  1. .......... Actually, Shane told Joel the name of the boat when he called him on the satellite phone, and yes it was in the guesthouse! After the phone call; Lisa sat down on the guesthouse sofa and waited until Joel joined her. “I’d be fine, I’m just worried"
  2. ................. I believe that is all due to the younger generation no longer afraid of the closets coming out and educating their peers. This could not have happened in the '60s even with the sexual revolution in front of us. Thank G_D, it is finally happening, I might see it becoming law before my death.
  3. ....................."I’m doing fine, Joel, except I’m not Trev. This is Shane. I live on Kookaburra – the boat Trev chartered. He’s not hurt or anything, but I need to talk to you.” That is a piece of information Bridget and George didn't know about, they already knew Trevor was staying in Carnavon. What was it that had Joel concerned at the end, if he mentions that he suspects that the Atlantis is the real target in the guesthouse. Bridget and George may have to step up their plans, especially with the story about Trevor's ordeal about to be 'breaking news'. Although trespassing is breaking the law, will Henry sweep the guesthouse for bugs anyways? A thought occurred to me is that Joel figures he is on to something because of the coincidence of both the Aries and the Atlantis were both targets of a bombing, this may resolve his thinking that the Atlantis may have something hidden on board. Joel knows Dirk would never set foot on a boat if he could avoid it, let alone spend hours installing a secret compartment. Even if he were to do so, why risk Trevor finding it someday? Joel has to be thinking about an unknown suspect, now Lisa and Joel need to find a common thread here.... Hummm! Both boats were purchased from Bridget's household and Arnold was murdered and an unsolved one at that.
  4. ...................Ok, " Trevor blinked. “Whoa... Dad really did it, just like he promised? That’s great news! That means I don’t have to wait for my eighteenth birthday to come home,” Trevor blurted without thinking. He’d expected his exile to last until June of 2007. In the galley, Shane was busy preparing breakfast, and heard Trevor’s exclamation. Shane froze for a moment, his smile turning into a sad, hurt frown as he resumed working" Humm, wistful thinking on his new found friendship or what?? Me thinks Shane and the goat protest too much!
  5. .........HUMMM, HOW DID I MISS THAT?
  6. ................ I voted gay, someone has to keep Trevor company when he resumes his voyage to complete the circumnavigation.
  7. .............Easy, if I like to story and it is well written I rep up after each chapter and make comments on it. If I do not like the story, I usually don't read anymore of it, but I never rep down an author. He/She has put out the effort to write and I will not downgrade their rep because I did not like it, I sometimes comment on it, but that is rare. I'm sure others will do that and I feel no need to add to it.
  8. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIC! ...............Have a great one, but don't overdo it!! Hehe!
  9. ..... So true, never thought about that way! I re-read the 'mob' story but didn't glimmer a hint if Shane was being just truthful that he liked girls only or maybe he was also bi/gay. The goat feeds on carrots also!
  10. ............Great news!!! Sounds like all went well, I'm glad.
  11. .... It was a given that Shane 'knew' about Trevor, the mystery was that he turned out to be the str8 guy here. Question is in Shane's past, was he on his own because of actions by his parents, perhaps towards a younger or older brother that might have been gay? Could Shane see the panic attack coming on by reliving his family life with his siblings. The goat dropped hints, but they were mild ones at this, once Trevor recovers from his 'attack' Shane needs to come clean.
  12. ............Another fine chapter, very much a shame Shane is str8, oh well at least the outting was done, no matter how poorly Trevor did it! Something Shane wondered has me wondering. '.....It had triggered a memory in Shane, one that was far from pleasant. He hoped he was wrong, but felt he had to find out, for Trevor’s sake.' and then; 'Shane’s eyes glazed over slightly as some memories from his past returned'.. I guess Shane will come clean to Trevor about his situation now, and maybe Trevor can relax around him. I do hope Shane can help Trevor out of his panic attack, Shane must have dealt with this before and knows how serious it is.
  13...............Aghast, must not be any TRUE Christians in the UK!!
  14. ......................Has strong urge to take old shoes and clothing out near a church at 4am and put dry ice in the up right shoes and scatter the clothing.
  15. ............. Better not, or I may consider a roasted goat for X-mas.
  16. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MYR!! ....................Have a great one!!!!
  17. ....................... Agreed !!! Agonizingly slow, but I see the end of the charade being played by Trevor and Shane. It looks like it will take Trevor's impending melt-down to bring these two together. The meeting between Lisa, Joel, Jim and Dirk is going to be most revealing! How much Dirk tells will be the turning point for Lisa and Joel. Will 'light bulbs' finally go off in their heads? Great chapter CJ!
  18. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRAEME!! ............ Have a G'day Mate!!
  19. ...................Hahahaha! Yep, I can see this, obviously CJ had no clue how to advance this!
  20. ................. Yep Bridget f'**d up here! I expected it to be from George and indirectly it was, but still the word of mouth will ruin her plans and bring focus back to her. Trevor and Shane, how much longer is thing going to go on??? It is obvious they have eyes on each other, nice boiling point of it of the beach scene though. Hmmmm, time is antagonizing slow here! The title threw me, but I at least expected to here from Sanchez, Gonzales, Henry George or Bridget in this chapter.................... Or at least Shane and Trevor at least getting it on!!! LOL, great chapter Goat!
  21. ............. Interesting question, I felt forever young until I hit 55, then those old injuries started to act up on me .. still my body is in pretty good shape. But you won't find me running like Vic (methinks he is just checking out guys running in front of hi though)
  22. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAT!! .......Hope it is a great one!!
  23. HAPPY B-DAY ANDY!!! .................................. Have a good one!!
  24. ............Here's hope that BBQ will end the discussion of Shane and Trevor's distractions Lisa and Joel's meeting went without a hitch in their thinking, I'm still wondering if Henry has 'checked out the guesthouse' seeing that he knows about it in his surveillance. His tagging George might lead to some results that Gonzales and he both desperately need as Joel's assumptions are just that. Jason and Barney are going to set loose a hornets nest here, sending Trevor on another danger very soon. Problem I see with Joel and Lisa's investigation is that it will all be entered into Bridget and George's ear. Great chapter CJ! But what is going to unravel first? The coke plant, the attempted assantion of Trevor or the much anticipated 12/17 meeting with Gonzales and Dirk. Will Henry find Georges vehicle near Joel's at the planting of evidence? Will he stop the attempt or will he find out the over generous monies spent on Trevor's old vehicle.
