I'm a rather slow reader, compared to many of my fellow GA members. I have years of bookmarked stories, that caught my interest, long before I became an active member! I doubt catching up, will ever happen! But it is wonderful there are so many excellent options available on this site.

This chapter was a wonderful case study in film making, and reveals the importance of everyone's role on the set, and involved in the production. Johnny was wise enough to understand what the demands of his performance will be. The motto "All for one, and one for all" came to mind, as I was reading. Respect for everyone's corporation on the set, had great importance, and Johnny was quickly learning his part to play, blending in with the rhythm that was taking place. Many valuable lessons were being taught here, and he was understanding his role to play, in them!

Andrew and Ryan have a lot going on with the plans for the expansions, and changes to their various business branches. They are now on their way to enjoy a vacation, with special friends, and family members. Everything is coming together for a 'first class trip experience" for all involved. Dan and Joan have always been dear friends, and business partners, and seem like actual family! This is how very few people are able to travel. I hope all goes well!

Chapter 18 - Who Owns The Narrative?
Flip-Flop commented on Paladin's story chapter in Chapter 18 - Who Owns The Narrative?
As @Paladin has stated, Martin is losing "control over the narrative", which is quickly becoming much more difficult to maintain, as more people become involved. There will be many threads of turmoil to unwind, as we move forward. We are now at chapter 18, and it seems like we still have a very long way to go, before many situations can, or will be addressed. Yep, there is certainly a lot more to unravel here. I'm looking forward to seeing how future complications, will unfold. Just how rocky will everyone's path to individual happiness get, for each of Martin's recently created, and growing extended family members? -
I loved this road trip. All I have to add is "Let's do the Time Warp again!"

Johnny finally got his first movie role (the lead role, no less)❣️ This is a positive step for him and hopefully will lead to better audition results and future opportunities. Each casting review team, will be looking for something special from the actor, depending on the character's role, in their production, One type set, does not fill all wants. He will need to learn how to anticipate their different desires, for their various characters. Each audition, will pose a new set of different challenges for him, but that is how acting works. Live and learn, and continue to grow your output.

He looks so cute, but he and his fellow bears can cause such great havoc to pets, children, ect..... Have others reported sightings in your area? Many times our State Wildlife officials will attempt to capture, and safely relocate them. Hopefully, he is only passing through your area, and found an easy tasty snack, and will move on!

This sounds like a great combination, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they will work their cases together. Both are very interesting characters. This prompt story was a very exciting ride. Thanks Lee!

I love the fast paced action of this story, and the control of the police response, that Trevor has shown thus far. Thank goodness Jerry revealed the fact of the basement panic room to Julius. I had to chuckle at the fact, that the entrance code to the panic room door, was an obvious 911. The SWAT chief has set his capture plan in motion, but will it work out as he has planned? We shall learn more soon!

Bert's arrival was a welcome surprise, and will aid in Nathan's understanding of Martin's current personal, and professional situations. It should also help to liven up the activities around Martin's home, and family business. Carol seemed more than willing to "go with the flow", with all of these sudden changes, now taking place. The group also escaped Adelaide before Nathan's ex-wife could even make an appearance at Nathan's apartment.

I bought a heavy duty Whal steel hair clipper over 20 years ago, and still use them today. I doubt they make them as good now as they did then, but they have probably saved me thousands, over the many years. This was a plug in (I hate constantly replacing batteries in anything)! I have had to replace many trimmers over the years, so no such luck with them ☹️

This chapter was filled with tough waves of emotion, for our actor/surfer to ride out. Can his rejection at his first studio callback, force him to dig much deeper, and inspire him to become better, as he tests his unrealized limits? Achieving his acting goals is still a process, and after his initial disappointments, he seems ready to precede to reach a new emotional level, and honesty in his performances. Johnny now accepts these hard truths, as a personal, and a professional challenge. This chapter was packed with deep emotion, and very well done!

Martin's new wealth presents different problems. It may help to calm Nathan's worries about Martin wasting money to be with him, and assisting in all of his health, and counseling practice complications. Once known, it will also set both of their ex-wives into a total feeding frenzy (as if they needed any help)! It is what it is, but all this will have to be faced sooner, or later. Secrets can only be kept as safe, as their weakest link.

Somehow, I get the feeling we are being set up for a bit of drama, once Nathan is released from the hospital. Martin seems to have created an unusual ally relationship, with Nathan's mother, Carol. She believes that Martin is important to Nathan, and makes him very happy, and she has also become very fond of him. Carol also seems to be very wary of the actions, and motives, of Nathan's ex-wife Amelia. Martin is overdue to share some more about his current personal, and business info. Why is Nathan so shocked about the news coverage, of his actions? There seems to be much more about Nathan, that we have not yet learned. These two guys need to make some future plans honestly, and by working together. I guess we will just have to wait , to see what surprises will pop up, in @Paladin's next chapter.

Nightmares filled with anxiety, helps lead to a chance meeting, and the development of a long time missing, important shared bond. This is affecting Johnny's outlook about his life, and career. Walls of defeat, are giving way to those of being seen, honest within, and noticed for his potentials. This is a major change for him moving forward with his acting, along with the needed inspiration of a new loving, and supportive romantic partner. I hope Johnny and Sam can both keep building on these very positive changes.

Chris, for putting a big smile on my face for the last 10 days! Each short chapter was an out of this world delight to read, and so very well done!

GA NEWS ALERT ! .......... Barnaby, the Einstein of the capybara species, single-handedly saves mankind from itself. Readers believe that the USA could use the help of the largest known rodent now! Details included in the following @chris191070 story.

I prefer a mild flavor, over a very strong 'in your breath" flavor. At one time I worked with an immigrant man who was from 'the old country', who ate a cooked garlic bulb every day. When he would sweat, you could smell him coming from quite a distance away! Unfortunately our factory work area was known as the hot room! 🤢 Thankfully it was only a summer job;

Wow! It would take me a long time to use that much garlic, hopefully it will hold up well after being frozen, after harvested. But actually it does get frozen many times when it is in the ground during winter and in spring while growing.

Jonnny's new mindset is starting to pay off, in various important ways. It has been a harsh new mental experience for him trying to change from being a successful surfer, to a new career in acting. Clara's comments pointed out that he was now making the important changes needed, for playing the roles involved in show business. It is the goal of many, but few can survive the constant struggle to gain acceptance within the industry. Johnny appears to understand that he is on the right track now, to hopefully achieve some positive results. He at least feels much more self confident in this process!

Jace and Leo are such wonderful characters, but what really catches my interest is your vivid descriptions of their deep space explorations, and the various environments they are traveling through! It has been so well done.

Just what I need, six different flavors of ketchup to clutter my refrigerator with!

May CSR Discussion Day: Ghost in the Guitar by Lee Wilson
Flip-Flop commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
Lee also shows how much he respects the readers of his stories, by reacting to all comments. This is where his quick sense of humor really shines. The comment section of a @Lee Wilson story, is always a must read! -
I agree, this has been mentioned way too many times, for it not being important in future chapters!
