The debate isn't if woman deserve to be hit as much as guys do though. The problem is equality or not the average woman is a lot smaller then the average male. Woman shouldn't be hit for the same reason men should really punch younger teens, because it can actually hurt them and damage them.

I didn't say I hate the republicans. I said I hated Bush and what they did under his term. The democrats are not trying to correct the mistakes made under Bush. They are making all the same mistakes. The open government the promised isn't there, they are as secretive as ever. Bush pissed all over a the Constitution and continued to use disasters to expand the power of his office. Obama hasn't shrunk the office any and has also continued to expand it. Voting isn't the simple solution, as most of the candidates are the same. They use stupid social ideals such as abortion which really isn't going to even be won or loss at the federal level, but people will cast their vote simply over some of these issues and ignore everything else about a candidate

really there doesn't need to be sex, or a detailed scene to make a story. My bigger pet peeve is how fast to the I love you. I get annoyed when knowing each other for a day the characters profess their love for each other

I read both series and enjoyed them both. That being said HP is a lot better. Half Blood Prince is still one of my favorite books ever

It depends what she says, or how she says it. Also if the food is cold well than I can see there being a problem. joking aside a guy should never hit a woman. I believe woman are equals but really just physically most woman are not built the same way as a guy. The average guy is taller and weighs more then the average woman, that is just a fact. Really would it be ok for a 6 foot grown adult male to hit a 5'4(average height for a grown adult female in the States) 14-16 year old male?

Parties don't matter anymore. Both really do the same things and screw us equally. Almost all of the things I hated about Bush and the republicans is still going on under Obama and the democrats. All the the things that Fox news cry about now were the things they ignored under Bush, or told us was unamerican to criticize him for. It is ridiculous.

They removed the fighting at hogwarts because they didn't want the climax of this and the next movie to both be with a giant fight at hogwarts, which in a way makes sense.

There is a difference between nostalgia and memories of your life, and what I am talking about. Most people look on their youth or times of their lives as golden years of their lives. My problem is with people who declare a entire time frame as being better than things are today. I love the 90s, i grew up in the 90s and when I'm 50-60 I am sure I'll still live the 90s and 00s. But I hope things are better than, they should be. People should evolve. The 50s were better than the 40s and 30s, and the 90s and 80s were better than the 50s.

North Korea right now does not have the power or ability to totally destory life on earth, they could kill a community within a few thousand miles radius, but not the the extent that the united states and Soviet union could back in the 60's. Although even white males had to deal with the constant threat of nuclear destruction(coming pretty close in 1962), and a lot of white males lost their lives or the lives of friends or family in Vietnam.

Does it annoy anyone else when people talk about the good ole days, or how much better things use to be? And I'm not talking about 2-5-10 years ago, im talking about someone referring to say 1960 as being so much better than today. I don't get it. How is that the good ole days? Especially in America. Was it so much better when blacks lived in fear of being lynched? Woman were kept in line? Gays couldn't even go to bars or clubs without being rounded up. Not to mention the constant fear of nuclear war, rising anger and protests. And most people didn't even have air conditioning. How that so much better than what we have today? I'm not naive and things right now all over the world are bad, but were we really so much better off as people in 1960?

I use to never really believe in ghosts. I found the concept interesting and was open to the idea, yet if I was asked do you believe in ghosts I'd have said no. That was until I moved to Mississippi with my than boyfriend. We lived in alittle guest house and strange stuff would happen all the time. We'd hear noises and knocks and pretty much not pay attention to them. Than one night Jacob was going to his night class and i went to say goodbye, and than walked to our bedroom in the back of the house. As soon as I entered the room I heard like plastic crumpling from the living room and I walked out there and every single cabinet door was open and plastic shopping bags were just like fly out of the top capinet. A few nights later I saw a white streak out there float across the room and woke Jacob up, he laughed about most of it and didn't really believe it. That is until to one night we were sitting in bed and the were three knocks on our closed bathroom door, which than opened and slamed shut.

If it comes up I don't hide it, but I don't make a point to tell everyone. I just act like me. I haven't really had any bad reactions. My friend Mike was shocked when he found out and almost fainted and I had a mangers at the place I use too work both make funny comments like, he can't be gay he knows more about football than me or he like hard rock.
