This is heavy stuff!! Wade is taking on the big guys - seemingly well prepared- he should not under estimate the family where such large funds are concerned - particularly mama! I look forward to the evolving saga - very good story as usual

Well, Sir George has found himself in very muddy waters. It appears that he will need to form/strengthen strategic alliances rather quickly to tip the balance in his favor. Caroline has been out maneuvered and neutralized and not to be trusted as far as assisting Sir George in influencing his future.

I concur with the opinion that the "date" with Sean did not feel right - in fact is seems that even Matt is have second thoughts about the "open relationship" since he is now having to live with Wade's taking up the banner and a least appearing to enjoy it. It somehow does not really fit with Wade's persona and clearly Sean does not seem convinced that He likes being the third man out. I see this chapter as a transition process for Matt and Wade to strengthen their relationship and commitment. The story of Wade's uncle was touching and filled in a missing piece about Wade's teenage years. Another great chapter - thanks Mark

Yes, It does appear the you have Granger now positioned for bigger and greater things. More exciting adventure awe yes! The cozy interlude for the Captain and the young mate was very nice and more than warming I am sure. Knowing the author we will have some really exciting adventure in store. Good work, Mark -as usual!

Mark- great writing; "my" boy Will is in fine form, to him there are no "sacred cows" yet really great to see him step up for brother JJ - show some maturity taking place when really needed. He is even keeping the rents scrambling off kilter.. Looks like Wade has Matt's attention big time - it well be interesting how that triangle plays out! Why the poor hockey performance? Just an off night or loss of concentration??. All in all another chapter that does you proud.

Now that Wade has Matt's attention how much is he going to use his position of supposed influence and opportunity to play with Sean to Matt's discomfort? It is uncanny how Machiavellian Wade is becoming in his dealing with Carl and the land issue he clearly controls. (plainly dealing differently in the political and private arena's of influence). He should watch his steps carefully. Brad seems to have difficulty in areas of managing his relationship with his son. a sense of freedom comes from a foundation of trust and responsibility in a growing and expanding relationship. Wade masterfully laid that out to Brad. Thanks for another intricately woven multifaceted chapter of West Coast life.

Mark, It was a delight to have Will back - do you think that maybe Ryan might like to get it on with Will?? just for an experience! It was good to see Will and Tony having a congenial go at intimacy. This was kind a' like a family reunion - all the players together - getting their digs in and keep the generations honest and reasonable. A fun chapter - enjoyed it a lot!!

Mark, Thanks for the art work and diagrams, it helps to add the understanding to the strategies of battle in days long gone. I really liked the interplay regarding the strategy of battle, particularly of Jervis' leadership decisions and how it may all play out. Great writing!

Mark -- You have certainly vindicated your strategy of placing Wade as the leader of the new generation. While I was initially skeptical you have made me a believer. The last two chapters have been intuitively masterful and demonstrate the talent and intellect and energy Wade brings to the "family". It is shaping up to be an intellectually engrossing ride. Great writing!

Mark, I must confess that I have been an avid follower of your continuing saga of the third son of the 4th Earl of Bridgemont since you began posting the episodes on Yahoo Groups in mid 2009. I have not missed an episode yet I have not previously commented in the review section. My confession goes further that I have become an admirer and something akin to "author worship" due in part to your ability to write with such skill and period knowledge in producing parallel Saga's set in the 18th and 20th/21st centuries respectively. My hat is off to you for your unique contribution to this body of literature and the continuing excellence in writing you bring to these pages week after week. You certainly merit recognition for you endeavors. Thanks so much Mark

Mark, you keep upping the ante! Just when I do not think that you can possible rise to a new level of genius you bring us the reasoned and rational Wade who can out think and control every encounter as he chooses leaving those hoping for something more just shaking there heads in bewilderment. Just know that you are setting our expectations to an ever increasing standard. Enjoy the holidays

Mark, you were right but perhaps worse does not fully define what is going on. These guys are on a suicide mission that can become quite ugly and self destructive. Good for JP to bring some reality to the picture. Great writing but what else should we expect!!

A time of Revelation and reconciliation in spades. I thought that the naval staff would notify the coast guard about the tracking device on Kukaburra?? Still worried regarding uncertainty regarding Bridget and her obsession to eliminate Trev- Yes indeed even Lisa has her own epiphany. Great story and writing.

Wow is right!! There are clearly multiple driving forces stirring the pot. Once paternity was known it seems the Matt has not stepped up to share ownership of Riley with Wade. Also the involvement of mom Danfield certainly does not help the issue of shared parenting. It seems that the open relationship bubble of Matt and Wade is about to burst. Unless Matt recognizes his role in the deteriorating relationship with Wade and makes a decided effort to change his behavior it appears things between them will continue to unravel. Fascinating point counterpoint dialogue between Wade and Matt. Excellent work Mark

I have followed your story from its beginning and have been captivated with its development and looked forward expectantly for each new chapter as it appeared. Great story line and excellent development of the characters. Each chapter just gets better and better. Certainly something must happen to allow David and Billy to continue the development of their relationship beyond summers end.

It is good to have Will back in charge. There is something provocative and stimulating about teenage angst. The wide range of fluctuating emotions and yet, a more defined clarity of the issues that adults get all muddled in ambiguity. I enjoyed the way Will handled the partner or lack thereof for the retreat. I find the description of the inner workings of the adolescent mind with the featured internal debate and dialogue to clearly place Will as my favorite to win this race. .

Wow not the kind of breakfast I had in mind nor one I would want to be part of. The story seems to be coming to its climax and will be indeed interesting to observe it all come together. My concerns of course are regarding Trevor and friends and how it all plays out. Good writing and a very suspenseful story.

Wow! It seems that testosterone does abound among the younger generation. There seems to be lots of fodder for conflict and parental mediation. I doubt that Tiffany was expecting to have this much paternal involvement from sperm donor and grandparents. Some very challenging issues and relationships.

Now that the third generation has begun with paternal relationships defined which brings into play the dynamics of multiple sources of wealth, influence and power. The Dynasty(s) . What a base for the continuing saga. Well done Mark!

Mark, knowing your writing through the many stories - I know you will be connecting the dots and Gathan, who by the way has been steered back to his true self and will perhaps be happier and more secure in himself. I will indeed miss young Will -my favorite of all the many characters and personalities you have developed. Do not let him fall by the wayside. In my book you still are the ultimate teller of stories

This is real heady stuff. My bet is that when Sharpe reaches mid life he will be cheating on his wife and out looking for dick. He will also wish he had taken Kyle's position more seriously and really understood why he was chasing women yet the love of his life had been a man. I applaud your intellectual approach to this matter. Good story writing.
