel and is having her 'sister' and Mr. Blake run the charters and they are splitting a bit of the money. I find that hard to believe as Rachel loved the sea, and is highly experienced in doing so, perhaps she taught Martin how to take the boat out. Then again what if there is no Mrs. Blake?" What if it was a cover? After all we never heard a word from her, what if Rachel was Mrs. Fowler and Mrs. Blake was a fake, Shane could have met Mrs. Fowler all this time, and not known it. Danger lies if he puts out any photos in front of Trevor of the owners. Enough brainstorming here............ Because the length of the chapters could not handle the implications here.
-
.................... Damn, how true!!
-
........ Well first of all, I too am confused on who Rachel really is, the 'Shelly' reference in which Trevor fondly remembers as a nickname of his mother clues me into believing that Mrs. Fowler is Rachel and Mrs.Blake being her sister. What makes it difficult for this realization is the fact that the Blake's are into sailing and charters, which Rachel (the Blakes) was very much involved in, the opinion then shifts it back, to being that Rachel is actually Mrs. Blake and 7 year old Trevor misinterpreted Sheila for Shelly in his memories. Sheila being an Aussie slang term for an Aussie Girl. But would Dirk know the difference? If Trevor heard in his memories the word spoken by his dad in reference to Rachel be wrong? I'm 50/50 here on if it is Mrs. Fowler or Mrs. Blake as being Trevor's long lost mother. BTW, Marty, I'm thinking that the new at this late of date 'news' between Gonzales and Fowler will make it clear that the 'kids' (Lisa and Joel) are being set up, and Fowler and company is going to walk them through customs and search the luggage on their own, without the actual customs report from the airport, they will send out a false one proclaiming to have arrested two American teens for smuggling drugs into the country. That should complicate Bridget and George in thinking that their plan worked, This is continent if the matters are unfolded between their scheduled flight and the realizations made by Dirk, Gonzales, Joel, Lisa, Henry and Fowler, plus what is found on the Aries from the late Arnold! My thoughts!!
-
............ Very interesting! I remember reading that but missed it, George either deliberately lied to Bridget or the goat goofed. I don't think he goofed, what if George is meeting with some other cartel member? What if the other cartel members are already planning to get rid of Sanchez and are meeting with George as the 'new' contact will be needed. Oddly absent is Bridget, could it be that the cartel is ready to retire her also? Nice catch!!
-
Hey Marty!! ............ Well we all have to consider goat hours also, they can be excruciating slow I suspect that after Sundays admission, and meeting with Gonzales coupled with Ned's discovery of the Atlantis/Aries of an interesting cache of information left by Arnold, things will move quickly. Things that will directly link Bridget to many misdeeds, Fowler will call Gonzales on the discovery. Yet to be in play is Joel letting anyone know about Trevor's insistent search for the Aries, Gonzales, Fowler and Henry are not aware of it. This is the connect the dots scenario, once the papers and other information are recovered from the Aries and Gonzales grills Joel, everything will fall in place for the detective and Fowler. Joel's part in keeping his promise to Trevor in continuing the search may dampen George's plan of framing them for drug smuggling in Australia, as I see Fowler and company escorting them of the plane and through customs, or rescuing Lisa and Joel. Now for the Idea that Bridget would flee without George, I don't think so, I see them both fleeing and into the lap of Sanchez and meeting Neptune, before he too soon meets his own demise. The problem is the fact that Mr. B will still be on the hunt, so the excitement/danger will be how Trevor and Shane survive this. My thoughts! BTW, my take on Dirk and Jim as being victims was mere jest!

..........And here I thought you might have gone as a delayed chapter with AYC written on it!!!
-
Hahaha! Great costume, I plan on none this year!
-
.............This is the 2nd mention of the structural beam of the Kookaburra that is the only difference between the 55 and 57 other then it's length. I still think the Aries was modified into a 57 and it is now the Kookaburra. I too noticed the hum of the Cessna, while our heroes were swimming the river, but Mr. B still has to install Ned's new security system. Still, when he does fly into Kalbarri, if he were to keep to the coast looking for the Kookaburra and then swing inland towards the airport (Thanks for the google map CJ, I found the airport) he could very well spot the boat.
-
...............I Love it!!! Lisa is the Judas in her minds eye regarding Bridget (Like I said). Finally Lisa see's through Bridget's managed manipulated pretense. Joel tries to comfort Lisa as she slowly realizes that Bridget may have been behind all the attempts on Trevor's life When she put the other clues together and will they trust the guesthouse again? I was surprised at how little info Henry extracted from Joel and Lisa, of course he is not a detective and would hammered the witness/suspect for hours, but really a 15 minute interview? The meeting with Joel and Dirk should prove very interesting, as the statutes disappear Dirk can divulge the truth and of course Trevor will hear it from him or sooner. Given the newly found wealth of Dirk, is it possible I misjudged the next victims here? Could it be Jim ande Dirk instead? Finally is anyone else nervous about an airport so close to the boys designation, how does Mr. B ignore the obvious press reports and fly off the handle. I'm going to go out on a limb here and think that he will fly over the area and spot the Kookaburra on a chance that they went south instead of north. The next few chapters are going to be filled with a least a cliffhanger or two and the final showdown of our heroes! Great chapter CJ!!
