    Chapter 3

Ahmed Mossan has never attended his class. Has he attended any of his classes or is he a shill student to lure girls? Where and how are the girls meeting him? The local and campus police appear inadequate to deal with this case and need all the help that they can get. The delivery boy's crime scene was overkill and was staged to send the message that these people were ruthless. Ken has sent for needed reinforcements. The mystery continues but the family is now together.

    Epilogue

And a good time was had by all 😁 and thanks for the fun ride on this adventure. Well done @lawfulneutralmage ❤️

    Chapter 2

It is still early, but the boy's clues and Ken's information both point to the same address and phone info. Ahmed being a rich a foreign exchange student, could also be a victim of kidnapping. The sex slave theory came from the anonymous tip slipped in with Ken's bosses mail, in a un-mailed envelope. The tipster said he was getting out of town and the food delivery boy (are they one and the same) is missing. The 3 girls went missing over a five week time period, but are still being held for that long? The keys to this case will be to never assume, get the facts, and let the herrings swim away. The boys and Ken and Joe have not talked for five weeks? Shame on them!

    The End

Jamie will move on to Chief-Inspector Mwangi's secret unit which apparently contains other like officers and is probably the best outcome for him. It's best he gets as far away from the Minister (the master of omissions and arrogant asshole) as possible. At least in this new unit he won't feel so isolated and have other fellow officers he can relate to and work with as a team. When dealing with the supernatural forces, this is the best the Met or British has to offer. Who knows what the future holds for Jamie, but it likely includes Mike as his permanent partner, and that should make all of us happy! Nice job of @lawfulneutralmage putting a bow on the end of a bizarre story from his imagination.

    Chapter 4

That's the way to tell them Al, but with a smile at the finish of the statement. 😀 I love Uncle George. He defiantly has Pete's safety and well being as a top priority. We can all see the dark storm cloud of Carl with his crowd, and his unknown influence on the horizon. I suspect that Pete and Mitch will need all the support that they can get. Hopefully, it will come to them.

That outcome will be decided after chapter 20 is published. Good luck 😈

    Chapter 1

Wow, time flies by quickly in Kenneth Hall's Mysteries. Joe and Ken are now married with two college student sons. 😄❣️ Happy to see this family has developed, but they can't escape from the drama that @chris191070 always throws Ken's way. Excellent, and an intriguing start to this newest story.

    Assault Team

Not true, Minister. Jamie could not commit the killing of the insane woman. Where did the shot come from? Is the minister finally going to get his hands dirty, or are there other things in process? Watch out, don't fall off that cliff!

    Chapter 6

Interesting chapter. While being somewhat younger than Phil, I can relate to the devastation of AIDS crisis and the Vietnam war, with the draft lottery and college deferments. Happy to learn more about Colin's story, and the influence of his grandfather upon his choices in life. Looking forward to learning more about these characters.
  11. The people responsible are safe?????
  12. What bothers me about this chapter is the Minister's lack of feelings of fear. The story is told from Jamie's viewpoint which creates the tension, but to me. the Minister acts more like an observer than as a participant. What knowledge does he have, that Jamie and the readers do not. He appears too calm, and fearless by what he is seeing. The tossing of the brick seemed to be a confirmation of his theory by his apparent lack of shock and fear. He expressed great excitement at the brick floating in the air by their opponents.
  13. 1. I hoped Chief-Inspector Mwangi had by now found a judge to issue a search warrant for this site, or my career would end in prison. 2. The eerie silence was deafening, and the feeling of power was oppressing. 3. “They have erected a form of shield. Such power! Incredible.” 4. They had the ability to create field which suppressed all sound. 5. The feeling of being watched became more intense. The firepower that Jamie possessed doesn't seem to match what they are walking into. The energy and the feeling of power was oppressing. @lawfulneutralmage has done his job to set us up for next weekends readings. Excellent writing.
  14. Things went better than what I had expected, and it was good to see Mike and Jamie enjoyed their time together after Jamie's prolonged absence. Jamie is back on protection detail much to Boswell's dismay. The relative quiet of this chapter will soon change because Jamie is preparing for a serious battle ahead. "He patted one of the bags. “Indeed, Jamie, I did. Red Dot Sights and LED Weapon Lights for MP5 and Glock 17M respectively, as well as three full thirty round magazines for the HK as requested. The armour elements are there as well. More excitement appears to in be our, Jamie's and the Minister's near future,

    Chapter 2

Quote: "Carl was handcuffed and led out of the building." We'll see what becomes of Carl. I know what I want to happen, but who knows what kind of pull he has outside of this school? The coach seems to be a fair man and hopefully Peter has the ability to recover before the first game. Will Mitch be more than a friend? Although Peter could always use a good friend, we'll see what develops between them. Life has been tough on Pete, and that is an understatement.

    Retaliation

Yes, the USA is so different, we prefer to deal with "alternative facts" and lies of omission are unheard of. 😈😃

    Chapter 4

The ghost of Gustav Hamm giving young Tom clues by means of sexual acts? Maybe he should be giving them to Ken directly.😄

    Retaliation

Well, the shit has finally hit the fan now! I had stated in comments in early chapters that Jamie was screwed and now he recognizes how badly screwed he was. Their day always started with the usual handshake, which was Morris-Walker's way to learn Jamie's thoughts and history. Excellent chapter that confirms what we questioned about Jamie's reasoning, all along, Now we will have to wait, to see what other surprises @lawfulneutralmage has for us next, I am totally caught up in this tale.

    Chapter 1

Peter now has support from his uncle and his grandparents, which is good, but I'm unsure how he will fare in his new school. Carl seems to be a top dog at school, and with the baseball team. Add to that the anti-gay feelings and the mention of the Matthew Shepard case only a few years earlier, things look tough right now. Nothing will be easy for him, but he had to be strong for many years living with his mother and being the young man of the house. Lets hope he can make it here.

    Prologue

What a sad life for Peter after his father died. His mother's reactions to her husband's death and her expectations of Peter (the six year old, who she expected to be the new man of the house) started bad and continued to go down hill. I worry for the rest of the children, and hope none become her new scapegoat. I am very hopeful that Peter finds a better future with his Uncle George.

    Chapter 2

I agree @Paladin great questions that I asked myself. I also knew that @chris191070's comment would be as helpful, as whistling in the wind. It is still very early in the case to put clues together, and Calvin and partner "Frank" could could be more relevant, than just being eye candy.
  22. Quote from the story description page: "This becomes only one of his problems when an unusual encounter with a suspect leaves him with more questions than answers, putting Jamie into the heart of a secret reaching deep into the UK government and on a path of self discovery." I believe we are at this point and waiting for Jamie to complete his " path of self discovery". The lack of sharing by the minister, and due to the casual appearing reactions of Mr.Turner to the home invasion (been here, understand that) reflect the importance of Jamie's self discovery. He understands that his super powers feed off of the energy around him but what can he do to focus and control that energy or power? PS: I miss Mike!
  23. Jamie "slayer of beasts", has a nice ring to it, He is blind, playing a game in which he doesn't know the rules or how to win. 😈 Just as the minister wants him? He better learn quickly because the game has moved up to a higher level.

    Chapter 5

Same school size and similar venue, but my date was a popular good friend who happened to be pregnant (not by me and everyone knew her story) but was getting flack from the school administration about still attending regular classes. I happened to be class president and decided to stir things up a bit by inviting her to be my date. A good time was had by us and our classmates, and it all turned out well in the end. She ended up years later marrying a a longtime friend and classmate of ours.

    Chapter 5

Jason has set out on a plan to get to know Colin better, and Phil is more than happy to help move this process along with his own goals in mind. He wants this to happen, but he wants it to be their desire too. Somewhere in this, we should learn more about Colin's story. Asking Colin to come early to observe his session with Jason is Phil's way to help this to happen. I totally agree!
