I'm hoping for a Canes and Blackhawks final. I hate the Penguins and the baby Sidney Crosby with everything I have. And the Redwings robotic boring play is everything thats wrong with the NHL. I was hoping the Ducks knocked them off. And as a side note maybe the best action right now is going on off the Ice between the coyotes, Jim Balsille(who wants to move the team to ontario) and The NHL/Gary Bettman(who may be on the hot seat)

Well I've never really seen Karma happen, but they only thing close would be reverse Karma. We use to joke that my friend Mike had this. He was good guy, but he was also a lot like House(if you seen the show). He was honest and sarcastic and me and him got along great. I worked with him and he was a manager and he was the guy who wasn't afraid to tell people if their work sucked, and would even tell his bosses when they were messing up. Its also why we had the best sections in the entire state. But he could be an a-hole if someone pissed him off. Anyway now that i've told you about him, it seem like when ever he was just being mike and again a lot like house things were fine. But the times he would help people that maybe he shouldn't help(as in they were lazy, or ignorant) but he did it really because he felt sorry something bad would always happen to him. If he'd let an old lady get infront of him in line at the grocery store, she'd run over his foot. This happen over and over again, it was got to the point he'd do something nice and I'd warn him and somehow it would bite him in the butt by the end of the day.

I'm from South Jersey, Born in Brigantine live there for half my life, all my family is still there, im not a southerner. And South jersey is made fun of by North Jersey as you said, nation wide most people think all of New Jersey is like Newark or what they see on the Sopranos. The idea of New Jersey being dirty, and filled with smoke stacks, with the accents comes from the north. And what I meant by the influence of Baltimore is in the accent. The people of south Jersey have more of a Philadelphia/Baltamore accent than a North Jersey one.

lol people don't get that New Jersey is basically three different states. The North Part is the part people make fun of, which is really another part of New York. The Middle is pretty nothing but forest(pine barrens, scary place) and the south is beaches and yes farming and is a mix of Philadelphia and Baltimore.

I think the big difference isn't really people in general, its the way people and mainly woman look at relationships. Before the 60's pretty much stayed together no matter what once they were married. It was taboo to be divorced for females, and the way society was, a lot of times abuse and cheating were over looked.

As far as I can tell you are the only one who is being supportive. The people who call themselves friends and pretend nothing is going on are not doing him any favors. I know you don't want to lose his friendship but relationships like this tend to end in very bad ways.

He's also one of the most hated players in the game, and not from just opponents. He has been called out by teammates in the past due to his selfish play and bad penalties. Even Mike Modano who never says anything knocked Avery for running around taking neddless dumb penalties about two weeks before this. The dude just got out of a meeting where he was asked and promised not say anything or stir anything up with the press before the game in Calgary and he walks out of the meeting and grabs two camera men and tells them to start rolling, thats why he is not back with the stars. He's gonna have a hard time finding awaywhere above the AHL playing.

Don't feel guilty. If he wanted the cat so bad he would have came and got it by now. It's ridiculous to leave the pet with your EX and expect to just be able to come get it in the future.

Awwwww! I can sort of relate. I am a dog person, and when I moved in with my BF I found out he was a cat person and wanted a cat, so for Christmas I gave him a cat. Its been three years now, and I love the cat but he does some really annoying crap that a dog would never do. And Jacob is out of town for work a lot and I'm left home with the cat and I don't understand him. Why jump on top of the fridge and meow and meow over and over? You constantly get up on the counter when you know your not allowed and never did it when and were taught not to do it in our last house? Why stand in just the right spot so I can't see the tv?

They already have that its called the World Cup(they just don't have many of them due to the PA). Expansion in Europe will never happen. Teams like San Jose, Anaheim, Vancouver etc complain about the extra travel expenses they pay flying to the east coast, imagine if the have an away game against Dynamo. Gary Bettman is a turd but its just as much the owners fault. Every expansion team from 1991 until 2000 had to pay millions in expansion fees that want to every team. Atlanta, Nashville, Columbus, and Minnesota paid 80 million each, so in a three year period teams split up 320 million amongst 26 teams. And before that were the 90s team and they paid 50 million each. Team set there budget like they would have that money every year and it killed revenues. On top of that talent has become so deluted. They talk about the Trap, yet Montreal under Scoty Bowman in the 70s used a trap. The problem was and still is the lack of talent and the holding. When you go from 21 teams to 30 in 10 years, its gonna do something. Thats almost 220 players that would be in the AHL or Europe otherwise. ahhh don't get me started. I wrote a ten page paper for college english class on this last year.

Big Flyers fan here. They played a good game tonight, Marty Biron is starting to look like he did in the playoffs last year after a slow start. And one of my first athlete crushes Simon Gagne has been amazing!

The movie was actually originally suppose to come out tonight. But they pushed it back to not compete with Twilight and because they feel a summer release will net them more money.
