  1. The Masquerade By Julien Gregg "Please Alex," said the voice of my best friend from childhood. "You know how I feel about Storyville," I replied, twisting the phone cord with one hand while I stared at the calendar on my kitchen wall and dreading the date that was rapidly approaching. "It's been six years, Alex," he said, and I could hear the pleading tone still in his voice. "I promise the party won't be bad, and you'll have fun. Have I ever l
  2. ". . . and the marketing department has the figures that we need, so we can start ordering what we need to have the expansion packs ready by Fall," Margot was saying, and I was embarrassed when I understood that I'd tuned her out for most of what she was saying. I didn't make a habit of tuning out my assistant. It was just that I couldn't wait for five o'clock on Friday. That was the time when I would leave this office, this building, and head off to the farm for a much needed two week vaca
  3. It had been a week since Marty had left, and we missed him like crazy. All of our friends missed him. I missed him most of all. I didn't understand why everyone had to be so cruel to him all of the time. At least one of us, our group, had tried to make sure that we were with him all of the time at school. We just couldn't be there at all times, and he got hurt. He got hurt because of homophobia and ignorance. That's all there was to it. Marty got hurt because he was gay. That's what made me angr
  4. My site: http://juliengreg.com is down. I'm using a fortunecity page to post the stories to right now. http://juliengregg.fortunecity.com The site will be back up eventually. Julien
  5. Thank you everyone! It's been a strange day. I just got home from my birthday party and nearly couldn't make it home. Not because I'm drunk (I don't really drink) there's ice everywhere! Still trying to figure out how to live single again right now. My birthday was great though! Thanks again! Julien
  6. Happy 20th! I hope you had a great day. LOL I'm a little behind I see. Julien
  7. I was invited to Gay Authors by Myr when I was half way through my first story. Thanks Myr!! Julien
  8. I don't wear shoes unless I have to, but I have two pairs of sneakers, a pair of sandals and that pair of dress shoes that really kill my feet.
  9. What, no ELO? Ozzy but no Sabbath? no AC/DC? No Zepelin -- dude you're a freak <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This is just what I have on CD. AC/DC, Zep and Sabbath are on the original album format. [for the kiddies, that's what you play on a turntable. Do you know what a turntable is? (vintage audio info link)) ELO? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> LOL I won't even go into what's in my own collection. I don't want to get slammed for it. I do like Nirvana, though. I'm also really big on the heavy metal music right now. I'll listen to just about anything as long as I can understand it, though. Julien
  10. Pyro, I'm sorry that I haven't emailed you lately. I have been reading your stories, and I love them. I've just been dealing with school, work and Jordan. I hope all is well. Julien
  11. Happy Birthday Lor83b, hope you have a wonderful day!
  12. I have gotten many emails from readers claiming to be too young to read my work. I personally opt to stay on the safe side and just delte their emails. I know it is rude, but I can't just won't take any chances with the laws regarding children and pornography.
  13. Well said, DomLuka!
  14. Welcome DomLuka and the others! I've been a bit neglectful lately when it comes to keeping up with who is new. I apologize for that. I'll try to stay a bit more on top of it. Julien
  15. I respond to every email I get from readers about my stories, or at least I try to. I have received many wonderful comments about Storyville, Dustin and I, Vampire, and the feeling I get when I read an email from a reader that tells me how much my story touched them in one way or another is just incredible. I've received a few negative emails from a few readers, and although I was polite in my response to them, one in particular just wouldn't let go of an issue. That's the reason why some authors don't reply to some of the emails they receive. Now, when I open my inbox, if there is an email from the person I was talking about, I just delete it and go about my day. I have enough negativity in my life without reading huge emails from a guy who clearly doesn't like my writing. I'm not complaining here. I'm just giving a reason for why I wouldn't answer an email from a reader. Reader feedback is amazing, and it is the only way that we know when our writing is reaching anyone. So, to the readers out there, keep the emails coming, but remember, not everyone likes every different kind of story. Julien
  16. Com, I started this story earlier tonight, and I've read all you have posted. Great job! I love your writing, but this story is awesome! Can't wait for more!
  17. Is it really that important that we know the sexuality of every member or author of this site? I think that sexuality is a personal thing, and although I'm completely comfortable sharing my orientation with just about anyone who asks and isn't trying to be rude about it, many others aren't. Should we be just like the "biggots" and demand to know?
  18. Welcome back, Mike!!! I'm so glad to hear that the tests proved all is well. I'm glad your back, but I've been away a while myself. I only returned to the board a few weeks ago. I was spending some time with Jordan after the Union Cerimony. We've just been really bugging the crap out of each other Hugs, Julien
  19. I play The Sims 2 just about every other day or so, and I have a nude patch installed, too. I love the game.
  20. Actually, the very frist story I read was one of yours, Comicality. I don't remember exactly which one it was, though. But you are the one who got me to write my own stories, because I wanted to see if I could write something that had the ability to make anyone feel the way I felt when I finished yours. Julien
